ReadNow: Romance Books Library Reviews

I read a bit of one of their novels. After I finished chapter 7, they asked for $4,99 per chapter. I looked to see how many chapters were left and I stopped counting when I got to chapter 150!!! Who knows how many more there were. After all, it’s beyond easy to keep adding cheap drama when you know you’re getting paid for each installment. Not to mention cheap writing. It would have cost me $748,50 to read to up to chapter 150. Of course you can also choose to pay them $14,99 per month, yet they don’t tell you up front how many chapters are left of the cheap novel, and you may think that by paying them for one or two instead of getting hooked on a monthly basis, will allow you to finish that particular story. You’ll be down for a surprise as you’ll have to keep shelling your credit card because the cheap novel you’re reading is endless. Even after almost $800 bucks you will not have finished it. This is bordering illegal in my opinion. Disgraceful and indecent!

ReadNow is such a rip off. It’s by far the most expensive app with chapters being 50 to 60 coins each. And when you get close to the end the chapters are anywhere from 450 to 500 coins each. I think I would rather eat and be able to afford gas than to find out how the book I was reading ends. And I think it has taken more out of my account that what it was supposed to. ReadNow doesn’t even deserve 1 star but that’s there isn’t any lower options to choose. Don’t waste your time or money.

I've paid to unlock the books to read them. And suddenly they locked the books that I purchased and asked me to pay to open them again. The worst part is when I try to reach out the customer service, they reply with an automatic message, and they're not responding to my complaints. It's so FRUSTRATING to have this kind of app and service where they know how to ask for money but not solve the customer issues!!! I even called them from the U.S to China to ask about what was going on with my purchased books, but they hung up on me!!! The Freaking hung up on me!!! I recommend you guys go for “Foxnovel”; it's much better than ReadNow. Although it's a little expensive, their customer service is the best

Overall I like the books on ReadNow. The problem is it is way too expensive for the chapters. Does anyone else notice when you redeem the coins with your points that the next time you go to redeem again the coins now cost way more points for the same amount of coins purchasing?! This is such a scam! It takes a lot longer to save up to read just one chapter. The coins should cost the same amount of points no matter how many times you redeem. If it wasn’t so expensive ReadNow would be fantastic.

ReadNow still hasn’t changed , I face the same problem ever dive I’ve been using it , the coins collected from the check in automatically disappear the next day without even me using them , which is really frustrating. Please fix it

I enjoy reading but the book that I was reading hasn’t finished and can’t open it. Another book opens. I can’t go to the book I was reading which is about the twins.

I keep earning free coins by doing daily logins and or playing the side games and it doesn’t allow me to redeem them. And if I don’t use them by the expiration date. They take them away. But it does not give me the option to redeem so how exactly am I supposed to use them? This is so annoying because it’s basically forcing me to to spend money and buy coins to be able to read. Which is not fair.

After the latest upgrade, ReadNow will not upload the ad for me to watch after checking in for me to get points ???

I’ve spent $50+ on ONE book. I could have bought 4 different romance novels with that money or a full tank of gas. It’s a trap. They get you with the FREE chapters but once you get near the end it’s 450 coins for ONE chapter. That’s FIVE DOLLARS for one chapter. For the last chapter they’ll probably ask for my first born. Looks like I’m deleting ReadNow to save my money for something better.

I have never been so disgusted by the greed of a company, especially on a READING app. They are self-published stories being sold at 4 times the hardback price of best selling authors. Stick with the library or something like wattPad if you want user generated stories. Or get a library card. At least this way you will still have money to live on while you sell your soul for your reading habit.

I love the books on here. I wish once completed it was possible to buy whole books or printed translated versions!

I books that they have available are great reads and I enjoy being able to read them.

Love ReadNow!! Love the stories they have just wish you could get more coins! But the stories keep you on edge and holding your last breath

I don’t want to buy $50.00 worth of coins at a time , I can’t finish reading the store because my coins finish so quickly. They only show you the coins for $50.00 and up

I’m all about authors being paid for their books. I understand that. But when I have to pay more money to get coins to read one book than I would at Barnes and Noble. There is a problem

I’m sorry I liked ReadNow a lot until the ads where showing up while I’m reading. If I have to purchase coins and tickets to keep reading I shouldn’t have to see the ads while I’m reading it’s distracting and irritating.

I absolutely cannot believe it has cost me so much money to end a book. I will delete ReadNow and never use it again , and I warn anyone who downloads it to be aware . If you get sucked into a book … it’ll cost you 70 bucks to finish it .

Beware, do not change your subscription type because you will be charge for both types. What a scam and unethical way to make money.

Why do you have to post if you can’t put the name of the book how can we continue with the reading? And you only put 13 chapters free it’s not enough don’t post if you can’t at least give the title non sense

At 80 coins a chapter and the cheapest coin buy being 500 for $5 and the whole book being 4583 coins your looking at over $45 to read a book that just robbery smh!!!!!

I read off a lot of these apps and don’t get me wrong i don’t mind paying but 500 coins to sneak peak a chapter is wrong no matter how it goes i can definitely spend my money on different apps they would neverrrr

Very expensive. You get like 40 minutes of “reading” free. Then you have to pay to read the rest. The books are translated so the grammar is not always correct. It’s very unfortunate cause I was enjoying the story I was reading. Do not recommend.

They want 430 coins to PREVIEW a chapter , you have to pay for chapters . And they aren’t very long chapters . So one story will easily cost well over $100. I am 68 chapters in and in order to down load the rest it’s going to cost $100 on top of the $30 originally spent.

Giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is a must choice and reading novels give you the serenity of relaxation.
