My family and a I came from America to visit some other family members... we went to Oslo to try on of the scooters and we chose this app cause it looked kinda cool compared to Bolt thats probably why I rated 1 star instead of 0. Anyways... me and my family waited three hours for TIER to download because we have bad data and we entertains ourselves by throwing a packed up bolle around a parking lot. Finally it was done loading. Than we found that TIER thought we were criminals and accused us of fraud and suspended us after we had put in each of our phone numbers multiple times. Then we tried another company “Void,” and it download fast and there was an easy set up for a low price. And it was so fun! My point: don't use this awful company... use void or support another brand especially dont use if you have a US number. My aunt said she used this app one time and she got like 3 precent on her scooter and it would not let her take a new one... what a waste of money! Im still surprised she even got past the sign in.

Save your legs and take a this app… I am a new visitor to Budapest and needed to get to the train station. Google showed me where it was this app got me there. It took a few minutes to log in and create an account. And my 70 year old legs were saved for a more enjoyable purpose. As they say on the interweb … just do it… I say you won’t regret it. Just drive safely to preserve the sanity of those around you.

This was my first time ever using this. It’s been great! Your phone will charge while you are riding, and the customer service is excellent! As a brand new customer to this service and to the city, I made a huge mistake and went into an unauthorized zone. I called, and they helped me out immediately. They were very understanding and helpful.

These are new to my city and they are much better than the previous provider. Good quality, available and much easier to use.

It made me super angry. First it requires for you to enter a card even though you “start a free ride”. It blocked the only amount left in my card and that’s okey but the scooter wasn’t working and didn’t give me back the amount (yet!). I had to transfer money pay credit card etc. and as soon as I started riding another scooter, it slowed worst than walking! I was on the red zone where you don’t need to park I understand but nobody told me it would actually stop. I lost almost 30 minutes trying to figure out that it wasn’t right for me.

They have a convenient phone holder so you can see the directions while you ride too. Maybe a bit expensive idk

TIER was very easy and their scooters worked great. I rode this all over France, I covered so much. It was a lot of fun. I recommend this over the other options. Someone who was with me had issues with another company scooter, these worked flawless.

Like charged me $22 because TIER didn’t work and failed to end my rental. Ending a rental with this app is super easy and at least in my area of Paris the availability is much much better.

They must make all their money telling you that you can’t park.

I’ve now done 3 rides in Paris and all 3 were quick 5 min rides where it took me 20-30 min to (1) find a parking spot down 3 blocks away, (2) found a parking spot but was told “parking spot full, find another” so had to go about 2-3 blocks away from my destination… all the while being billed full price. RIDICULOUS.

And if you want to hang on to the vehicle while you jump into a store real quick, this app won’t lock it for you unless you are in a parking spot. No chance. So someone would steal your ride for sure.

this app has the worst vehicles and the worst user experience.

I tried all the scooters this one costs a tad more but it’s like driving a Mercedes’ over a Honda lol it’s worth the cost it’s faster, more sturdy etc etc.

Love the scooters. It has turn signals and a place to put your phone for directions. Neat design where the battery pack can be separated for maintenance and charging

Makes getting around longer distances without a car easy

This one is my goto commute option in Frankfurt! Absolutely loved the phone charging option and the cradle for your phone while younavigate the alien land!

A good option sometimes. Scooters are a bit slow, and a bit expensive. But glad the option is available.

Great access around Paris. App provides alternate drop-off locations. Easy operations. Just need to accept US licenses, please.

I tried to download and use TIER
In Oslo. In the setup process it asked for my phone number, which I carefully entered multiple times. Each time it said I was using a “fraudulant” phone number. Then it locked me out for 24 hours. So I just used Circ scooters, which worked great.

Dear developers, if your goal is to get critical mass of users, fix your system so valid paying customers aren’t accused of fraud.

First time to ride something like this.. none really in the US.. I had fun .. parked in a better place than I found it.. people can be inconsiderate.. Thanks .. Fred

I gave Tiers another chance after a poor experience in October, and again TIER didn’t let me end my ride staying that “parking is full”. Then It doesn’t show you alternatives (a bug?). I wonder if their business model is monetizing riders inability to lock the ride. Avoid!!

Needs better maps, more details as to ways to go with over and under passes

I took the day pass so far in intervals of 45 min I was able to explore good part of Berlin

I can’t say anything about TIER , considering I just downloaded it. But. These scooters are sooo coool! 100% recommend to any adventure junky/ someone who wants to try new things.

An extremely fun way to get around.

If you change phone numbers and phone your original email address you used to setup payment is blocked from use in your new phone. In order to use TIER on a new phone you must come up with a new email address..

Thought it worked like other competitor’s App. It doesn’t. It books a ride according to the nearest this app you last checked. Thinking it needed to be scanned I walked to another and activated it, it unlocked the previous one and I didn’t ride it. Stole my money for no service. Use Uber or Lime, they work way better: scan and go.

I’m sure it’s a good scooter to ride on, however it wouldn’t take my credit card or my friend’s. I’ve seen people using it, and I’m just assuming that it doesn’t take American credit cards. If this could be fixed that would be much appreciated

I used to use TIER and loved riding the scooters. Now I upgraded my phone, and TIER lo Bolger has an option to log in... I can’t use it anymore.
I already contacted customer support. I’ll update my review when (if) the problem gets solved. For now, I started using a competitor.

Visiting Malmo we took the scooters to the beach to watch the sunset. After the sunset we could no longer rent the scooter and had to walk 30 minutes instead of a 5 minute scooter ride. Nowhere do we see that you can’t rent after 10 pm.

Tried multiple scooters, none which would go over 5 km/h. Scanned some scooters n get the prompt that it is out of battery though TIER said 88% battery life. The other scooter apps in the area actually work would recommend those first.

TIER will fail to end ride & keep showing no parking zone even when you are in the parking area or place where other scooters are parked. Was charged extra minutes whole looking for parking zone😠

Can’t login second time, it always requires to sign up, and when signing up it returns error that this email already in use

Fun way to get around.

Found a this app scooter, scanned the barcode and it said “this this app’s battery is low, find another this app” so I walked away... and then when I opened TIER again to find one on the map and saw that it’s charged me 2.50CFH for how far I’ve walked.

Two days in a row. The first day it made me stop trying for 24 hours. I just tried again and still fraudulent phone number

I got an error every time I tried to create and account with my US number
