Kuda - Money App for Africans Reviews

First, I have to acknowledge the fact that you guys are doing a great job with your banking services and also the user experience of your mobile app. Somehow, I wish you didn’t need government regulations. But it’s fine. I want to report a bug I just noticed after updating my mobile app. I use an iPhone8, and I noticed that after requesting for a physical debit card, and got to the Thank You Page, I clicked the ‘Thank You’ button, which was supposed to exit me from the flow, but I only noticed the ‘Done’ button animate, and Kuda remained there. I think you should look into this. Thank you.

I try to make an urgent transfer to my Firstbank account and it said I should make an upgrade first by inputting my BVN details, I repeatedly did that over and over but it kept on saying, “BVN or date of birth incorrect”, due to the fact that I urgently needed and still need the money, I inputted my friends BVN just to get my money out of your bank quickly, after doing that, it said something about the name on the BVN account does not match my this app bank account name, so I inputted my main BVN Number again, and it said, “It’s been reviewed” or something like that, that it’s going to take weeks and I need that money now. My friend’s this app account didn’t take this long, it reflected, now that I try saving money with you, this is happening for no reason at all, please just tell me how to get my money out of your bank, and never again come to Kuda, I can’t be dealing with this issues.

I really like Kuda and would recommend it to people to use. It’s really good, easy identity confirmation, first money transfer. I’ve never had any problem with any transaction ever since I started using Kuda and I would have given it a five start but the only issue I’m having with Kuda is the maintenance issues, maintenance shouldn’t be done during the day in order not to disturb people using it for business. It should be don’t in the midnight when people using it won’t be much... I will be happy if this app team can look into this for me and I will be happy if that’s corrected cause while upgrading Kuda, it’s stops people from using it and might be disturbing any urgent transaction..

Why would I be making a transfer out of this app and couldn’t go through saying somethings went wrong after trying to link up bvn !!! I think I rate Kuda 100 % before now that I’m facing this much pressure is making me give up !!!! I need to transfer my cash out of the this app bank !!! Kindly put me through to make a transfer since I only can transfer to this app bank only

This bank is good but what if you have a problem who do you run to when there’s a problem, is it the only one branch located at yaba, or is it the Customers care which doesn’t ever reply, everything on the customer care chat is not live, everything is programmed so you can’t have a direct communication which won’t let you explain well. I am here in imo state I did transfer to my junior bros bank he didn’t get the money but they debited me, and they didn’t bounce the money back either. it’s been a month I’ve tried everything I can’t still everything is in vain. I need my money back, it’ll be nice if you guys see my comments and attend to me, 50k really means a lot to me, am really in pain. I won’t want to conclude this as what I think it is

I love this company and app. I downloaded it today and I have been using it perfectly. I prefer this to our local banks for real.. it will be ok if one can use the ATM card to purchase goods online and also can be used on cryptocurrencies networks just like other local banks. I can’t wait to receive my ATM card at my door step...

Kuda does not deserve 5star because.. if you have any issue with your account you won’t get response on time, once you sent an email just sit down and pray they’ll get back to you pretty soon, and they will never issue your debit card on time you’ll have to wait for months before you can get it... but the main problem is the customer service issue... I hope you can fix that and hire people who are ready to work

I've been getting text messages for me to upgrade my account to a business account and the link there for me to upgrade takes me to a this app bank website and ask me to login and my browser notifies me the the website is not secure so that's what got my attention
I don't know if you guys understand me

I’ve been using this app for long and I feel it’s safe to use and efficient also, it will be great if you can make a review of Kuda and include the scan to pay button, I think that’ll make sending easier and more efficient also!

My account is still locked with funds after I uploaded my national ID card and ID number to verify that I own the account with my BVN too I wasn’t let to contact the help centre are they trying to steal my money or what right now I’m not convinient with the situation because I can’t have access to my money in the account and it is very painful they should try and reply customers on all of their platforms pages the mails Facebook and Instagram pages I tried to contact all of these pages for help but seems they’re ignoring that makes me furious

I have been enjoying this app online banking but today I wanted to send money to someone but unfortunately my account has been locked and I need to send money to someone ASAP for emergency case please just unlock my account I have already sent your management a mail but they haven’t responded to my messages

you remove money from my account without even giving me history why you remove my money send back my money the money is 110,000 Naira please refund back my money this is just act of fraud and there bank have no calling center this is scam please refund me my money

Pls you we need to be buying data from Kuda also you need to be buying gift card froms us also pls we need this two things if you. Have this two things I promise you a lot of people will be using Kuda a lot pls and the gift card must be on a good and reliable rate pls

I have been using this app for a while now and even have encouraged many people to open giving them full assurance of safe Transactions but today some sent me money I didn’t see the money why is it like that and I need that money please check and it out for me this app am your honest user

You’re obtaining people’s BVN I guess. And making self advantage reviews to make people thing it’s cool. It’s not working, it keeps saying I’m registered and they won’t send me anything to my email to reset my password. Nothing working. Don’t do it until they figure out their system.

I would have love to rate you five stars cos your bank is cool and easy to use but your customer service is poor ..Most times that I called the phone will just keep ringing no one is there to pick it…even if I sent mails no there is no immediate reply it’s so annoying …am thinking of closing my acct cos I don’t want online bank issues and I won’t see anyone to help me thru it or put me thru what to do💔

This is the worse banking experience ever. Absolutely no customer service, even their number online say “not reachable” every single time of the day. Made a transfer, got an error message yet the funds were debited from my account and the transaction won’t reflect in my bank history. But Email notifications proofs the exact amount had been debited from my account. I have tried every means to reach these people all to no avail. I’m done with this app !!!! Scammers, it could be your tomorrow these people are scammers !!!

This is actually first time I will write a review about an app,this app BANK is best described with 2 word “SiMPLY AMAZING” since I have been using this bank i got so addicted I abandoned my other major banks. NO charges,free transfer,no maintenance fee,no hidden charges,very simple and easy to sign up, and again free alert,what else are you looking for ?!,I love Kuda mehn 😍❤️🥰

The is cool and good but you need to wait for long time before you can Receive your physical debit card, have ordered for my card over 4 months till now I haven’t got the card but thats not my issue yet, pls the most important is pls let us receive alerts on our sim cards when we receive or got debited pls it’s important

It keeps saying check your internet connection after putting my picture. Please what could be wrong because I have enough data on my phone. thanks

So I’m using dark mode on my iPhone XR and when I tried to input my address to order a card, the screen was totally white, I had to go back to settings and change to light mode. I hope this bug can be attended to immediately, otherwise it’s a 5 star rating for this app app but I’ll leave it at 3 star until that error is corrected.

Customer service is 100%, Kuda is easy to access, free or less charges compared to other financial institutions, this app bank is bank for the future and I will keep banking with them.

I have been trying to login into my account but isn’t going sayin invalid login and I have reset it still saying same thing, what wrong and I got funds inside it😡😡

I made a transfer to my this app account and it’s not reflecting and the customer care number or switched off always.

Steady failed transactions and they make you wait 48hours without reversal. I regret putting my bvn into this. Be cautious!!
