I laugh at the bad reviews.
I have used square for years and run multiple business. While I do wish they would go down on their fees, I wouldn’t use another invoicing app as of right now. It’s really easy to use, have an invoice or estimate emailed within two minutes if you have it set up correctly. These bad reviews about square holding money is probably shady contractors that are getting charge backs. I wish all shady contractors would shut down and go work at McDonald’s. It makes us all look bad. Especially those us of with integrity. Square is great when you use it correctly, just like anything else. Get it and you won’t regret it.

The best.
Clean, very low learning curve, very, very well thought out. Whenever I think “I wonder if I can do xyz” it’s there. I’ve used others. I compare to Billing Orchard online, which I used for years waiting on an app, and Square is so far beyond and mostly free. The app thinks ahead already knowing what I want. Five stars is warranted and I haven’t even used all of the features yet which means it’s future proof. For now it’s just one person serving and consulting but in the future as I add team members this company and app will grow with me.

Loving it
Basically it’s pretty quick to send an invoice to my clients. Also love the ability to customize the look and feel according to my taste. Estimates is a huge boom as well. But by far deposits is the biggest feature that my business will benefit from because I don’t want to start an order without seeing my client out down some amount first. Only thing is that at 144MB this takes up some space. Not a huge problem coz I just bought a new iPhone XR.
