Used to be great until they completely changed their mission

I joined this app from the beginning and launched my own art collective straight off of the site by connecting with creators across the globe. I recommended friends and made sure to advertise the platform to everyone I knew. I hadn’t logged in for awhile since they started their knock-off Clubhouse design in beta testing - I really didn’t like that the new addition came at the expense of the original workspaces. Now it seems they’ve deleted all of my projects and written/audio works from my profile (some of which I will never get back) without any kind of heads up that these features were going away. I’ve now lost connections to other creators and lost my art as well. As a creator, losing my hard work and creations guts me.

This used to be a place to connect with people to collaborate on projects. Now it’s just a glorified Clubhouse app. You’d be better off finding something else at this point.

Fantastic concept, app is lacking fundamentals

I will use Daisie once some glitches get fixed. Having to search outside of Daisie on a regular browser is a deal breaker for me at this point. Also, could not save after entering in my website url under my profile. Keep working! I had the idea to start this at one point, but I’m glad someone else is executing!

Where are the “90+ monthly online classes”

Daisie looks sleek and the classes look great. But they advertise that there are “90+ monthly online classes” but I don’t see anything even close to that number. For the live classes I see maybe a handful of classes for the next two weeks (doesn't show anything further)

And then In what I guess is the on demand section (the sleek minimal style of Daisie does lead to little confusion tbh) there are even less. Some categories even only have one class.

I’m a working artist and yet there maybe one or two classes that actual interest me and I can’t make them cause they are live classes. And I don’t even know if they will be on demand after since not all classes will be on demand and they don’t tell you which ones. They don’t even tell you how long the live classes are just when they start.

Great potential but annoying for an app that advertises a wide selection of classes and flexible scheduling to actually be limited and pretty rigid.

Best Online Art School

this app is the best online art school for anyone’s schedule and level of interest. Live zoom workshops are provided by top artists from every genre and you can check the calendar on the easy to navigate home page to sign up for workshops. If you want to network and collab with other artists then you can connect via rooms, profiles and also in the workshop chats. As a beta tester in January ‘21 I’m really impressed with how great the this app App looks and functions. 5 stars.

Great app cool design

I have been a member on this site app for over a year and I must say it’s a breath of fresh air it’s different and they always update its is getting better every day you can connect with other indie pro or none pro creators in may creative fields work on projects build relationships and even learn it’s a true community is decentralized and I hope it stays that way Tha is the over all uniqueness it has and he at you present yourself as a artist is really cool.

Was better before when it was centered on collaboration

This is a really amazing concept however. I don’t think anyone can deny that art education with a personal element is something often inaccessible to people. But I’m not sure either how well this does the job of solving that problem, for one (since on the internet it’s technically true a person can learn anything they set their mind to). And secondly, now more than ever it’s the long distance enabled collaboration that is so valuable. I can find a video anywhere

Design good but there is space for improvements

Hey, I just installed Daisie and just at first glance what I saw is that you don’t have any kind of verification for emails I added invalid email address and I was able to sign in, also after that I tried to log in with that invalid email and I was able to. Also while looking through the profile I expect to be able to change my profile photo but I am not able to even if I go to Settings/Edit your profile I can’t change profile picture.

Polishing

I love Daisie concept and I know Daisie navigation will most likely improve so I look forward to using this app as it develops more. A few things I’d like to see are; a search bar, the ability to adjust where I am in a track/podcast while I listen, and a separation of project I have previously visited and new unseen projects. I love the paneling of each type of art. I love the lack of a follow count. I love the tools Daisie provides to connect artist with one another to create super cool things :)

Great concept, execution needs work

Really like the concept but there are a lot of bugs. I was trying to set up my profile but I couldn’t add any photo for the profile pic. I’d click it and it would just hang, wouldn’t open the photo app. I also tried to add a bio and website to my profile but every time i exited it never saved. I hope this helped and i hope Daisie works out. This seems like a great idea.

Not bad but..

I started using Daisie the day it launched. Was a bit glitchy but I loved it. Was able to share my projects and such. Took a break and I came back to a completely different app. Feels very different then Daisie at launch. Thought it was a completely different one.

Having a little trouble

I’m having trouble reading messages from collaborator requests. There doesn’t seem to be an intuitive way to read the whole comment or chat. I follow back, but am still having trouble viewing messages. A little help please?

Not the concept, but the app

I used the beta for this app and honestly it’s a good platform because people post stuff with the same mindset, help collaborating. I already came in touch with two others and am waiting for them to send their tracks. However Daisie is lagging so much that I don’t want to use it. Many bugs and thus Daisie needs to be fixed because otherwise, people are just gonna go away.

Love this concept

Brilliant idea! Well executed. Daisie is a little narrower than I would like in terms of ease, accessibility and function in comparison to the website. I would love to see a location feature that allows you to narrow down/search for projects in your area.

By

Absolutely love the concept

Would love to give this the rating it could become, but I’m unable to upload any of my work. It just simply doesn’t upload. Other than that I strongly desire to see this collaborative app take off big time. I could see a lot of great things, great projects, great collaborations coming out of Daisie.

?

my friend recommended Daisie to me; I thought it was a good choice. then I put in my email. it said the email had already been taken by another user. how..? I don’t think it’s possible for someone to have the same email as me. if you can, I would like to see this work. thank you for your time!

Go Maisie!!!

I love Daisie! I love seeing everyone freely expressing themselves! I’m sure the bugs will get worked out in time. Let’s be patient and continue to put ourselves out there! Thank you to the creators who made this happen, and thanks to Maisie for getting it done in 8X3!

Can’t get past the main 3 category pages

I’m so excited for Daisie and it’s so cool, but before I can even put more energy into exploring it, and other’s projects, the bugs need to be fixed. I can’t get past the few pages and it’s beyond frustrating trying to reopen it. Still, it lunched, but I feel this is a soft launch. It needs some serious work, but still very excited!

Confusing and useless

Does Daisie even allow you to post new content or just browse? I can't find any way to edit existing projects or post new ones. It seems like you can only view stuff and follow people. The old app had more functions. If those things are still possible then Daisie hides them and doesn't make it clear at all how to find them

Pictures

Just make it so you can zoom in on pictures.

Garbage

this app is actual garbage and I wish I could give it 0 stars. It is clunky, boring and now after years of "development" utterly useless as a platform because you can't even post your work. If you are a creative looking to connect with other artists please do yourself a favor and connect through spaces like Facebook or Instagram. Joining Daisie is a total waste of time and energy.

Needed App

I love the concept with Daisie, trying to bring creatives together and I honestly believe it deserves way more users! The only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars right now is because I do think it needs to grow more and figure out a strategy to encourage even more collaborations between its users.

Amazing Potential

Daisie has the potential to be the future of collaboration but it needs an update just to improve quality and functionality. Believe in you Maisie!

A great start.

As a fellow creator and artist, I am very pleased with Daisie and can honestly say it’s the best of its kind. Yes, there will be a few mishaps but it’s a new app and I’m sure they will be cleared with time. Thank you Maisie for creating such an amazing platform for us to collaborate on!

Love it!

Love Daisie ! Had no issues and so cool to see all the creative things people post and being able to have an outlet like this! 10/10 recommend

Nice concept but confusing

I really like the idea of Daisie but I’m having a hard time navigating.

I also don’t understand how to use my profile properly or view others to its fullest extent. Maybe a tutorial or something to explain how to use Daisie .

Good app, tricky to get the hang of

It takes a little bit to get familiar with Daisie, but once you do you’ll love it!

The concept is great but too many bugs

I want to love Daisie but the bugs are making it hard. Some of my posts are double posting, posting without the images attached or the images are attached but in the wrong order no matter what order I attach them in which makes selecting my main image I want to display impossible. If you forget to select a tag or make a typo there is no way to edit and correct it. Also deleting post is not working no mater how many times I select to delete it. Part of the search feature pulls up an error message. I get a lot of these kinks will be worked out and of course because Daisie is new you guys are going to have issues here and there once all these things are fixed people will be able to enjoy Daisie so much more.
