English language: Learn & Play Reviews

A bit confusing, yet very much welcome! I or we as a people always can do better in our word selections. I was doing or trying hard to do well in word selections on two word games Word Wars & Word friends 2 . I lose often but that is to make you better I run out of current internet reasons excuses oh well many players are using words of different languages, well. If I find it costs I will have to let it go! The idiom app which I find confusing but I like .

I’ve been using Englishlanguage for a long time, and I can definitely say that it helped me a lot. As I’m preparing to pass my TOEFL and need to enrich my vocabulary in a short period of time, Englishlanguage appeared to be super helpful. I love that I can repeat idioms. I’ve been using lots of apps before, including the vocabulary builder, but it did not help. Englishlanguage is different, and this it the first app I’m planning to buy a subscription to study more intense. You guys are doing great, thank you 🖤

Very disappointing to find out that if you don’t have the paid version, it just keeps repeating the same lesson over and over. I plan to delete Englishlanguage . It’s a set up that leaves you no choice but to have the paid version or nothing at all. I’m going with having nothing.

I just started using Englishlanguage. It is still a bit too early to give a review. One thing I notice right away is it doesn’t have audio to teach you how to say the phrase. I think it would be even a better app if it has audio and be able replay and at a slower speed if wish, especially for people who are learning English as 2nd language like me. Thank you!

This is exactly what I need as an English learner, who is able to communicate but need more various expressions to be more fluent. So, I was willing to pay for Englishlanguage, however, $10 per week or $100 per year? It does not make sense. $30 per year must be the right payment for it..(though some might think it's still expensive) I would rather buy an idiom book or look for some references on the internet. Sorry guys. It is really a good app! Except for the price.

This is an app that claims to help English learners by teaching idioms. However, there are many misspelled or incorrect words in Englishlanguage . Even their advertisements are full of errors. On top of that, Englishlanguage wants users to pay monthly (or yearly) fees that are well beyond the quality of their product. I am an English teacher and I would never recommend this, in fact I would specifically use Englishlanguage as an example of how NOT to learn English.

I think it’s a great app. Only issue I have is that it’s $8/week. There are similar apps for about the same price per month. If it could be more affordable that would be great.

I tried many apps, and it was simple and the good best app so far. I think I will continue to learn on Englishlanguage. thanks for Englishlanguage developers

Do not download this “free” app unless you want to sign up for weekly payment!! I plan to give 1 star reviews every time this happens from now on. Also the “help” link they attach when they reply to these comments is broken. Do better and advertise your apps the way they are designed so we don’t have to follow broken links to cancel things we didn’t offer to pay for. Horrible companies.

I totally did not understand the point of what I was doing....😳. I get that I was learning idioms but why not just memorize the idiom....I felt like I was supposed to be learning English....Is this what I was supposed to be learning???? I want to write it higher if I get a better understanding of what I’m supposed to be doing...

Please let me try Englishlanguage with ads without having to sign up for it and pay!
I was thoroughly excited about the concept of Englishlanguage but deleted it before even trying Englishlanguage as it asked me to sign up immediately. You are loosing tons of people doing it this way. It is a shame :(

I am enjoying the first 3 sessions, however, it’s too early to arrive at an opinion.

English is my second language and I need to improve it. This good thing about Englishlanguage is that It explains the words or terms.

Sometimes broken dreams can be really hard, but we need to walk even with our heart broken.

I don’t want to buy it please cancel this purchase. This is good but I don’t have more money at during pandemic. Please cancel it please

I have purchased and I am using it now but there are very limited contents and above that, half of the courses and games are not accessible without any reason. Personally I feel I have wasted my money.

The only issue I have is that most sites are 9.99 a month.. this site is weekly!!!?!!! Come on really !?

Englishlanguage is obviously made for people who don’t already understand the English language and are trying to learn better. Overall a decently fun and engaging layout and UI but I certainly don’t think Englishlanguage is worth $10 every month.

Love Englishlanguage so far. Can you please make it Apple Watch compatible?

I downloaded Englishlanguage to practice my idioms as I am an English speaker who doesn't use very many and could use a boost. Anyway I want to know how I am improving. These "quizzes" are not graded, so there is little motivation. Easy fix.

I don't know that you guy will automatically charge from my account for the premium after 3 days of trial or not. If yes, please cancel it right now, I just deleted Englishlanguage .

Very nice colors, childish style, but the application functioning is not proper and I feel sometimes freezing, you need to work more on the application handling, and usability to be more usable and smooth, also the cost need to lower.

I loaded for trial period. After that I changed my mind and deleted Englishlanguage before the trial period ends. Now it is charging to me and it is impossible to cancel the subscriptions. This is an awful app just because of this. It is cheating the people.

Trying to be more diverse in speaking. Hopefully this is worth it and I will stay disciplined to doing this everyday.

Don’t even try.. unless you are willing to pay. Like come on at least use ads to make money instead of asking me to pay upright. Or perhaps offer an ad free version after I am able to test out. A 3 day trial is laughable.

$9.99 a week? Come on. I’m down to pay for apps as an app developer myself but that’s outrageous for something with very little value add. Learning idioms you probably already know for $40 a month. Laughable.

Englishlanguage costs $9.99 a week, so nearly $520 a year. One of the puzzles is buggy because it moves words right before you tap it.
