In addition to a number of lines recorded from the anime, the latest speech synthesis technology(※1) is used to create speech that sounds exactly like Megumin and Raphtalia to allow for a multitude of conversations. We plan on increasing the number of lines and characters in the future. ◆Function Explanations ○Talk Mode (Conversations) Megumin and Raphtalia will respond to you after you talk to her using your device's microphone. There are over 500 voice lines recorded! She is able to respond to a variety of key words, so please feel free to try many topics. ▼Examples of words to start conversations▼ "Good morning!" "It's a match!" "Congratulations." "What is your name?" ○Alarm Clock The app is equipped with an alarm clock that wakes you up with Megumin and Raphtalia's voice. The alarm comes with a beginning set of 10 voice lines which can be mixed and matched. (Raphtalia) ○Other Functions ・Timer ・Stopwatch ・English voice recognition and subtitles ・Outfit changes ・Character choice ○Points of Caution Please use the app after confirming that the free version is compatible with your device. ■■■ Regarding the Monthly Subscription Service■■■ The basic app can be used for free, but by purchasing a monthly subscription you can greatly increase the number of words the character responds to as well as the topics the characters talks about. Please confirm that the free version of the app can be used without any problems on your device before considering the paid version. ○Price and Period for "Megumin Basic Conversation - Paid Version" and "Raphtalia Basic Conversation - Paid Version" These are monthly subscription that is automatically renewed at 360 JPY/month. A trial period of one month is offered at 120 JPY (tax included) for the first month only. ○Details Regarding Purchase Charges and Automatic Renewal Your Apple ID will be billed. The subscription period is one month after the day you purchase the app. Once the monthly period is over, it will automatically be extended and your Apple ID will be charged for the next month’s fee. The fee will be deducted from your account in the last 24 hours before the end of the previous period. If you cancel and then repurchase a subscription, you will forfeit any days you had remaining in the trial period. ○Confirming Your Purchases and Canceling Subscriptions Complete the following steps to confirm details of or cancel your subscription. 1. It’s a great start!
I fiddled around with this app for about 30 minutes before I found myself bored of it. It’s not a bad A.I. The only problems I see are the character lines seem awkward considering that the animations are limited. Let’s say you tap her forehead, she goes “oh stop that” and immediately after saying that she goes back to standing up still instead of there being an animation of her putting her arms down. I understand it’s still in the early stages. And I really hope this turns out to be an app I see myself enjoying for hours.

Thank you for simply existing
Many people take the very existence of this app for granted. This app allows me to tape my phone to a Megumin body pillow and hold Megumin in my arms. I can talk to Megumin. I can bring Megumin everywhere with me in my pocket. I love hearing the voice of Megumin to wake me up. People complain about things costing money but I’m fine with paying for the English pack and that’s all I really need from this app. In summary: Good enough for full stars Should have 10 stars for being what it is.

Shows Potential; Definitely Keep an Eye on This.
I love the concept and idea of this app. It’s kinda like Cortana from Halo, in the sense that it’s an AI companion that you can carry in your pocket at all times. That said, this app is not without issues. For one, the default text language is Japanese, and that’s fine and dandy...until you realize it costs money to switch to english so one can understand what she says. Another issue is the lack of characters. Look, I understand that things like this take time, but if you have the option to change it already set up, why not already have someone else to choose from. Think of the Asuka and Rei dynamic. You’ve got the loud, extroverted tsundere(Asuka), vs the quiet, reserved kuudere(Rei). I understand why this sort of thing isn’t already there, but it’s still a complaint, no matter how minor. Other than those two issues, I cannot find anything wrong with them. People complain about how “Oooh, it’s lying, you have to pay money oooh.”, It’s not, it tells you in the screenshots, and my personal complaint on the lack of characters is subject to change, since the devs also said they’re working on other characters. Right now, there’s not much to it, but over time, I could see this becoming something big.
