TVRemoteUniversal is useless , Im not even sure it works due to the fact that the constant spamming of ads doesn’t even let me use it properly. Another reason TVRemoteUniversal is garbage is that in the settings to set up the “remote” it has the option to do so through an ir blaster . That is not possible for iPhones do not even come with one built in . Just shows that TVRemoteUniversal is a scam and just wants you to download it so it can make a buck off you by forcing as many ads on you as possible before you realize TVRemoteUniversal is useless and decide to uninstall it. Apps like this disgust me , they literally just scams that have no use other than collecting views on ads . This should be prohibited and regulated aggressively.

As soon as I opened TVRemoteUniversal it asked me to rate TVRemoteUniversal already... I haven’t even used it🤦🏻‍♀️. Then once I clicked on not right now it played an add. Once the add was over I tried clicking on the volume down button and nothing happened. I clicked on set the tv and it played an add. After that add I picked my tv brand and once I was done it played ANOTHER add! After that add I tried again to click volume down and it still didn’t work. And guess what happened after that? You guessed it! Another add!! Needless to say TVRemoteUniversal was nothing but adds for this dj app and the remote doesn’t even work. Don’t waste your time.

First u think u will use this remote and nothing will happen butttt nope u will have to wait people first things first it asked u to rate TVRemoteUniversal when I clicked not know I clicked the volume button guess what 😮😮😮😮 u get an add finally ur done with add it doesn’t even work the I look for my tv provider and know what 😒 another add I was fine with it for a little bit then I was connected finally then I tried clicking the volume button again and then ANOTHER add 👿👿😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡ahh don’t download TVRemoteUniversal trust me this is a garbage disposal help keep looking for another app seriously

You must be like me! Looking for an app remote that will actually work? TVRemoteUniversal as soon as you open, hits you with wanting a 𝚁𝚊𝚝𝚎. Yikes. You haven’t even used TVRemoteUniversal and they ambush you into a 𝚁𝚊𝚝𝚎. Well, it only gets better...I’m mean WORSE! Now they throw ads at you non stop. You wait through an app just to try it. Ads over then you try and test it, you start tapping a few buttons on TVRemoteUniversal . Boom. Nothing works and it throws more ads in your wound. Congrats you’ve wasted your time on another app download just to have to continue your endless search for a remote 😉 best feeling ever! 😑

I think it is a great app, but the only thing that bothers me is the fact that it has to ask my LG TV if it can connect to TVRemoteUniversal, for example what if I lost my LG remote and I could not find it and the babies are crying because they cannot watch it would be a lot of stress for me to handle I have another TV, but I did not try TVRemoteUniversal on it so I might try it now.

Worst app experience ever. awful awful awful. Wayyyyy too many adds, but I guess when you have an app with such low quality and you know that whoever downloads it will regret it pretty quick then you gotta get as much money from advertisement. I guess tips for improvement would be not to ask to rate TVRemoteUniversal after you download it, make it easier to connect to the tv, which I was unable to do at all, and take it easy on the adds!!!!!

TVRemoteUniversal is garbage, I downloaded it to use, as soon as you open it it asks you to rate it, betting its higher reviews are from victims that rated it before they used it. Even after that while trying to set up, you just get hit with ads for every button you tap on, even after watching the ads, you’ll find that the buttons actually do nothing but take you to ads. TVRemoteUniversal DOESNT WORK.

This remote does not work with either of my 2 TVs. Clearly trying to make a buck off all the ads they constantly pop up. The settings allow you to use an IR blaster which no iPhone comes with. You can take apart another remote and rig it to work if you’re handy. Too much of a headache to try and figure out and I just gave up. Should be easier to set up and actually work.

As soon as I downloaded, it ask to rate it. No I havent even looked at it most less rate it. So here I am... first off a add pops up.. clear that try the menu nothing happens click the three lines a add pops up.. 😡 then i click on connecting tv.. want’s IP address.. I go through the tv list my tv is not listed.. but guess what another ad pops up. I saw more of this ad then i did the remote it self.. dont bother its just a ad promoter.. delete app for me

I use TVRemoteUniversal nearly everyday. It is convenient and easier to find than our traditional remote which is often misplaced.

Opens app rate I didn’t even use it yet then add closes add another add and another,another,another and I finally clicked on change volume it didn’t work and guess what another add!!! Connected to my tv another add and then finally tried turning my tv off with TVRemoteUniversal and it DIDN'T WORK!! And then guess what GUESS WAT ANOTHER ADD dude if u open TVRemoteUniversal delete it and then write a bad review

Opened TVRemoteUniversal , right away it asks me to rate it. I said no obviously because I literally haven’t done a single thing with TVRemoteUniversal . Even worse when I start using it, it’s nothing but ads. Close em out and TVRemoteUniversal freezes. What’s up with that my guy. Anyways. Garbage app, probably shouldn’t have bombarded me with notifications to rate this cause I don’t rate apps. But ya shot yourself in the foot with that move.

Even though I have the “no in app review” selected in my app settings, TVRemoteUniversal as soon as I opened it, asked for a review. Even though it was my first time opening it. Then as soon as I click anything, even to just go to settings, it’s always an ad. Any button I clicked, an ad would pop up. Plus it doesn’t work with all of the tv brand it advertises in the description.

TVRemoteUniversal won’t even find my tv, even after I tried WiFi, the brand, and even my tv IP address. TVRemoteUniversal doesn’t work. Which is disappointing

I had the same experience as the other user and I hope you guys look to improve the functions of TVRemoteUniversal . In the sea of apps would be nice to get a small tutorial as you open instead of the ads. And perhaps a better search instead of the fixed ones. Took a moment to realize what options needed to be used to use the remote.

It was almost easier to setup than figure out how and what to download. Handles all of my entertainment controls.

Literally the only thing TVRemoteUniversal does is pop up commercials / advertisements every 3-5 seconds. Didn’t even see anywhere to pair it with my TV and none of the buttons work. Every time you try to press one it pops up another commercial / advertisement. So frustrating I just deleted it 10 minutes after downloading it.

TVRemoteUniversal doesn’t make sense! They just slap the remote on your screen and don’t tell you how to connect the remote to your tv! It wasted my time for I clicked all the buttons and checked the settings but still doesn’t work. Hope this helped you understand this all a bit more!

Asked me to rate TVRemoteUniversal every single time I opened the freaking app. And every time I clicked a button an ad would pop up, and on top of that, the ad wouldn’t go away when I pressed the close button, so I had to restart TVRemoteUniversal . Basically, TVRemoteUniversal does not work at all and if you download it, I guarantee you will delete it within 5 minutes.

I love using it to prank my mom! Is fine but there are some ads, and I am fine with that! I rate this as a 10/10

I downloaded this and was willing to contact the maker to help set it up. But I found no need to do that. Every button I pushed—if it worked at all was an add. The “rate TVRemoteUniversal ” screen was the first thing I saw. We are not idiots. We know we have to use TVRemoteUniversal to give legitimate reviews. I doubt the maker cares enough to make this work. It’s a joke

Worst Universal Remote App I’ve ever downloaded. I think the creators just needed a mule to spam you with ads. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a secret spy app, because it legitimately serves no purpose on your phone. You will find more satisfaction in getting up and getting dressed to travel to the nearest convenience store to buy a Universal Remote rather than downloading TVRemoteUniversal.

Asked to rate app when first downloaded and not even used. Said not now. Then tried to see how to program my tv to it and get an ad. Couldn’t do anything because ads kept popping up so deleted app. I rather deal with my remote that works after a minute than deal with an ad every 5secs

All that I was able to get TVRemoteUniversal to do was to display Ads, keep asking me to connect to social media and to rate it even though i had never been able to connect to a device.

This is either the least user friendly app or it is a hoax.

First of all TVRemoteUniversal asks me to rate it before I’ve even tried it. Second, it never saves my TV information. It didn’t work for me at all. I’m disappointed. Glad I didn’t pay money for TVRemoteUniversal. (Oh actually the adds/pop ups work, so something worked I guess.)
