I use Facetune 2 Andrew pay for that app. I read the gleaming reviews on this particular app and I have to say I am not in the least impressed.

I do work with professional photos and I thought this would be a great app based off of the reviews for editing. All I can do with the photo was hit auto adjust and there were options to slide coloring around and things like that but I need an option that allows me to airbrush. This does not offer that. I do not do heavy airbrushing but I need some control and I need to be able to pop color a little bit and this did not do it when I use the auto adjustment setting there were parts of the photos that just looked over saturated. Again I am not impressed I am going to have to figure out how to remove this before they charge me $30 for a year. By the way it mentions that it is $7.99 per month but it doesn’t give you the option to select the month it only gives you the option of a year. So now I’ve got to find how to remove this.

There was a background button and a face button but both were in dark gray and I could not press the buttons to see what they did. I have never removed an app this quickly from my phone I literally downloaded it messed around with it for about 15 minutes and could not get it to do what I needed it to do.

I want nothing more than to fully love LensaAI because it honestly is one of the best free photos editing apps in LensaAI Store. But there is ONE major flaw that I just can’t stand and is a constant source of annoyance for myself and I’m sure many others....

To whom it may concern in application development,
Why in the world are users only allowed to replace or edit the background in only the pictures that the “face detecting” technology actually detects a face...? This feature only accurately works 60% of the time (and that is being generous) & it doesn’t really make sense that users can’t change or replace the background in pictures that don’t have a person in close proximity front and center facing the camera. I have active Poshmark, Mercari & EBay Sellers accounts & it would be a blessing to be able to use the superior background replacement & alteration ability featured in LensaAI on my merchandise photos instead of having to constantly set up new and aesthetically pleasing backgrounds every other photoshoot.

LensaAI states that it’s a free trial for 7 days. After that membership options are monthly, yearly or one time fee forever. During my trial, there was no way to select the option for membership. It wasn’t until today, 2 weeks later I was finally able to figure out I was charged for a FULL YEAR and there is no way to upgrade to the one time membership. I tried to cancel all together and learned it was too late I was locked in until next year, 2021. I really enjoyed LensaAI , but this tainted my opinion, as it is very shady. It’s sad to have a great product, and it be overshadowed by this. I recommend LensaAI developer become more transparent in their membership enrollment so customers would know the only option is one year. They should allow members to select the membership they choose upfront so when the free trial ends that they are enrolled in what plan they want.

The thing I do really like is how you are able to adjust features/settings just specifically on the face, or foreground, or background, without applying the effect to all. This is something that you could do in other apps, but it wouldn’t be as quick and convenient because you would typically have to first do the shadows and highlights and then overlay them onto the original picture.

However, a big problem I have is that it doesn’t let you adjust from what it automatically finds to be the face, foreground or background, so you aren’t able to perfect where the new background or effects will go. You can get around this by going into another app like Photoshop and overlaying edits, but that gets rid of, to an extent, convenience of LensaAI. But then again, the things that you can’t even fix is that it often times won’t recognize a face so then you can’t do any of the face options and it won’t let you select your face manually either.

Also, the filters are very generic.

So again to sum it up, I like the face, foreground and background option but the options in general are very limited, don’t always work, and nothing too unique.

Update: I change my rating from a 2 to a three because I see that it is primarily for selfies and so I used it on a selfie and it worked better like it was the first time that I was able to make it detect a face, but it still didn’t detect it perfectly so I really wish there was the option to adjust what it automatically detects.

I seen LensaAI advertised to me. Which I must have in the past been looking for something like this. It’s $30 a year with a week trial or u can use it just for 1 pic a day for free. The $30 per year is so worth it and the quality of LensaAI is fantastic. What I would love to suggest, if you guys can create a manual outline for face when it’s not detected or allow us to add a background to any picture even if there is no face in the pic for example if it’s a picture of a pet, or a picture of food, etc. If u add that LensaAI will be perfect. Thank you so much to the developers of this 5 star deserving app 😊

Don’t say you have a “wide range of tools” when you only have the most basic editing tools that most apps already have. Frankly, I don’t understand why you don’t have the vibrance tool with saturation when vibrance is more skin tone focused, considering this is a selfie editing app. Saturation tends to be overkill and makes photos look cheap since it changes all the colors. Also, don’t claim to “delete all other editing apps” in your Instagram ad when you don’t even have the curves tool or split-toning, both of which make the difference in a more professional look. I understand your point is to make this “quick and on-the-go”, but those tools are easy to use as well. What you really meant is “intended for bimbos who have no knowledge of photography.” Thanks, and have a great day 😁.

I loved LensaAI when it first came out. Was actually the best hands down that I’d experienced so far and trust me I’ve tried many. But it has declined greatly. Every single photo I use to edit says it doesn’t detect a face which is ridiculous especially when I’ve even used some that were very clear with person facing straight forward and almost nothing except the face. I usually don’t bother reporting things but I likED LensaAI so much I was hoping they would fix it but still nothing. Also the you have to pay for it now and I’m surly not going to pay for something that has failed to live up to their potential. Also LensaAI cuts parts of your body off when you change the background feature with no option to edit or outline manually. Sure hated to see LensaAI go….

Seriously have downloaded editing apps by the tens test em and uninstalled and this one hasn’t failed even before I paid. It was so well I paid for the yearly unlimited. And the new updates are great. No over smoothing no over editing no over highlighting it doesn’t make you look like you edited unless you do back ground blur with is amazing!! And has 3 diff blur effect btw .. I’m picky af when it comes to photo editors and apps to keep on my phone this one will never be deleted! It’s beyond worth it. Specially if you don’t want all the craziness of photoshop super quick n simple 👍🏼‼️🙌🏼😍

To the developer: I have really enjoyed Lensa for its less obvious touch up capabilities. I plan to use LensaAI forever.
Today I was going through my many and varied Apple subscriptions and saw there were different price levels for weekly, monthly and annual subscriptions for the Lensa app. I’m currently paying $4.99/ month. I might upgrade a tier or two if it was clear what additional benefits might be had. Could you provide a link for clarification? I’ve done a bit of searching, but nothing I’ve unearthed was specific enough. Thanks.

LensaAI would be perfect if it gave the option to crop/erase the foreground picture instead of automatically doing it for you when replacing the background. The advertisement that made me want to download LensaAI , showed a picture that was cropped perfectly with a replaced background. That's not how it looks at all when I try to do it....the automatic cropping is terrible and doesn't give an option to use an "eraser" to perfect the outline. I'm disappointed and will look for a similar app that has the ability to do this. Other than that, LensaAI is OK. I like being able to edit just people in the pictures (foreground), and the background separately. 3 stars.

I absolutely love LensaAI for editing photos! The finishes are beautiful! I also like the new updates but... what I don’t like is that I can no longer choose multiple pictures at a time to bring into the Lensa app. Since the recent update it only lets me bring one photo at a time and if I have multiple pictures that’s a lot to go back & forth.
Will this be fixed?
I would have given LensaAI a 5 star had that not been changed.

I just want to say that LensaAI is a very good app, like this is my first app I’ve ever downloaded off of TikTok or any ad really and it is great! 3 photos a day for free and it does all the features, and plus the subscriptions ain’t too bad either to edit more than 3 a day. Like if you need to edit more than 3 photos in that one day and ain’t tryna spend a lot of money the $1.99 a week is perfect, if you are big on photo editing then the $20 is great too for a whole year. Just a great photo editing app and great deals, I think they did a good job.

I used it just now and to my surprise I really liked it although it was the first time that i used this program found to be easy to find the option and as soon you select apply you can see the changes you can have the program adjusted for you or you select what you want and the click adjust button and magically see the changes that you wanted the program did it for you .
I strongly recommend to try it and see if you like it as i did. Have fun

If you love taking pictures you’ll love LensaAI. My pictures always get compliments. I have a new iPhone 11 my pictures turn out beautiful plus the edits I can make. I have 3 kids and a pup I love editing with this. It will also touch up your selfies. I don’t get why people are complaining about having to pay or LensaAI tricks you? All apps that aren’t free do this they charge you? what’s the problem paying for something you love?? And if you want to cancel or can’t figure it out google it. Very simple. Good luck this mom loves LensaAI :-)

You might be impressed if you have never used an app before, otherwise there is a long list of apps that do more for less money or even free. I thought I was signing up for a trial, but found out that I have it for a year for $30. I’ll never use it, so I am going to cancel my subscription now so that I don’t forget and delete LensaAI to clear up the space it’s wasting. The interface looks like it’s for 90-year-olds who can’t see because the buttons and sliders are huge, while the photo is small. I don’t get why this has good ratings. The actual tools give decent results, but not even as good as a lot of free apps. Again, maybe those ratings are by people for whom this is their first time using an editing app.

I downloaded this because of the cool Christmas backgrounds that were advertised. However, when I downloaded LensaAI , I was immediately prompted to pay a pretty hefty price. Had I been allowed to test LensaAI , maybe I would have opted to purchase it but all I was able to do was play with exposure, contrast, etc. all things I can do on my iOS without an expensive app. It wouldn't allow me to test out the backgrounds at all. On top of that, it couldn't recognize a face with a mask on. There is clearly a head and eyes to detect but I didn’t want to adjust anything on my face anyway. I only wanted to test out backgrounds. Needless to say, if I can’t take LensaAI for a test drive, I Def won’t be purchasing. Seemed cool but was a total dud :(

I know this long but please read! I just wanted to say that this is a good app to use to edit your pictures. It has different cool features like blurring the background, lighting the picture, flipping the picture, filters, darken your eyebrows, make your nose smaller, and more. My favorite is the autocorrection where it edits your picture for you! I’d give this a 5, but I hate the subscriptions. Seriously, 5 free photos?! lol I can buy a 1000 dollar phone but I don’t do subscriptions. Sorry, that’s something I don’t agree on. At least disable some of the features, not the edits of our pictures.

I thought this would be another one of those apps where I download and try it and it doesn’t do what it says. After I got LensaAI I uninstalled all my other apps Thats I used to make my pictures look professional. The advertising said it does videos which is why I got it, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that yet. It’s only adding my pictures.

But this is an amazing app and definitely worth the money if you’re gonna use it often.

Been using LensaAI for about two years now. It was great until a few days ago after a recent update. Now when I copy the edits from one photo and paste it to multiple photos the pictures go blank and turn completely white. I’ve tried re installing, closing and restarting LensaAI among other troubleshooting steps but it keeps happening. Even if I open just one photo with a face it won’t detect it. It just keeps saying the “hang on, AI is warming up” and it just hangs. Please fix this issue

The first time I used it during the trial I was able to open an existing photo from my library. After that, the all just freezes when I try to open another photo with the + link. It will only open and edit photos I take with LensaAI . I emailed customer support two weeks ago and haven’t gotten a reply (other than an immediate reply that my request was received). I have already been charged for LensaAI , but do not want to pay so much for it if I cannot open existing photos from my iPhone library. I don’t understand why it worked when I first got it, and after that first photo it doesn’t... fix the problem or properly advertise that it will only work if you take the photo using LensaAI !

This has unmatched ability to edit who you physically are so you don’t have to actually take care of yourself, and even better come to terms with using self esteem excuses like having a nose too big or eyes not like an anime character. Wrinkles that show a life lived, no more! Natural skin that wouldn’t make the original, pre-Photoshopped draft of Vogue or GQ... don’t worry, this has ya covered.

This will help you take the best selfies that don’t actually represent yourself, pretty much guaranteed!

Perfect for dating apps when you want to misrepresent yourself and blame the other person for being vain when they don’t want to go on another date because you didn’t look as “good” as your profile photos.

And if you’re a professional, don’t worry, you can totally use this on your LinkedIn profile and throw everybody off when you show up as someone else. Key to business is to keep everyone on their feet right? Mix that with willingness to misrepresent yourself so nobody knows if you’re actually confident or blowing hot air, and you’ll rise to the top faster than the “norms” who waste energy on their own health.

Great app, definitely doesn’t devolve the species into struggling for relevance by adjusting their digital appearance to seek acceptance.

LensaAI exceeded my expectations. Well done! I’m a pixel peeper and a retoucher and LensaAI performs above and beyond for good quality images intended for social media platforms. It won’t replace the high end retouching tools on your Mac and PCs, but it cleans up your portraits while maintaining an acceptable level of skin texture on your phone. Well done.
My only request is that you give the user the ability to save ‘custom corrections’ so that we can batch edit similar images. Also, the addition of contour lighting would be a plus as well.

I don’t even write reviews... but I feel like this should be shared!! LensaAI makes your pictures light and airy without looking over edited. I’m self conscious about some of my physical features and LensaAI helps clear skin and brighten eyes, etc without over doing it so that you still look like you... just with airbrushed makeup. The filters are super cute and just add a nice color. I’m happy with the $40 I spent. If you like to edit pics and play around with that kind of stuff; it’s well worth the price!!

Use LensaAI daily and sometimes when I don’t even need to. It’s extremely addicting. Very easy to use and understand. There are zero “bad shots” with LensaAI. Period. It’s ability to edit every shot with the finest of details is nothing less than amazing. I cannot see many people being disappointed with LensaAI. Just flawless!!

Yet another app that thinks the monthly subscription is a better price model than a 1 time purchase. I’d like to see how many companies are officially kicking the bucket because of this garbage. I get it. Times are tough and devs are not making the money they want off their hard work. How bout this then - simply make LensaAI higher priced but still a one time fee. A monthly sub just to use an app is the lamest business model and I guarantee I’m not the only one avoiding these like the plague. Are you guys even making any money from this at all? I can’t see even existing subs being a sustainable option once they realize they’re still getting billed after they stop using LensaAI regularly a month later. Just lame.

I’ve been using Facetune 2 (paid version) for a couple of years. Nothing has ever come close to that until now. Lensa is worth the price of admission if you regularly retouch faces. The results are the most natural ever. Super simple. Outstanding results.
But it is lacking some features. I wish I could crop photos. And I wish I could spot retouch. Because of that, -1 star. I still need facetune 2, but I reach for that second now only if Lensa doesn’t quite get it all done.

I was excited to try Lensa based on some reviews I had read. It’s a powerful app, but unfortunately it does not work after importing the first photo. Even after paying for premium, this problem persists. After reading dozens of other reviews, it’s become clear to me that this is a widespread issue. I don’t understand why the developer persistently acts surprised by this problem and asks people to email support as this clearly a major, and common problem. The only way I have been able to solve this, is by deleting and reinstalling LensaAI and restoring in app purchases each time.

I paid for a year subscription and after yesterday's update the only feature that works is Adjust. Face and background are greyed out and do not work at all. I attempted to reach the developer through the contact that's listed with app only to receive an error. $30 for an adjustment tool that I can get for free anywhere in LensaAI store? And can't get in touch with the developer? I've deleted and reinstalled LensaAI and still nothing. Going to give this a couple of days to give the developer a minute to sort this out before I reach out to Apple and make a stink. Feeling a bit scammed right now.

I downloaded LensaAI for free very excited but right when I opened LensaAI it told me to press a button to upload a picture to start editing. I was very disappointed when it told me to pay and subscribe. I think this should be free. All of it! I really just want a good editing app that is all free. I’m very disappointed in MY experience I think this could be created better. But on the bright side I did enjoy how when you open LensaAI right away and it is showing you how to work LensaAI it shows the difference of what is does. Just wish I could do that without paying.

LensaAI allows me to make my photos look like professional photos. It’s worth every penny. I’m a big selfie person and now they all come out looking amazing. I don’t totally alter the way I look because I want to still look like me but this allows me to make corrections when my pictures come out too dark of if my eyes look red. I love the blur background feature.

I love LensaAI , easy editing just one thing is I’m not able to adjust the background area where I wanted to be blurred!!! It would be great if u made an option to able adjusting the background blurring areas. Thanks

This is a great app, however after editing a few photos I was no longer able to select the background option or face option on any of my photos. It would only allow me to select auto correct. I am using the free trial and had planned on paying for a year at the end of the trial but now I am not so sure. I was also unable to connect to LensaAI support option. I have downloaded the newest version multiple times and that did not fix the problem.
