Madden NFL 24 Companion Reviews

Seriously guys.... why is it so incredibly difficult for you guys to put together a functional app? I have had to delete and reinstall MaddenNFL24Companion four times just to try and clear out the fact that the only search that I can do in the auction house is for Lamar Jackson. Basically I tried to bid on a Lamar Jackson the auction ended in when I press the button to find similar it has now embedded Lamar Jackson into external search algorithm and there is absolutely no place for me to remove it. Again I have deleted and reinstalled three times it is beyond frustrating because MaddenNFL24Companion has so much potential could be so useful if you did things like allow us to add cards to sets and things like that or quick sell them or sell them for training it would be fantastic you you would get a lot more usage. Also since we’re going on your three now if you could’ve figured out a way to add purchasing packs your revenue with skyrocket. But we can’t even get the simple things out of you so perhaps some time in 2035 you guys will figure some of this other stuff out.

Hey Team,

Just wanted to say great job on MaddenNFL24Companion but due to the latest update there’s a bug where it shuts my app down completely. I have an iPhone 12 Pro with the latest firmware. When it does happen is when I’m clicking on a card that has sold in my auctions to look for another one. The wheel spins and then it stops and MaddenNFL24Companion shuts down completely. Hopefully you guys can figure this out soon as I use this feature to see what the current price of a card that has sold w/o searching for it and also being able to buy another and post it quickly is a huge time saver rather than clicking search and inputting all the card details. Thanks and hope for a fix soon!!

The Madden Companion App is very helpful for improving your team on the go. But, I have some suggestions that I want EA to consider.
1. Trade Block: The option to post trades and make trade offers would be very convenient and many people would use it.
2. Store: EA should also consider adding a store to MaddenNFL24Companion because some people are not able to access their console/PC during limited store options and EA would make more money off of a store too.
3. Sets: Sets would be another great addition to the companion app. I have found myself wishing that I could complete a limited time set that I forgot on the go, and haven’t been able to complete it.
With all that said, the Madden Companion App is a great app overall but I hope EA considers some of my suggestions. Thank you and have a great day 😁

As a heavy MUT player being able to use the Auction House on my phone is a blessing (and a curse sometimes lol). I love the integration and love how the coins go right back instantly as opposed to playing on console where you have to back out of your bidding and go back in for the coins to reset.

Glitchy and doesn’t load properly sometimes yes, but that’s with a lot of apps in general so it is what it is. Only real gripe is the dumb verification that comes up from time to time. Sometimes, it comes up unusually frequently and I have to solve that puzzle while I’m mid-auction (which then I sometimes lose because of it) not the end of the world here but a little annoying for sure.

Look, MaddenNFL24Companion doesn’t make EA any money. I don’t think there’s anywhere on it that you can give them more of your money. So, it’s gonna be even worse than the full Madden 20 game... that’s saying something. If they aren’t fleecing you for money then they aren’t gonna spend much time on it... although, they don’t spend much time improving Madden either so I just proved myself wrong. When it’s working you can check a small handful of things in auction etc but that’s it. If it’s stuck on loading, which is very often, then you have to close MaddenNFL24Companion and redo... save yourself the purchase (it’s free) and don’t get it. Just sayin’.

MaddenNFL24Companion is SUPER useful if your main mode is ultimate team in madden 20. Whenever your not on the game, you can just get on MaddenNFL24Companion and sell players and buy players on the auction house. It’s also very useful if you have bid on a player but let’s say the bid has 5 more hours, you can check regularly on MaddenNFL24Companion to see if your winning the bet, and MaddenNFL24Companion allows you to put custom amounts of coins on bets. I would definitely recommend MaddenNFL24Companion. But I think the developers of MaddenNFL24Companion should add a feature to where you can do sets in the companion app for ultimate team. That would also be super useful.

I have a madden ultimate team so I got this application. When it was done downloading I opened it. When I opened it it showed the ea sports logo as any other ea app should then it said if you would like to enable notifications. Then it said to accept the user agreement and the privacy and cookie policy and I accepted it. Then I logged into my PlayStation account because that’s what I play madden on. PS5. Then I click ultimate team but then I just keeps loading and then after a while of loading the application freezes. Then I close the application and open it again but then something weird happens. My account isn’t signed in. So I click sign in but then the same thing happens it was just loading and loading and after a while of waiting MaddenNFL24Companion froze again. Please update MaddenNFL24Companion!!!!!

The very first time I opened MaddenNFL24Companion to look at the MUT features I was met with “There is a problem communicating with Madden NFL servers,” and I knew from there my experience was going to be a tragedy. And was I right.

MaddenNFL24Companion doesn’t work more than it does work. I haven't been able to use it for over three days; it’s almost like you have to get lucky and hope it’ll be working when you decide to open it, or check to see if it’s working every 5 minutes. I can guarantee that I’ve spent more time trying to use MaddenNFL24Companion than I have ACTUALLY USING IT.

EA gives this free app less time and effort than they do their actual game. Except I’m actually content with getting screwed over for free since Madden screws you over the exact same ways for $60: Servers don’t work, UI is clunky (always) and unresponsive (at times). You can’t even downgrade cards to sell from MaddenNFL24Companion , you have to do it in the game FIRST and then you can sell on MaddenNFL24Companion (why???)

MaddenNFL24Companion is a complete mess and it is much faster to just use the game menus that are bad but actually work rather than putting in the effort to even attempt to open MaddenNFL24Companion. More likely than not you are going to be met with an error.

I believe MaddenNFL24Companion isn’t to helpful with growing you ultimate team. I understand that we can’t play games since it’s and app but if we had sets we could actually use the ultimate team part of MaddenNFL24Companion . This is where I grow my team from and I’m not really interested in the other game modes and I feel like sets would be a great addition! Also I believe that you should let the store be opened so players could open packs without needed to be on their console. This would be a great addition because t could provide a real way to make coins from MaddenNFL24Companion and I highly suggest that you should add both of these!

MaddenNFL24Companion is a great way to manage my team when I’m away from the console and it makes a lot of things very convenient. It is only missing a few things.
1. The ability to view your lineup. This is a key piece missing from MaddenNFL24Companion . It’s hard to make decisions on adjustments when you can’t see your active lineup
2. Trade block. We already have the auction house. If you guys add this MaddenNFL24Companion would be complete
3. Sets. The ability to complete sets from MaddenNFL24Companion would be the icing on the cake to make MaddenNFL24Companion perfect

I’ve had MaddenNFL24Companion since last year and unfortunately there have been no changes to MaddenNFL24Companion . I was hoping that this year you would update MaddenNFL24Companion and give us the ability to manage our line-up. I also think we should be able to upgrade and downgrade players. Why can’t we add to sets??? Or open packs?? All of these features should have been added this year. Instead you used the same system for Madden 22. I think if all of these features were added and the auction system on MaddenNFL24Companion was fixed it would easily get 5 stars.

I know 90% of the people that use MaddenNFL24Companion use it for the MUT side of it.. but we are over 2 months into the launch of the game and this hasn’t been fixed. If you click into one of your leagues, it will tell you you are in the correct week, but when you click on the “sim a win” for the weekly schedule.. it is 2 weeks off and has been all year. Very frustrating and inconvenient when running 32 man connected franchises while also working. Please it can’t be a hard fix and would make us CFM people’s lives so much easier

This is a brilliant idea that was executed poorly. When I saw that they created MaddenNFL24Companion, I was excited. I figured they had actually come up with a good idea, but apparently EA believes they should only put their “time and effort” into the game of madden. EA is not doing anything to help this growing community. We all have been waiting for a game similar to NBA 2K as far as the career game mode is. But this is about MaddenNFL24Companion , not the game itself. They need to put time and effort into something that actually matters, and that’s making this an enjoyable app for all madden players. At this rate, I’m so happy that EA’s contract with the NFL is almost up, I want 2K to fix this broken game and make it what it was supposed to be.

MaddenNFL24Companion is a fantastic thought. But like many things done by EA & Madden, they just put “beta” on anything new as an excuse to any potential issues.

When it’s working, it’s awesome. Wish I could open packs, or quicksell cards or complete sets. But just being able to sell cards in my binder at the airport is good enough.

The problem:

I’ve been trying to login all day. It worked this morning actually. But since roughly 9am? Well if I try to search a card it will tell me “CRITICAL ERROR” and if I try to go to my binder MaddenNFL24Companion just crashes. I tried to login on my work phone too. Same issues incurred.

I’d say MaddenNFL24Companion actually works rightly 55% of the time. When it works it’s extremely slow and clunky. Very poor interface.

But it does what it’s set out to do. I never accidentally sell a card for less. It actually shows you recent sale prices which you can’t even find within the game.

It’s a good idea, it’s just worse than ideal execution.

Ever since my madden companion app updated to version 21.1.3, I have not been able to access my Xbox account on MaddenNFL24Companion . When I sign in with my EA credentials, it signs me into an account that is not associated with my EA account. There is no option to change your persona to your actual account, therefore I cannot access my MUT team from MaddenNFL24Companion . No other accounts are linked to my EA account so this should not be happening. Deleting MaddenNFL24Companion doesn’t work, changing Email doesn’t work, nothing. It’s been almost 3 weeks now with no update on this fix and many mut players are left not being able to use the companion app. Very diss appointed and hope for an update soon.

Yes, I like the ability to sell and buy cards in the companion but let’s talk about all the glitches MaddenNFL24Companion has I log in I have to accept the terms and conditions when I press accept it doesn’t function. When I try to sell a card my screen turns black which i have to reset app. Now this one needs to be fixed asap I try to sell a card I have to verify every-time I press something when I already verified! app has been very laggy but MaddenNFL24Companion has positives but lots of negatives/glitches that need to be fixed than its a at worst 4.5 star game

As far as MaddenNFL24Companion I love having it while I’m not home. I’m able to sell players and buy players for the team. As well as look up players I maybe am interested in. The only thing I wish was better was the depth of being able to buy/sell. I wish I could quick sell stuff for training through here and or buy packs that are currently in store. Pretty much all the stuff you can do on x box (in my case) except for playing. Other than that. It’s a pretty cool app to keep track of your MUT team

I enjoy the value that MaddenNFL24Companion offers me as a long time madden player. Being able to access the auction house at anytime of the no matter my location is a extremely enjoyable experience. While on the other hand I get my access gets resisted multiple times not allowing me access the auction house which really is not a enjoyable experience. The fact even after I solve the robot test multiple times I am still not allowed access to the auction house is really annoying.

Okay guys, really, how hard is it to release an app in 2019 that doesn’t crash every other time you use it? MaddenNFL24Companion truly is useful when it’s working, but certain features seem to be totally forgotten about by the devs, for example; since it’s release (couple months ago now), attempting to search for a player in the auction house by name simply does not work, and more often than not just crashes MaddenNFL24Companion all together. I can excuse the occasional bug here and there, but EA, YOUR APP IS UNUSABLE, there is no excuse for a company of YOUR SIZE, with the resources YOU HAVE, to release these apps half-assed and forget about them.

App keeps saying I haven’t joined any LG YET and I’m the COMMISSIONER! Plus it’s just to much trouble and issues having to download the stats,rosters, info to see online thru Gamerhuddle. The commish app was better in the other one. How bout making it where we can do ALL OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE STUFF JUST IN MaddenNFL24Companion ITSELF THIS IS VERY VERY FRUSTRATING ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO DO LG STUFF AND YOU CANT GET IN. Totally cray y’all. Fix this and leave out 3rd party we don’t need all that. #simplicityplease

And the companion app has WRONG WEEK SHOWING. It’s Two weeks ahead and doesn’t show the SCORES can you send out UPDATE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM PLEASE DONT HESITATE WITH THIS ITS NEEDED FOR COMMISONERS TO BE ACCAND RUN LG MOBILY.

Great new features especially for a MUT player like me, but it’s still pretty unstable, even for BETA. It seems to not work for days at a time. Not sure if it can’t keep pace with all the madden software updates this year or what. Outside of that, the features are pretty good. Although, I wish we could upgrade/downgrade player cards to make them auctionable in MaddenNFL24Companion . At least the chems. Currently cards with chems can’t be sold in MaddenNFL24Companion unless you go to the console first and remove them. Somewhat defeats the purpose and convenience of the companion app.

I thinks it fantastic that you can buy and sell cards from MaddenNFL24Companion and even see what a particular card has been selling for recently. However, sometimes it takes several minutes just to load in a couple of filters and sometimes MaddenNFL24Companion won’t even allow you to load into the Ultimate Team mode. Other than the buggies though MaddenNFL24Companion is incredible.

It shouldn’t be hard in 2019 to have an app that doesn’t crash every 3-4 minutes. When MaddenNFL24Companion is mostly used for auctions and the auction requires fast bidding and you crash during that bid, you lose out on what you were doing. The staff should be ashamed to have such an unstable program.

Update: so it gets worse. Eventually the game forces you to verify you are a real person. Of course it does this about 5 times a day which is a complete joke and often when you are in the middle of bidding. If it wasn’t for the extra info in MaddenNFL24Companion that isn’t in the game this would be a zero star review.

Theres so much potential for MaddenNFL24Companion. The addition of the auction house is great, but MaddenNFL24Companion is so slow it almost makes you cringe. It throws so many error codes for being unable to connect, and will claim to “search for a stable connection” but in all reality will never find one, even if youre on wifi, and just make you sit there wasting your time staring at a loading screen. I never write reviews but ive wasted so much time waiting on MaddenNFL24Companion to load for it to just time out that i had to atleast save one person the time.

MaddenNFL24Companion is good for knowing where you are at as well as being able to advance and toggle auto pilot remotely. MaddenNFL24Companion is very close to being able to eliminate the need for other apps. No chat mode? No ability to look at rosters or make trades/sign and release players. Does another company have to make a football game to light a fire. EA is the best out there, kinda seems like complacency has set in at the expense of the users. Managing CFMs is difficult and MaddenNFL24Companion could be responsible for evolving the CFM community to where it should be at this point. Please.....please.

I downloaded to purchase and resell cards for MUT. It mostly works, but I clicked on Auction to list a card and never got a screen to set auction details. Instead, MaddenNFL24Companion automatically listed the card that I had just purchased (price of 9500 coins) for 150 coins (the lowest possible price). I complained to EA, and they told me that they couldn’t do anything for me. They promised a call back from a supervisor, and I never received a call back. I saw a card worth 200k coins go for 150 coins, and I’m guessing it was the same glitch. I lost ~10k coins from one bad transaction, do not trust MaddenNFL24Companion to list anything in auction for MUT.

I play madden ultimate team a lot on Xbox and I use MaddenNFL24Companion to look at my team and bid on players but I’ve started to notice that after using MaddenNFL24Companion for a while MaddenNFL24Companion just loses connection. This issue happens a lot, it’s not my WiFi connection. It just randomly loses connection. But it’s really frustrating when I’m trying to bid on players and I’m trying to get a player at the last second and MaddenNFL24Companion “loses connection”. Please EA fix this issue, it’s an app with a lot of potential.

I like MaddenNFL24Companion even through its crashes but I feel restricted on to what I can do I want to be able to upgrade power ups quick sell cards do sets go to the madden store and use the trade block please add these features and fix the crashes and MaddenNFL24Companion will be a success

MaddenNFL24Companion is extremely helpful the other reviews are way to unfair I am not a robot and I started a franchise with my friends and I am the group commissioner and I can simulate from my phone or do anything from my phone I usually do not write reviews on things but I needed to for MaddenNFL24Companion because it’s a great app and the other reviews are unfair.

App crashed routinely. Unable to access servers due to critical error frequently. Need to be able to adjust players and the power ups so you can ad and take off those to be able to sell. Have ability to sell cards for training/coins in app. Did I mention CONSTANT crashes and repetitive “verifications” needed. Very annoying but when app functions like a normal app it is very helpful to build your team. My team has improved drastically because of MaddenNFL24Companion but also MaddenNFL24Companion has cost me quite a few good players due to several of these issues.
