I’ve used it with multiple friends and it’s great when you’re apart — you can literally show everything that’s on your phone and laugh about dating app matches and watch videos together. I think an improvement would be to be able to control the sound of the screen that is being shared. When I watch videos with friends I cannot hear them when we watch videos and the video is too loud to be bearable anyway (especially in headphones). If it would be possible to have this control Squad would probably be flawless in my opinion. Will continue using it with my friends gladly!!

I a agree with the previous rater that this app has great potential beyond social media. In addition to academia, it can be used by real estate agents to show details of listings without their clients going to the agent’s office. Repair people may find it useful.
The phone and split-screen functions work quickly and well. The phone function appears to work quicker than FaceTime. Setting up a view of the caller’s screen is easy.
I have a problem moving between views on my side of Squad . But that’s minor.

the video quality is too low. In the other phone i had to test Squad the video appear in low quality + it seemed like pictures rather than an actual video. The sound was ok but I don’t think i could be able to watch something with my internet friends if the quality is this low. They won’t be able to see the video as it should look. The concept of Squad is great and it does work for other stuff but doesn’t really do a good job in the video part. I’ll keep on using Squad because it is indeed a good app but won’t be able to use it for the reason I downloaded it.

Installed Squad and right off the bad it was creepy. My coworker got a notification I joined before I even allowed access to my contacts. I understand this app checked my phone number against his contacts, but I can easily see this being abused by stalkers/ex-partners/etc. On top of that, when I went to delete my account, I got repeated errors that it “couldn’t be done” and that I would need to contact them—so, I clicked the Feedback button and that didn’t work either! Just another error with no guidance on what to do next.

Suspicious app obviously mining personal information. Beware.

Squad is amazing! I love the ability to share my screen through video call. On the other hand, It is very slow when you do. It makes the shared screen pixelated and laggy. It’s also heated up my phone a bit and drains the battery like crazy. I’m sure that this will improve as new versions come out, so I’ll keep using it for now! Anything the developers can do to make the video call and screen sharing a simpler process for the phone would launch Squad’s quality forward a lot.

This is a really cool app if you have friends far away. Love the option to voice chat. It's a bit intrusive asking for video permissions and then immediately turns them on when opening Squad . But other than that seems like all the problems people are having is because their connection is crap, not the apps fault.. get better internet!

I love Squad! The only thing I would suggest is adding a chat feature where you can text in the call instead of just using the speaker. I can’t use the speaker because my microphone is broken, so a typing feature would be amazing. It could also be good for people who just don’t want to talk and would rather type what they want to say. Other than that, I love Squad and would for sure recommend.

I love Squad and truly believe that it is the best calling app for me to use when I’m calling my friends internationally. The only issue I have is that I can’t screen share. There is an option to but whenever I start a broadcast, my screen doesn’t show up on the receiving end of the video call 😭. I have an iPhone XR and really want to be able to use the screen share feature so can someone please help me?

Squad is very smart and nice for people who can see what each other are doing but the only thing I wish I could change would be how it screenshots when your texting people on Snapchat or another social media platform that shows screenshots. Over all though Squad is great totally recommend it.

Uncharted waters for the win! Squad has so much potential in so many places it’s staggering. I’m in education, I also conduct training seminars and consultant work. Using this app, I can share my own screen to walk cluents through an app or process without needing projectors, speakers, smart boards etc. Well done! It has worked flawlessly for me so far!

My friends FaceTime wasn’t working so she showed me Squad it’s so cool there are so many thing to do you’ll never get bored with this app because you’ll have your friends great way to connect with people that you don’t see often or in this case where my friends FaceTime was not working but this app definitely worked

I love this app! We have a remote team at work and we use it almost daily to share pieces of projects or have team meetings on the fly. The integrated chat function is great if connection is a little iffy. Looking forward to seeing what updates Squad releases as it comes out of beta. Thanks this app!

So in I am 9 and it says 4+ and I was searching all day and when I get on the page it says Phone number and I do have a Phone but I don’t have a number! So I am sure it is a great app just keep in mind you need a Phone number.

Its great and clear sometimes but i keep getting friends i didn’t accept and dont even know, my contacts is disabled so i dont know where they are coming from

I downloaded Squad and always wanted an app to screen share. I start using it and screen share worked. However, after using it for a bit, it says broadcast (null). I deleted and I downloaded it again. It told me to go to Molly and initialize session first. I am dearly confused who is Molly or what is Molly. I watched your video and said, “TV CONNECTED: This video is playing on the TV”.
Please tell me what to do or how to fix it. Me and my friends have the same issue. I will be thankful if you will.
