I was reminded today why I had deleted Changelly and completely stopped using their services when I was forced to either buy using them or miss out on a special deal… For whatever reason my linked Fiat Bank account stopped working, and so did my CC and Apple Pay, leaving just this company as the sole provider for Fiat to BTC(while on KuCoin).. Originally they were my top favorite company to use as an on-ramp exchange, better, safer, faster then anything else I have ever used. One day I started working on a new exchange and they offered this company’s services along side a few others so you could choose whom you wanted to use. Well every time I went to top-up my account with a monthly $150-$200 investment, they 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 $25+ each time! Nearly 𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 what the next highest offer was. Then I started noticing this exact same issue not just at that exchange but on all of the ones I’m using, and all of the wallets, and websites too. They are the WORST at how much they charge for providing the exact same service as Moon or MoonRiver or even CoinBase! What they are great at is Advertising, and that’s how they do it. Their ads are targeting NEW investors, the ones who haven’t seen or heard about them yet…

Where is my refund??

I made a mistake and misses the memo id on the transaction. This was my bad i know. I contacted this app through a support ticket and never really heard anything back other than an auto reply message so i went onto the live chat. The person on the chat was very helpful and let me know what they would need to process a refund. I proceeded to send them all of the required information and then some. I was told that this would be processed in 3-7 business days.
Well it is now the 9th business day and i have yet to recieve funds. I contacted on the 7th day and they said they would be right on it. I still have heard nothing and tomorrow will be 10 days since i filled refund. At this point my money is being held by this app and it is inhibiting my ability to access those funds and make investments cause me a loss of money. If someone does not contact me about this i will be forced to file a complaint with the CFPB and The BBB.
It is absurd that i was given a time line and they have almost doubled it with no contact or update to me.

At the time of this writing it’s been 15 hours since this app received my currency for exchange. You can see the transaction ID on the blockchain. What’s missing is the currency to my received address. And Changelly indicates my currency was never received when it most clearly was.

Email support (in broken English), says “sorry, you never included a mystery extra Id in the memo field” - which is not stated in Changelly , anywhere. Nor did they require this memo field in previous transactions. While support responded quickly, they showed a screen shot of the instructions ON THE WEBSITE. Useless. I even went to upgrade Changelly - no update , I have the latest app that allows this app to hold and float your crypto while they tell you they don’t have it. It’s only a matter of time until Apple steps in and delists Changelly from Changelly Store.

The correct user experience should be to UPDATE Changelly (which they haven’t yet) then not allow a user to continue using the old app.

I understand we are still in an evolving stage here… but if this app wants all of our money in transaction fees, they need to build better trust into their service. And this is horrible. They say wait seven days so someone can look at it and “hope for patience”????? Seven days is an eternity in crypto.

I’m hopeful they find my $25k otherwise I’m going to have to figure out some other measures.

I love this app. I access their website all the time. I wanted to love Changelly so much, but it’s super glitchy. I tried several times to add my payment method but kept getting a black screen. Prices aren’t always accurate. And when I try to switch to a different time frame on the charts, there is about a 30-second delay. There are other minor issues, but these are the most frustrating.

I gave three stars because this app doesn’t deserve anything less. This is a one-star app for a 5-star company. Their app is not a reflection of this app’s quality and reputation.

Changelly is still relatively new, and bugs/glitches are inevitable during the early stages. I will be keeping Changelly and adding to this review after future updates. In the meantime, I will continue to use their website.

I have seriously messed up a couple transactions while using this app’s exchange service and both times they have gone above and beyond in assisting me in fixing my mistake. I will recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a quality company to exchange crypto with.

this app is much more than just an crypto exchange service. I have received several informative emails from them regarding the crypto market that have really shed light on what is happening that is causing current volatility in the market . Above all, they are a calm, reassuring voice in the storm.

I want to leave a positive review.I made the mistake of sending 2 times the cryptocurrency to the same address, because of the lag in the wallet. The exchange was successful, but the second transfer went nowhere. I contacted the support service, the guys reacted immediately, and within 8 days they returned the second erroneous transaction back. Excellent service, I recommend it to everyone. I have been using their services since 2017.

Read the T&C’s for this shady conversion app. If their “magic” algorithm determines your transactions to be “suspect” in any way, they will HOLD YOUR COINS HOSTAGE until you...
1. Send photo of yourself and ID
2.Send proof of where you purchased or mined the coins
3. Send tax ID
Have fun with that second one. Paper trailing coins is nearly impossible for most including me. Also, refusal to explain why i was flagged.
If you cant or dont wish to do the above then say goodbye to your coins. I used Changelly for 3 transactions and was flagged. While they held my coins hostage the value of the trade changed considerably, in their favor.
I was firm that after this invasion of my privacy and more importantly holding my money hostage i wanted the original coins returned as i have no interest in using Changelly. They sent the trade through and told me it was already processed prior to the security check and was out of their hands. Hash data confirmed they traded it 10 minutes after my last email and security check. Liars!
Lastly, being based in Prague means no recourse if they just decide to keep your money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I downloaded and reviewed Changelly just to write this 1 star review. I was trying to exchange Bitcoin for LTC using this app through a hardware wallet. I thought it was a cool new feature and wanted to try it. Big mistake. The interface said the transaction should take 30 minutes, but it has been over 7 hours and I still don’t have my money. I’m talking with their support now. Do not make the same mistake as me. Steer clear of this app if you can. I’ll delete this review if this app reimburses me for my time and frustration.

Update: i got my money after 20 hours. this app blamed the delay on their exchange partner whom they refused to identify. They also refused to give me a gratuity for my troubles.

I sent $6k in BNB to BTC from trust wallet to voyager via this app, and it's been 22 hours, still no btc in my wallet. I've reached out to support and was told i'd hear back in 24-48 hours, which I doubt I will hear anything back. I will never use this app again. Do yourself a favor and find a different way to exchange your crypto.

- update, after reaching out to support, they were able to push my transaction through manually. I did receive my 11 BNB to my wallet. I will officially give this app 3 stars for almost giving me a heart attack, but it does work, and is not as bad as I painted out to be.

I've been using this app for three years and have never had one transaction go wrong. But the support team was quick to respond, and I had reply from the support girl in less than 20 minutes. this app is the largest cryptocurrency exchange for quick swaps with strong liquidity (which is critical in the cryptocurrency exchange market). Thank you very much, folks! You're the absolute greatest.

My first two exchange went through perfectly fine. The third one I tried to make something and I had to get live support to help me with my exchange. It took a week to finally get to. Just did another exchange sent the money and the transaction shows on this app side that it has failed to go through even though the money is gone from my account. Currently waiting for someone on customer support to respond back to me. If this gets resolved I will change my feedback or write another review, but this being the second time I’ve had an issue with this app.

I wanted to buy crypto using fiat but couldn't find a way to do so, so I contacted support. They responded quickly and walked me through the entire process. Marceline was kind and professional, and she patiently answered all of my inane inquiries. In the end, I was able to accomplish my goals, and the language barrier (english is not my first language) didn't hinder me too much.

this app needs to tell their customers that the best way to resolve issues faster is to use the live chat feature on their website as the ticket support system takes time and it’s frustrating! I had an issue with a transaction a coupla days ago, support ticket system was a waste of time. My issue was only resolved when I was directed to their live chat and I must say I was really impressed when my situation was taken care of in a matter of minutes.

Until this changes I’ll leave this as 1 star
It’s been over a month now since this app support has had all of my transaction information and I still have not gotten refunded my money.
Support says it’s waiting to hear back from their superiors, however week after week there is no update, no projected day by which they’ll resolve the matter, just a continual lack of answers and unknowns.
Can NOT recommend Changelly/company when after searching Google I found MANY similar stories as my own.
Maybe one day I’ll get my money back, the jury is still out....

I trade and buy crypto regularly but I feel like some places take too much off the top, and have extremely long transfer times. We’ll I’ve noticed with this app I get my crypto significantly faster and at a cheaper price compared to other apps I’ve used before. Definitely recommended! 5 stars is truly a understatement!

Since my initial transaction, I have never had a single major issue with this app. The changes were done swiftly (only one took more than 15 minutes to proceed). They're often adding new currencies to the list, and it's a wonderful way to learn about new altcoins, therefore I definitely suggest it to anybody looking for a new crypto trading platform.

The customer service are horrible and tell you need wait long long times and finally keep with your coins for your inner peace don't use this service, if you are in same boat call to apple support for report it!! ---- Update: Finally my transaction has been completed, this service have a great idea of exchange services but need very much improvement specially in the customer service area, maybe in the future can be better...

I have never had a single big issue with this app since my first purchase. The changes were made quickly (only one took more than 15 minutes to proceed). They constantly add new currencies to the list, and it's a great way to learn about different altcoins, therefore I highly recommend it to anybody seeking for a new crypto trading site.

It appeared to be trustworthy at first, until I tested it and the transaction failed. I assumed I had lost money and that this was a phishing site. Creating a support request and reading the answers, on the other hand, helped me relax. And I realized I'd made a blunder in the deal. After that, I took the proper processes, and the trade went smoothly.

It’s very helping in exchanging one crypto for another (especially if they are rare cryptos or don’t typically have a direct BTC/ETH/USD trading partner). Example - NEXO for USDC. But the transaction confirmation can be slow sometimes (hours or days rather than minutes). That’s not this app’s fault. It’s usually a slowness problem with the Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchain confirmation process, but it’s still less than ideal if u want a guaranteed quick crypto swap.

The best in the game hands down! The best fees in the game hands down. Very fast transfers. Just wish they had more crypto then they currently have even though they have a heavy amount.

It’s a been a great app so far. Fast and secure way to exchange digital currency and support ready to help any time with queries. Must have app for me now In this digital currency world. 💯

Changelly is quick and usually works.
A few issues. Changelly gives an automatic message when exchanging just saying that “Once ETH is confirmed in blockchain, we’ll start exchanging it to BTC” no matter what you’re exchanging. Changelly def needs updating. But it’s fine all-in-all.

Changelly is a very convenient companion to the this app website. My only complaints are that the price chart data is wrong - lower point on graph reports higher price than a higher point on the graph.

I'm new to crypto and it was a bit tricky for me at first to understand how to use Changelly, but now I see that it's much easier than any other ones! 

At the moment this is my favorite exchange app. Better than anything I had used before for sure.

So simple to convert. It'd be great if you add signing up via email as on the web version to see the full history of my transactions. 

This exchange is faster than the speed of light! I didn't expect to get my coins within 7 minutes after approving the transaction. Rad!

A really fast app with fixed rates that can even be used by those who know nothing about crypto

Bought my first BTC with a credit card through Changelly. And I can positively say I will be back to buy more!

Fast exchange, low fees and fixed rates. Using Changelly almost as often, as the web version.
