UPDATE: After several back and forth e-mails with Customer Service, I learned you don’t HAVE TO subscribe to try it out. There is an exit X on the subscription banner to close it which I did not see, possibly due to the background colors and elderly eyes. I do not plan to subscribe because MusicZen has a lot of “bells and whistles” that I do not need. I just want to play soothing sounds for 10-15 minutes when my brain is having a hard time shutting down for sleep. I don’t think $35/quarter is cost prohibitive, but that’s a personal matter and different for each person. But I did appreciate the excellent and immediate customer service I received in their trying to resolve my issues. Rated 4 stars because nothing is perfect.

Price not $35/month, it’s $35/quarter. But you HAVE TO sign up for subscription to try it. I just wanted relaxing music to play before I go to sleep. Trying to make sure the subscription was cancelled was too difficult and I don’t appreciate the implied “I’ll forget to stop and they’ll get money” tactic. Maybe that’s not their hope but I’m in a bad mood today so that’s how it seemed to me. It’s probably an OK price if you want the product, but it’s more that I want.

This really was not a bad app at all I enjoyed some of the sounds and listened to them....though they were not free. So don’t get excited thinking that you are going to get a free stress relieving app just because it is in MusicZen Store...because it really is the complete opposite...you have to pay to hear “the good sounds” unless you want to sit and listen to static....or not even, I think that one was even money. Then I tried to get the free trial to give MusicZen one more shot and now I literally can’t, there is nowhere for me to go or click to cancel anything, and I am really scared the money will be taken off my debit card without me even knowing how to stop it, and it’s also like $40..... I don’t want to pay $40 to listen to a fireplace. So if someone could kindly respond telling me how to end my subscription I would very much appreciate it.

I love MusicZen, I love the music, meditation, and games. The games are actually very meditating and they are calming and fun to play. Everything calms you down wether if you are preparing for a test you can listen to this when you are anxious and or nervous. The only then that is not my favorite is that you would have to pay for a trial. I don’t like to pay and I usually end up deleting the apps that require a trial. However, overall, I love MusicZen so much and I have literally been on it for 30 minutes.

This really helps my anxiety and stress and I use it everyday! I love it and it’s a wonderful app for people like me who can’t handle all the stress and pain everyday! But I really wish that I didn’t have to do the subscription to get all the features, I don’t have much money and it’s way too freakin expensive to pay for... maybe if you had it where people could buy the pro version for $5.99 or something like that you’d get a lot more sales off of it and it would be more convenient for people who don’t have the money for the subscription. I know my idea sounds pretty stupid but could you maybe consider doing this in a future update?

Recently I’ve downloaded many relaxation apps, tried them, but didn’t find one better than this one. I did really like how can you control each part of the sound, and how clear and real the sound is.
What I didn’t like is the medication part, it had a lot of wasted time talk, that the user would like to get the medication only, not listening for a long time to a speech..
But I would like it even more if it had the feature of playing in the background in the iPhone.. it would be much easier and it could save the battery more.

I love MusicZen. It has lots of features that I use everyday. If you have stress-they have things for that; need gratitude-they cover that too.

One of the outstanding things is their customer service. I had a problem with my streak and I emailed them. I figured that I’d have to follow up a few times but no, they (Trent) emailed me right away. Within 24 hours, my issue was resolved!!

I love MusicZen, it’s very calming/relaxing and I love the controls on all the sounds. I’m very busy all the time and I have trouble sleeping so I love the features, but like many others have said it’s very expensive for an app and I would pay $4 a month or a one time purchase to use this. Unfortunately because of price I’m going to delete MusicZen , etc. MusicZen also doesn’t have that many features on it yet for almost $40 and all the other prices.
Thanks for a cool mind-soothing product but you may want to reconsider your pricing so more people will actually want to download this at a reasonable price.

So I haven’t explored it all yet but the first thing I selected was the games, and I thought the music game would be stupid then as I clicked it an the music started it o my sounds as you it it slowly putting the song together smoothly it is relaxing and makes you feel an awe as you continue threw an a focus which takes my mind off other things

MusicZen really helps me, and I have anxiety, so I calm down faster and it’s amazing.

I would totally make a five star review if they made it to where you don’t have to pay on some of them. Because people now are really stressed because of Covid-19 and some people don’t have enough money to be spending of whatever they want, but I still do like MusicZen .

This might have been an ad on Instagram a few weeks back that got me to download MusicZen . I forgot about it until today when I was looking for another app and decided to set it up. When I saw the $49 for three months, I immediately uninstalled it, even though I could have done the seven day free trial. The reason I didn’t do the trial is because after the 7 days my account would have been charged the $49. Although I could have set a reminder, I still would forget to unsubscribe.

If they lower the price to $7.99 or lower, I wouldn’t mind subscribing, but $49 is a bit steep.

It’s relaxing but it just puts adds about the premium version I don’t like it and it’s not very efficient to do that all the time plz stop it’s annoying and it’s not Pleasant to get that many adds this needs to stop I don’t want to sound like a Karen but come on I just want to do my thing

I want 2 like MusicZen a lot more than I do. Pros; unique with the relax video scenes & relaxing interactive music videos, looks beautiful. Cons; by far the BIGGEST is IT DOES NOT PLAY IN THE BACKROUND OR WHEN SCREEN IS LOCKED!!!! Devs, it’s 2019. I am deleting MusicZen 4 THIS REASON ALONE. Other con is PRICE. WAY 2 xpensive. & I’d h8 2 pay $ 4 it & it STILL doesn’t run in the backround! Good thing I’m not buying it bcuz NOWHERE in MusicZen description does it say whether a Premium version plays in the backround. I like this feature bcuz I use MusicZen jusf b4 sleep or on a walk & I just listen. Medit8ion apps USED 2 say whether they play in the backround or not in MusicZen description.

The visuals in MusicZen are aesthetically pleasing, the music is relaxing. Guided meditation has always made me uncomfortable or angry, but that’s a me problem and not MusicZen . Overall MusicZen is great, I like that it offers something for the full spectrum of human emotion. I wanted unlimited access, but the university system does not pay well, and paying 9.99 per week is completely asinine. There are similar products you can download with one time purchase, in app purchases, or a monthly subscription that are well under $40.

Such an amazing app for relaxations. Tried many apps but none of them fits but this is they only one app which I love to use multiple times in a day. This is the only app which I’ve not deleted yet and I’m sure I won’t do it ever!!
But it’s too expensive! Otherwise everything is perfect instead of not just good, but prices are very high and not everyone can afford it

MusicZen is good and it has helped me a lot.... back when most of the sounds were free to use. I used to listen to many of the sounds and now they all have the little jewel thing and I can’t enjoy it like before. Almost ALL of the sounds are not available if you dont have the subscription. I just wish it could return to the way it was before. Overall, a great app. Maybe allow more sounds to be free please.

I have been dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety and worry lately and it’s been really hard for me to calm down. When I saw an ad for MusicZen I immediately downloaded it. You can pay to have everything free, but it’s still very useful without paying. Thanks for creating MusicZen it has helped me so much in overcoming my stress and anxiety! Definitely a must download!!💫

I‘ve had MusicZen since the end 2019, I remember they had some free calming games and free songs/audio books you could listen too.
It really helped calm my anxiety and stop me from over stressing. It’s been a while since I’ve used it and decided, why not see what they might have added to it since I left!
when i tried to use it today, a subscription was shoved into my face…
I’ve had a good experience with MusicZen in the past so it’s not a one star.

App aggressively bombards you to sign up for costly subscription service to unlock most features. The limited free trial is very limited. After clicking through at least 8 different hurdles I was able to demo the popping bubble game and it sucked. Was not satisfying at all. You have to press really hard on the screen and you can only pop one bubble at a time. It’s more stressful than stress-relieving. Deleted MusicZen after 2 minutes. Not good enough for me.

10/10 must recommend! I love how it has a 3 step routine for you that adjusts based on how you feel. Calms me every night before bed! It’s apart of my routine for sure. I also love that they have a library of meditations & relaxation games that you can use at any time

When I looked at MusicZen, I was just like oh, It’s another crappy music thing that steals your money. But I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. I tried the limited version, and after a few days I was like, “wow! I have to get the unlimited version!” So I bought it, and I never regretted buying it.

This is the best app I have I have tried so hard to find an app to calm me down and help me sleep I love how they have so much I rate it 5 stars the ONLY thing I dislike is how you have to pay for most things but otherwise it’s an amazing app I promise if you get it you’ll love it when I got it I got it for a joke and then I played with it and fell in love with it ,it has so much the games are relaxing the sounds are calming i am loveing it I tried to delete it but the same night I could not sleep my body would not calm down I did everything I got it again and in about 10-30 min I was so tired it was just amazing I could keep going but imma stop here

I really like MusicZen although you do have to pay for some stuff there are still a lot of free stuff that you can use and MusicZen really works it can really calm your stress of course not right away but little by little and I really recommend it and just started using this today

I love MusicZen because it relieves my stress. I have a lot of it. It has a lot of many good features and it also has no ads. I’ve seen this a few times as an ad and thought it was really pointless just like the other apps. Turns out it was all worth it. And it’s free. 10/10 recommend.

I have so many apps on my phone that relate to sleeping and meditating. I think out of the many apps Music Zen is one of the most effective apps to help you sleep. It gives you a good amount of selections if you are not subscribed to upgradable promotion to redeem all features of MusicZen. Thats what I like about Music Zen!
