I received a response from the developer and the issue is now fixed! The pricing is fantastic!
I contacted the developer via email about a week ago with no response. When clicking the settings menu (upper left hand corner 3 lines) StoryShotsBookSummaries freezes. I have no way of accessing this menu. My friend also has the same issue.

I have enjoyed quite a few book summaries on StoryShotsBookSummaries , and the overall selection of titles is impressive. However, some of the “main shot” summaries feel like some random person’s biased opinion of the content instead of an actual book synopsis. I hope the administrators will work on keeping the content true to the books being reviewed and less of the opinionated rants I’ve come across.

When I first downloaded StoryShotsBookSummaries 10 of the initial 20 books were ones that I’ve already read/listened to on Audiobook. StoryShots consolidates all the main lessons from the books and let’s you learn based on your preferred style (auditory, visual or written) and it’s free!!!!!!

I’m not one for hyperbole, but I’ve been using StoryShotsBookSummaries non-stop since I got it. I never listened to audiobooks before, and now I’m totally into them. A huge selection of great titles, they add more all the time. One small qualm is I wish I had the option to hide titles I have no interest in (certain political titles). Keep up the great work!

I really enjoy StoryShotsBookSummaries because it is different...You can listen or watch a video plus many of the books are discussions... I listen to many apps and this has multiple option to learn from.
We all learn a different ways and this one is amazing love it..

I love StoryShotsBookSummaries , love the free even with the add, but I’m unable to close them out when they reappear and find myself constantly restarting StoryShotsBookSummaries if I want to exit an audiobook and move to another. Not convenient to do when multitasking. Otherwise, I’d give all stars. Love love love this.

Just downloaded but StoryShotsBookSummaries keeps freezing, and I have to restart each time. Can’t open the setting on left upper side. Several other flaws. Compared to Blinkist, the user friendliness of StoryShotsBookSummaries is 2/10 if Blinkist is 10.

Great app to have on while driving, walking or couldn’t read the book, but you want to get main Ideas of books in a short time. I listen to a couple books while headed to work, it’s useful and makes me learn new things every day

I was looking for something like this. I want to read books on personal development but really do not have time to read too many books. StoryShotsBookSummaries provides the Key ideas of a book so basically in a short time.

Amazing app to get through the key points of bestseller books. You can often get all the info you need without going through pages and pages. It's great you can Watch book's animated summary as well as reading the summary and listen to the podcast.

You guys make my life easier. Now I am able to participate in conversation and bookclub without reading the whole books. Now I can get the summary of a book before diving in to see if I will like it. Thanks a lot. Looking forward for new books that you will add.

Story Shots. I gotta say. Thank you for giving me so many insights from so many books. I learn so much daily now because of all of you and it’s just amazing. I’ve tried blinkist and other apps but hell you guys are amazing. I bought premium just to support your mission and I’m loving it

I using Storyshots to decide whether or not I want to purchase books. StoryShotsBookSummaries is far better than the free sample chapters given on Kindle. It's easy to use and Free. I love the video summaries of Books, they Are awesome

Visually impaired persons could greatly benefit from using an app such as StoryShots. I am visually impaired. StoryShots does not work efficaciously with VoiceOver. Although the visually impaired could benefit the most from such an app, it is denied them! And, where is the customer support contact information? Certainly it is there.

Developer: will you fix these issues quickly!?

Shameful discrimination

StoryShots helps me increase my language skill by animation, podcasts and book text summary. Exactly what everyone needs to learn English! besides that, it has a lot of information about the Bestsellers, I have learned so much already!

It’s not the same as reading a book but u get the gist. App for the new gen readers. Encountered a couple of bugs but the team were right on the top of it.

Outside of the fact that the UI is atrocious, opened a book summary and finally had to force close StoryShotsBookSummaries to get back to the main screen. I paid for a premium subscription but it doesn’t show in app (though it shows on my iPhone so Apple shows I paid) . And impossible to figure out how to fix that without sending emails. Really?

I can find well-written book summaries in every topic that interests me. The animated summaries are a huge plus as well.
In this dynamic age where new ideas are upending the existing business structures, StoryShotsBookSummaries comes in handy as a source to enrich yourself with great knowledge.

I’ve tried lots of other book summary apps with fancy layout but underwhelming content. But this one is by far the best in terms of content. Keep up the great work!

Although asking for more content and books is definitely a thing you can work on, but even the current books can't be easily explored. For ideas on UX and design you can take a look on popular apps around books like how audible and Goodreads allow users to take a look at the library.
A better UX would mak3 this rockstar!

There are many apps that have the same idea, but storyshots is for free, unlike others where you have to pay to listen. Thanks a lot story shots!
