What time can I make reservations for Apgar Campground in Glazier? That information is not provided for that particular campground. " Most campgrounds go on-sale at 7 am PT/8 am MT/10 am ET, but not always! Check the campground’s “Seasons and Fees” tab for the specific time and date"... The info is not there. Recreation.gov instructions: Synchronize your clocks to the Recreation.gov clock (Coordinated Universal Time) to be sure you are poised to refresh at the exact time sites become available. Most campgrounds go on-sale at 7 am PT/8 am MT/10 am ET, but not always! Check the campground’s “Seasons and Fees” tab for the specific time and date. On the day of the sale, log in well before the sale begins. Bring up the campground page, add your dates, be ready to select an available campsite and “Add to Cart” the moment they are released for sale. Have your credit card ready and your alternate campsites in mind.

So looking forward to camping at Coulter Canyon Campground in Sept. While info came after booking that site is narrow and a certain # of feet. This will be very tight, wanting to check for larger site, but site keeps glitching ... so frustrating, can get no where and waiting to call for help before we drive hundreds of miles, 5 and 1/2 States away. I find no number. Not sure what it will look like when we get there. Please respond with a telephone number for help in our situation. Thank you.

I am an avid camper (40 Years) and have followed the rules, so I was surprised to learn a person can reserve a campsite, place a camper on the site and NOT occupy it for 5 days to hold it. This was the case in Chippewa Campgrounds, Bass Loop, June 24, 2023 through June 29,2023. We have reserved campsites 42 or 43 for many years and would have occupied one of them, but because the sites were reserved and NOT occupied, we couldn't. We did get a campsite and it was okay, but not the same. If policy is to reserve and NOT occupy the site we will use this policy. 7/2/2023

Too many issues with the site to mention, on hold for 21 minutes so far. The “Wait” was supposedly under 5. I wonder of they are even open, it’s now 5:45 pacific on a Friday. Recording said to hold with the short wait….

Trying to reserve a campsite at Ohanapecosh, Mt. Rainier National Park for two weeks before Jul 4th. Half the campground is unavailable, meaning I think, the park service has not released all those sites for reservations. Can you believe that. End of Jun early Jul and you can reserve any of about 100 sites. No way to contact Recreation.gov either as their site does not have any contact info. What a joke. Out tax dollars at work.

I got a private vehicle pass for 35$ for Yellowstone Park that I will not be able to use because of the flooding. I would like a cancellation for this pass. I can't seem to get ahold of you by phone. My pass number is 24WISA1822YE.I would appreciate it if you would cancel this pass and notify me.

I just made a reservation today for a campsite that I want to stay at in a couple weeks. It was shown as available. I happened to look elsewhere for a , and saw a notice that the campground and entire forest was closed all month due to fire danger. Another website confirmed this. There was no mention on the rec.gov site however. It would be fraudulent if they charge a $10 cancellation fee.

Constant Error issues

Lost out on sites because it said it was adding to cart, then would error out, click add to cart again and it wouldn’t be available, and it wasn’t in my cart. Because time was of the essence and booking for a group, would add to cart (had to add twice because it would error the first time, every time) go back grab the next site. When I had all of the sites in the cart, I went to modify and it would error out. Ended up having to remove from cart, which would error out, then add back in and add the details, then move on to the next site in my cart and do the same thing. Once I FINALLY was able to complete my reservations, it asks for feedback. I tried to enter my feedback, and guess what, it through another error. This time it didn’t matter how much I tried, it would not go through. So, here we are. Unfortunately, the website won’t let you book more than one site at a time, so you need this App.

Fix this

Looking at Red Rock Canyon it says you have to put in your annual pass number at checkout, but then you don’t...you just select the type of pass you have and present it at the window. This was a hassle for me because the park pass is in the car. I’m in the hotel room trying to plan my visit. The hotel has valet parking. So I had to decide if I should just pay the $15 (which I shouldn’t have to b/c I’m a pass-holder)...or if I should go get the car out of valet, which would also cost a few bucks. So I do all of that and then in the end I didn’t even NEED the number like it said I would! Update your copy to prepare the user for what info they’ll actually need at checkout. So simple.

Hot Mess

The service associated with this app is a hot mess. Yes, you can search and book sites on your phone——-BUT, pray there are no complications whatsoever. If you get a muddled availability, cancellation, or any other reason to contact support, buckle your seat belts for a bumpy ride. I had my reservation cancelled by the site, and trying to resolve the issue was one of the most frustrating dealing-with-a-business experiences I’ve ever had. They seem to think they are only responsible for taking payments, not issuing refundsor dealing with problems that arise. The rep actually suggested that I drive two hours, into a camp area closed for extreme weather, to ask for a refund. Brilliant! I’m thinking that’ll be the first time I need to pack snow shoes and bear spray to get a refund. Hopefully, the app and support service get their act together.
