Elo Audio - article PDF reader Reviews

I really want to like EloAudio. I’ve been using it for a few months now and I can’t imagine how the normal user can find it ergonomic. I get licensing issues for sharing content from other applications but when I open an article on a mobile web browser like Safari, then share it to Elocance and get a confirmation that it was added to my library, I expect to find it …in my library. This never works.

The only way I’ve successfully made a workflow work was to export an article or pdf from the web to my Files app then import it. Ie not ergonomic. And no, I’m not emailing everything I want to listen to through a third-party server, no offense.

For an app that comes across as polished and modern, it cannot accomplish what VoiceDream did 7 or more years ago. I will say that Elocance’s voice are the best I heard. That’s it though.

Had a problem and tried using EloAudio ’s current inbuilt “call a founder” option, left a message and got a call* back from an actual founder(plus they helped troubleshoot and fixed my problem)!

That is rare and I’ll be a lifetime customer after that experience!

*Call back was within less than five hours of my leaving a message...almost didn’t answer as that is rare in the business of App support and thought it was another pesky telemarketer.

EloAudio makes it possible for me to consume briefings and documents while coming so that each day when I arrive at work I am both informed and prepared. Gone are the days of struggling to consume other employees days work to prepare for a meeting between first coffee touchdown at the desk and that first meeting that could’ve been an email.

Just downloaded EloAudio for the first time and tried to sign up. When I enter any email or password, says wrong email or password, and then does not recognize the email when a link to a new password is requested, which it of course, wouldn’t, as I’ve not signed up previously.

Obviously an issue with EloAudio since I have not signed up before. I’m not interested in being tracked by linkedIn, Apple or Google, so I will not be joining until the email sign in is again available.

This has seriously saved my brain from melting when trying to get out the door in the morning! I no longer feel like I can’t keep up with my news/ email cycle, and being able to multitask “reading” with my morning prep... it’s pretty great :)

It took awhile for me to figure out how to get the link/PDF to my library, however, now that it uploaded and I’ve listened to the voice quality.

I will stand by this… Elocance is the GREATEST text to voice service on the market. Firstly you get 200 minutes/month for free which nobody else would dare doing.

Then you get access to unlimited listening for less than $11/month. If you go anywhere else you’re wasting your money.

The is the best app on the market and they FOREVER have my business!

The voices are much better than Voice Dream, even the paid voices. It’s so easy to get PDF’s and webpages into Elocance as well using the IOS share extension and their Chrome Extension. This is by far my favorite app for listening to PDF’s and webpages. Love it!

I loved the simplicity of using EloAudio. However I had trouble as I was listening to a text book photographed and the system kept skipping one paragraphs. I hope developers can fix this soon.

I enjoy using EloAudio , however, for any article that I import, it skips paragraphs.

Don’t know if it’s a bug, but it’s unusable if this continues to be an issue as it defeats the purpose of hands free listening.

Please fix and it would be a perfect app!

I am trying to use EloAudio . It worked once I upgraded to a monthly subscription.
However, it’s now switched to a different language and I cannot get it to go back to English without a heavy accent and there is no easy solution to get immediate help to resolve the issue. I’m totally frustrated :(

I had never even heard of this before, but needed something to translate decks/PDFs to audio so I could get up to speed on new projects while driving. Works perfectly!

I recommend EloAudio because of its usefulness and ease of use and because of the fast and courteous customer support. A top company. As an academic I find this extremely useful.

Please help. I love EloAudio, and want to be able to download articles from my Mac. Cannot find the extension in Chrome. Please help! Otherwise, very expensive if won’t work in this way.

Love EloAudio. So easy to use and overall saves me a lot of time to catch up on articles while I commute on my bike! Highly recommend.

I hate reading cause i tend to zone out but EloAudio is really helpful.

Hi, I am trying to sign up for an account, but it won’t allow me to. It says that the servers are down/server unreachable. Either that or it says that my account is already registered. Please help!

The apps recognizes my primary email but there’s no email to read. It’s not loading any of my emails. I tried sending to EloAudio but I’m getting nothing. Not very elegant. Thoughts?

I’ve tried emailing as instructed and other steps but no luck having this read anything. I’m very disappointed.
