What is Online Check In? Sport Clips' Online Check In lets you "Get in line, online" for your next haircut. After you check in, you'll receive an approximate time for your haircut so you can wait where you want before you head to the store. Why should I use online check in? We always take walk-ins, so you don’t have to check in if it’s not for you. We want to make your next haircut as convenient as possible, and using the online check in system allows you to get your name on the line up so by the time you arrive at the store, you’ll be “at bat” or “on deck” for your haircut How does online check in work? Download the app. Go directly to the main check in page, allow Sport Clips to find your location (or enter your zip code), and select your preferred store from the map, then click the “check in” button. The first time you check in online, you will be asked to create an account. How do I know what time to arrive at the store? After you complete the check in process, you’ll be given an approximate time to arrive at the store. So, depending on where you are and how far you are from the store, make your travel plans accordingly. What do I do when I get to the store? Once you arrive, check the wallboard mounted near the front counter and look for your name (first name, last initial) and let us know you have arrived by quickly checking in at the check in kiosk – or let the team members know that you have arrived. Then, have a seat and you’ll be up soon. If you don’t see your name, be sure to ask for a Stylist to verify your online check in and make sure you’re officially in line.

Not a problem
Not sure why others have had problems. App works fine, doesn’t really need all the bells and whistles. It’s straightforward and it functions as it should. Not the apps fault of stylists are done faster or may take longer. That’s the human element that really can’t be de-bugged. It would take away from customer service just to have a stylist update while they are with a customer. They can’t constantly run to the computer every 2 seconds to update their time. So what would you have a time frame within 5-10mins or good service. I choose the latter. I guess a picture of the stylist would be great so you always know who you have, that did confuse me once when I thought I had my normal stylist which I didn’t have under my favorite yet. Other than that it’s great. Bug adjustments as normal and updates are always coming out so thank you.

Stylist at Sport Clips Myself
As a stylist who works for Sport Clips myself, the idea of the app is helpful, it’s not 100% quite yet but it does work and it is helpful. Sometimes it will give you wrong wait times (not by much) or sometimes it won’t let you check in, but feel free to give us your feedback and we can let our owners know! I love how it especially gives you wait times for specific stylists but it won’t let you choose that stylist if they have over a two hour wait time (which is fair because our stylists need time to breathe!) also, if your stylist does not get their until a later time it will NOT let you check in with them until they clock in, your best bet is to walk in about 15 min before that time they are scheduled and say you want that specific stylist and the stylist should assist you and you should be in no time :) Has a few kinks, but don’t worry.

Decent App but could still use some tweaking!
Decent app. It can be a bit quirky at times. In a couple instances I’ve had it not let me check in and once it did check me in and didn’t confirm it. I found out 15 minutes later when I went back into the app and tried to check in again. It wouldn’t let me and I realized I was actually already checked in from the first attempt. I appreciate that it allows me to choose the stylist I want. However I would really like to be able to find out which stylists Cut my hair in previous appointments (when I chose “first available”). That way, if I really liked a stylist from a previous appointment but didn’t get their name, I could go back and see who it was and request them for future appointments. Otherwise, the app is helpful and does allow for a relatively easy check in and less wait time in the salon.
