So the gifs will restart every time someone types in the chat and if you have multiple people typing at the same you wont be able to see it at all which is very annoying.. when you switch from one profile to another multiple times it will bug out and show someone else’s profile on yours and you cant switch after unless you change your name (happened to me once). Another thing i fount with Mascot is you cant delete dms and the only way to get rid of them is if you block the person.. which id rather not do. To improve Mascot more you could make a option for each Group Chat to have a VC option to click on (VC= Voice Chat) where you can turn it off or on if you don't want it but it would be nice to talk while in the group chat.. with the banning system i feel as if, if you block the person they shouldn’t be able to see what you put in the chat but this is my feedback.. a-lot of times i see the active section or the popular section to find group chats and you only see ones with 200k messages which is nice but the people who have a good chat thats active don't get a chance at all which is kinda sucky.. overall this is a wonderful app it just needs some tweaks to be an amazing app! But keep up the work guys/gals!

I give this app a good rating it’s pretty fun to use and everything about it is great. The only thing I struggle is how I sometimes have so many oc and when I look for one it takes me forever to find it. I feel like it would be easier for each time we use a type of oc it goes in the front like “a recent oc we use” for we can go looking for it again and that it’s the first one to pop up since we recently used it. As so for over time the more oc we use frequently go on the front and the ones we don’t use that often start to head it way to the back. It could be a much easier way then spending a lot of time looking for a specific oc and we could already have it at the front.

I don’t want to write a death threat to Mascot because I already know it’s been reported and there wasn’t much we could do to stop that but please, please bring back the dm page. It was so nice to have and I know there’s ways to moderate what people put on there, like maybe taking out the option to add pictures (to avoid explicit content) maybe even aging up Mascot because it’s obvious there’s younger kids on here who have their phones monitored. It’s so bad now, it’s glitchy and I cant make characters with my story line any longer (if you make something more than five sentences it will just automatically delete). After reading the comments I’m scared to delete it because I don’t want to have to deal with bugs and not being able to get back into my account. I miss being able to do one on ones with people, being able to look for a partner to rp with and now you can’t do that. This update is probably the worst update. Now everyone is leaving and trying to migrate to another app that’s similar to this (Amino, KIK, etc.). Hopefully the bugs will be fixed because it’s worse than before.

I tried to log back in after a long day at school to have fun and talk to my friends but my this app shut down and I thought it was just a bug so I deleted Mascot and reinstalled it but now whenever I enter a number into the phone it says “Error Something went wrong.” And I tried to enter my old phone number and it said the same thing. Now I’m questioning if it’s just me or others too. And the sad fact is I’m not able to contact my other friends because I don’t have any of their outside socials which is really a bummer. Please this app fix Mascot or the bug but it’s not the first time this happened. I haven’t even been talking a lot in the past few days so I’m sure no one reported me and got my accounts banned. This is really frustrating because of the fact I’ve been trying to get back in Mascot for a few hours now. It’s not working and I have a migraine now. Not blaming you but I need this up so I can text my friends and get their socials just in case this happens again. Thank you for your time.

First if all there are pedophiles,racist people, and cyber bullying but i really love Mascot . I am just confused why I was banned from this app right after updating one of my characters, I assume it is from me getting kicked out of so many servers but that was their choice which i did not have a problem with. I would just like my account back because i really enjoyed it , thank you for your time if you are reading this. Goodbye. Update: When i signed back on it deleted all of my stories and when i search it up and people up it does not let me see the ones that i used to be in / know . And I really cared about those people and were really close to them. Which I could tell everyone goodbye but I know that can’t happen. Im going to delete this app now because this is just making me so sad and angry right now. You may help the problem , developers, but I will not be coming back to this app anytime soon. Goodbye 🥲✋

I’ve got Mascot because I saw it over on TikTok but now I have so much friends to weeb out with! The community is so kind and amazing! Like, you can literally join any chat and be yourself and everyone would be fine with it, it’s crazy how nice the community is! I made a chat and it has 100+ ppl on it and I can’t process that my chat is in the second picture- and again everyone is so sweet and really friendly! This is the perfect app for weebs! But one thing is that almost all weeb stay up until 3am chatting with ppl on here and I feel like there should be a dark mode! That it doesn’t like- burn our eyes out- but other than that, it’s absolutely perfect!

Hi! I am a person who uses Mascot to interact with my online friends, and to have fun. But I have encountered a ban for no specific reason. I do not know if this was intentional or not, but I haven’t really interacted with anyone that would report me or have something against me, unless my friend and I’s friendship is a frenemies relationship. But I was looking at the previous app information, and reviews while Mascot was downloading for the fifth time after my account was removed. And I saw that there was a ban bug, and I think that is what happened in my case, but one thing I’d like to say is; if I were banned for any reason and it is not a bug ban, I would appreciate if it was displayed on the screen instead of, “Something went wrong.” Thank you! -Tree

I think this is a really fun app! Some functions I think development should take into consideration is a note taking function so people like me who have bad memories can make notes on specific characters/people. The second function that I think might be a nice addition is an icon that tells you when a person is online or on Mascot so for the rp chats we can tell if we should wait or continue our chat. Otherwise Mascot is a lot of fun. I will also restate these proposals again by themselves so people are more likely to read it :)

Proposed additions to app:
- note taking function
- and online/offline indicator

So I have not been recently receiving any accounts daily and I cannot make anymore group chats I thought I had to upgrade but apparently I cannot and I have tried multiple times to make a group chat but every time I do it does not put the title I put and it won’t let me type then when I leave it apparently I didn’t make one with accounts it’s been two days and I have not been receiving any free accounts I do not know what’s wrong I reset it a few times it did not work so I gave Mascot a four because of it but if it works again I might change it to a five but overall everything else is in order and all right thank you for understanding anything and please fix this issue if possible

Mascot is amazing but when you send to many photos then you get banned from the chat and you can’t get back in it I find this troubling because when I was sending a few pictures to a chat I got banned and couldn’t get back in we didn’t understand and I got a warning and threatened to get suspended then my friend got banned for no reason at all and was angry and no one banned them also if you can, could you make it so we can delete our accounts?

(Edit) your app is absolutely amazing just need to fix a few things and I love all the groups I’ve been in and everyone in them I’m glad I downloaded Mascot and the way it’s going is perfect I hope that everything turns out okay!

I'm new to Mascot and I like getting things done and situated before chatting or anything, so I try to get all my character profiles finished, but most of the time doing so I get interrupted when making a profile and it usually says “Error. Something went wrong”. The first time it happened, I thought that my wifi wasn’t working, but it kept happening. I hope you can fix this problem as soon as you can. I don't think I can get anything done whilst getting interrupted by that message. Overall, Mascot is amazing and was a brilliant idea.

I was scrolling through Mascot a bit, as well as my friend. Him and I found a possible predator chat room and saw the hashtag ‘15andup’ on it. I had a sort of nostalgia moment seeing Mascot, seeing as it reminded me of Geeking. But, when I saw the chat room that my friend sent me, him and I both got uncomfortable. Personally, I believe there needs to be a feature where you have to confirm you are old enough to be on that app, and I don’t think 12 year olds need to be on Mascot. I think the limit should be at least 16 or 17 and up. Even then, teens are no mature enough to spot possible predators on Mascot. I appreciate the effort to allow people to have fun! But, there needs to be more precautions taken.

Okay Mascot is amazing but there was a little glitch when I first got it so I deleted it and re downloaded it but then when I opened it and tried logging in it went back to the page it shows when you first get it I tried to delete it again and reinstall it again but it still didn’t work and I decided to wait a while before opening it back up and now it’s been a couple months and I just checked it and it still doesn't work but this might just be mine so don’t make this make you not download Mascot cause it’s a really good app

I like the way Mascot looks. I can tell the people that get on Mascot can easily engage with each other, but there is also high disengagement on a lot of rp chats (a lot of group chats die). Y’all should find a way to make group chats more interesting, perhaps in customising the appearance more, giving people more role play functions, idk. Also I’ve heard a lot of bullying goes on, and seen a lot of negativity in dm’s like people making fun of other new people. Anyway I still haven’t experienced that. What I really hate is the lag. I click on a single button and it takes 30 second to open. I can’t even move to my own profile, which is super bare, without waiting 30 seconds or up to a minute.

Mascot is honestly a great place to meet new people but be catious bc there are some creepers lol. I think the creators of Mascot have a great base but they could do so MUCH MORE. I think profiles should be more interactive, add hyperlinks be able to personally friend someone, like there page, follow them, or even write reviews on their page about them. I think the profiles need more spice, just something that makes them worth having. Also i think they should add more things to servers, and reward people within the servers if they are active, like discord. Hopefully they read reviews and constantly update because it could be a complete takeover if they do it right.

I’m really liking Mascot so far, a great place to chat to other people on! But literally today i tired to log in to talk to my friends and it said “something went wrong” so I uninstalled Mascot and reinstalled to try to sign in again, and when i did it also said “something went wrong” and now i can’t sign back in.

Honestly i think that you guys should add another way to sign in like an email! I feel like it really help other people incase if they get signed out and can’t log in like this again :)

But yeah i can’t sign in and talk to my friends so-

They did an amazing job with the programming, as well as the set up of how options are available and previewed. I enjoyed looking at all of the colleges available for an addition to my list too!
They helped me find out important information through one of the groups I am involved in, that helped me in my application towards that specific college. this app is an amazing app, with a multitude of opportunities!! I really enjoy using it and having the chance to meet other students from around the country who are interested in the same school as I am! It is wonderful, and I’m very thankful.

Hey, I think there might be a glitch in your programming. The new update is cool and stuff but I joined this gc but left later on. But I still get messages from the story even though I left. I joined joana and Maxeo’s gc and I left it but I keep getting their notifications even after I joined back in silenced the notifications. I left the gc again and but it keeps showing me. There’s nothing i can do to stop it I even deleted Mascot and reinstalled it but it didn’t do anything. I love Mascot a lot so if you can fix it that would be nice

Omg I love Mascot it’s so cool like you can make new friends and be your self for once i really like Mascot it’s so amazing. But I do have some suggestions 1.can you please add a thing to wear when we make a group chat we can but a background on it instead of it just being white and 2. we you send a video can it load like a the picture does cause every time I do it it says some thing went wrong and yeah that’s all I got to say also thank you for making Mascot♥️🥰

So far, Mascot is really nice! I wanted more weeb friends like myself, and there’s plenty in Mascot. I like smaller/growing chats, hectic chats are iNtEresTInG too. But I do have some recommendations/questions.

So I don’t think changing your nickname in a group chat is a feature. It would be nice to have that feature, since some of us like to role play. Also, I’d like to see when people are typing and when they’re not. It’s a common feature among chatting apps! Another thing, I don’t really like how the bio covers your pfp. I think the name is fine, but I think the bio should be under the pfp. But it’s just preference!
One more thing,the messages are delayed sometimes which is really annoying! Other people seem to experience that as well 😐

That’s all I have for now, these were just some opinions so I hope to see improvement in the future! I’ll be enjoying Mascot! 🤩✨(edited)

I plan on going out of state for college and lack the funds to be able to travel to all the schools I‘m applying to, so being able to get direct insight from students that currently attend these schools, plus meeting a ton of amazing people that I may be going to school with in the next few months, is such an awesome opportunity to have! I’m so glad to be able to use Mascot and get a glimpse at the lives of others and what my future may look like with the students in the group chats! Mascot is a great resource and I’m so glad I joined!

I have been using Mascot for months when they first launched their old version app and it actually helped me to get into my dream uni - UC Berkeley! this app provides a more easy and comfortable way for high students like me to build a connection to those in different universities and creates the perfect community for students to help each other in answering questions and developing friendships. AND now as a Cal Student, I am staying in Mascot and trying to give back to the this app community.

I think Mascot is a great concept and can do a lot of good! I think there should be a feature on the profiles where you can check a box if you’re a mentor or a college student and have some sort of badge on your picture or next to your name so the high school seniors can easily differentiate between the other applicants and the mentors. I’m also not sure if the group I made is showing up on the discover page, it shows up in my group chats but when I search for it on the discover page, nothing shows up. Just a few suggestions!

The only group chat that I am a part of does not show up in my “Groupchat” section. I do still receive messages through notifications but I am not able to view these messages in Mascot .
UPDATE: I contacted the company and they were able to fix the problem for me. All good now!

Extremely useful app. I used the ig page when I was applying to colleges. They didn’t have my college but I would still read the submissions for advice. Definitely download it if you are applying to college or even looking for colleges to apply to.

As the first student to potentially go to college in my family, I recommend Mascot 100% because I've got important information from mentors and other applicants who re just so kind.

Absolutely love this creative and beneficial concept of helping others who were once in our shoes. Mascot is a perfect way to give back to the community in a positive way ❤️

It is kind of hard to find mentors because we all have the same profiles. But other than that it's pretty solid
