What is Rapid Ring?
Rapid Ring is a companion app to the Ring app that allows users to quickly answer notifications and check on their home in real-time. It is designed for speed and simplicity, and users can log in with their Ring account and choose the devices they wish to answer. The app also allows users to open the Ring app directly from within Rapid Ring to review events, set up new devices, or change settings. Ring devices connect to Wi-Fi networks and send instant alerts when people press the doorbell or trigger the built-in motion sensors. Users can see, hear, and speak to anyone on their property from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

LIVE VIEW WORKS PERFECT!
I almost was about to ditch Ring all together. On the main Ring app, the one thing that had the most issues (which was one of the most important features) is live view. This app fixes it and makes live view literally almost instant for me. RING....PLEASE KEEP THIS SIMPLE APP STABLE AND FAST...NO EXPERIMENTAL CHANGES! Also, there is ONE MAJOR feature lots of users including me need. PLEASE send a notification when Ring devices go offline. Things happen and sometimes I don’t know about it. I’d love to know asap if I need to reset wifi/power upon a rare failure. It does happen time to time and I’ll only know being in the Ring app..... Not ideal.....

Much improves access
I was not happy with the updated App for Ring. When I went to the App Store I found the alternative Rapid Ring App. It’s great! Faster and direct to the Live View in a few simple taps. It also gives the option to link back to the original App if you want to access your history. I recommend that you download Rapid Ring if you want to speed up your Ring service. However, it seems STUPID that it is necessary to use two apps to increase the functionality of the Ring Door Bell. The original APP worked just fine before they began to tinker and upgrade.

I never write reviews but..
I think people are misunderstanding what this app is all about. The actual Ring app is clunky and slow. I work from home in a quiet neighborhood and if I hear any unusual noise outside I get my phone to see what/who it is whether it’s via a phone notification or not. This app screams “get to the point” and after comparison with Ring’s it does exactly what it’s supposed to.. Get you to the live view as fast as possible. Love it so far. UPDATE: After a couple months using this app I switched to it as my default notification app over the Ring app. Game changer 🙌
