Jotform Mobile Forms & Survey Reviews

Our annual British Car Show is run by a group of volunteers that don’t have a lot of technology experience. But, they do have a need for timely updates on who’s planing on attending each of the weekend events AND collecting the money. JotForm and JotForm Mobile keep all of the key players informed and energized. Energized? Yes! That instant feedback, when a new car owner registers for the weekend, is exciting for each of us. It’s sort of like going to the mailbox and seeing a “Job Well Done” greeting card from an old friend. It’s just exciting.

We also leverage many of the tools that are built into the apps. The major one is the ability to export data into spreadsheets to create Registration Lists, Name Tags and more. We also use the built-in graphing capabilities to show our committee the progress we’re making.

I have been using this app forms for ages. It is my go to place for collecting information of just about any kind. I even use it to host my complete education syllabus and students use it to do and submit their homework. Now they have come out with the mobile app and that is a phenomenal tool. Now I get to create apps and place them on my ipad’s screen and readily have access to the info. I created an app as a wedding designer to collect data for all my brides. And now wherever I am, I can access the information by a simple click on my screen and even share Jot with my team as well. Love that they keep coming out with new ways to expand the service. this app form is a game-changer for all my businesses, school, and Christian ministry. Kudos Jotform!

Our dog rescue uses this and has lots of issues with payments not going through or erroring our during payment. I saw it myself a week ago and I’m in IT so I know it’s something with JotForm, not user error. Also, the refresh in Jot doesn’t work so to see a proper count of unread donation forms for which I’m responsible for entering I have to delete and reinstall Jot constantly. This is annoying. Fix your app! I’ve asked repeatedly to the other board members to ditch this and stop wasting money.

Update after developer response: I’ve refreshed my data in Jot so many times. It does absolutely nothing. I’ve reached out before and been told the same thing. Also contacted support numerous times about the payment issues and haven’t found any solution. I also work on software for a living. There has to be some solution here other than telling me to try the same things that don’t work.

We used jotform for a virtual flower show- not exactly mega data processing but we had complex phases of judging, sorting and needed to deliver information and images to judges across the country in a way they could process ieasily. Judges are not tech savvy individuals so thankfully Jotform enabled us deliver effortless viewing and processing of images and text. We were able to process 1000’s of images, hundreds of entries with 10 forms EFFORTLESSLY. A couple of days I was sick and needed to work lying down and mobile app was a life saver! Support via Contact us is truly a wonderful part of this program. Although it’s all via email they respond and offer clear solutions or fix issues on their end. Amazing! A+++

I switched to JotForm in 2019 and it has made everything so much easier. I used to have enrollment forms for my program that people had to fill out by hand and either scan and e-mail back to me or send via snail mail. Manually entering everything once I received the forms was extremely time-consuming, but since I've been using JotForm, the entire enrollment process is so much better all the way around. The forms are really easy to create as well and I haven't had any issues customizing it to look the way I want it to. I can also sort data pretty much however I want from hundreds of forms, which is yet another lifesaver. I cannot recommend JotForm enough!

I work in marketing and have tried most of the major form tools. Highly recommend Jot if you need mobile tracking, or to gather submissions on mobile. Editing forms also works fine. Clean and easy to use.

Because most of us need web as well as mobile tools I will mention some pro/cons for the overall service beyond how Jot works.

Cons: JotForm’s form templates could be better. Most of the available designs seem to be for a freestanding form rather than to embed in a site, with way too much body padding and a background color so it doesn’t look integrated. This has to be over-ridden using the “Advanced Designer” that some users would find challenging. You’re not going to be able to make it truly responsive either. I wish they had a “naked” or unstyled option.

The Wordpress plugin is also basically useless.

Pros: It’s otherwise excellent. Pricing, ease of use, customer service and the variety of form fields available are all equal to or superior to peers. You can easily make a ton of different kinds of forms, like quizzes, uploaders and social contests.

First of off, I like to thanks everybody who has created such kind of app. It is very useful for online forms in all fields such as education, business and research. I appreciate that you also provide free service as well. But one thing I like to say is that it happened after have purchased minimal plan. It said no ads or banner in the form but when I downloaded the Forms as pdf version there appears “ads” on the lower right corner of the form. I am not happy with it and you should clarify about it before purchasing. Then customers can consider about it. So please explain about it. Apart from it this is the great app ever I suppose. Thanks you.

Outstanding! I am in love with JotForm! I don’t even write reviews nor do I usually have the time but I have to say that Jot has saved me countless hours and in that money! I was able to collect employee applicant information and have that come to me all in one place where I can download Files and see his contact information. I was able to easily translate that information into employee profiles that will be featured on an online marketplace and that saves a tremendous amount of time also! Very pleased! I won’t use any other program for my forms ever again.

I first became interested to m Jotform after receiving an invitation for an event I wanted to attend but typically dont have time to RSVP. Before I knew it I had RSVP’d and updated my email preferences and current address with one hand. I had a thing Jot would be perfect for! Without hesitation I signed up and started using it exactly as planned and more easily than I imagined. It does everything I hoped it would. The bonus is that there turned out to be a hundred other ways I could use it to organize and streamline parts of my work, family, hobbies, travel....I think there is a new way every day that I discover and wonder how I ever lived without it. Worth every penny.

I oversee seven different fitness facilities. I have searched high and low for an “app” or something that would hold my team accountable every day. Managers need a routine, that will help them prepare for the day and for the week. JotForm works perfectly as we are able to have the managers do a facility walk, with photos and the ability to enter dates. Very handy when you need to monitor your AED daily. I cant be at all the facilities all the time but, I can get organized sheets that are easy to review and helps my company stay tack sharp on day to day operations. Thank you!

I work at an animal rescue and we have been looking for a good way to go fully electronic with all of our surrender/adoption forms. We couldn’t find anything that quite worked for us, until I downloaded Jot! It’s amazing to say the least. We can send forms straight to people’s phones for them to fill out and it all gets emailed directly back to our rescue email for safe storage. It also works offline which is a huge bonus, and it’s very simple and easy to use! The format is clean as well, and looks professional and is user friendly. I highly recommend downloading Jot!

Needed an app for my community club, you don’t need the details, but Jot didn’t require an hour of training, it was intuitive. Yet, it is robust. It does more than I’ve used it for...there are more options than I’ve used. That is, I’m sure I could take an hour-long class and get even more out of it but that’s not required.

It doesn’t crash. It’s done everything I’ve asked and hasn’t hung up. An embedded pdf didn’t load and I have to reload the page a couple of times but that may be my connectivity, not sure?

One thing, now that I think about it, when you first submit a form, Jot creates a thumbnail, then, when you update the form (like when you when you approve an application for membership) that initial thumbnail doesn’t update. You have to actually open the form to see that approval. Not a big deal but if I have to “pick on something”. :-)

Great app!

I do makeup for weddings, and it’s been a long time coming that I’ve needed to make a contract. My friend told me about Jot, and it was a little intimidating at first, but super easy to use once I got the hang of it. There’s a bunch of different templates already created that you can go off of, or it gives you the option to create your own from scratch. It’s also extremely easy for me to keep up with every contract that has been submitted. I highly recommend Jot.

I have used this survey to create my own questions to send to family and friends to understand all the new unwritten rules of texting and calling. I ask for availability times, how often they want to communicate, what boundaries they wanted to set up, my strengths and weaknesses and what they would like to see me work on!! It was so easy to set up a personal survey. Jot is an amazing way to communicate in your personal life or with a business. Can’t wait to get replies!

Love JotForm, and I’m excited about what the company is trying to build here. Unfortunately, kiosk mode isn’t working well on my iPhone XS Max. Even when entering kiosk mode with screen lock, I’m able to exit Jot by swiping up from the bottom - exactly the way I always exit an app. Additionally, I’m not able to access the “close kiosk mode” button, as swiping down from the top pulls down the Notification Center.

Again, I’m excited about what JotForm is trying to do here, as it will make my job a bit easier - and cut down on paper! Until kiosk mode is secure on my device, though, I’m unable to use Jot in any real-world setting.

I’ve tried several other sites and apps for creating landing pages and forms, and none compare to Jotform. Jot is intuitive and easy to use, and it looks great. I especially love how easy it is to integrate things like payments, adding PDFs, and sending followup emails. The free version is robust and gives you access to all the features. I used that for a few months before biting the bullet and upgrading to a paid version for my business. I can’t recommend it enough.

I have enjoyed the product for two years, so the poor review is for the latest update of Jot . When I open Jot on my iPad, it displays the opening splash screen and just stays there. I tried closing all programs and rebooting, but Jot still exhibits that behavior. So Jot is useless, fortunately interfacing JotForm via the website is still great

Update, I needed to purge Jot then reinstall, and it works great again

This has really saved our butts during the pandemic. Helped us get an online store up and running without having to hire someone to edit our website since money is tight. My only gripe is I want some text box options that aren’t headers that don’t require a response, and the “scrolling” images doesn’t seem to keep constraint proportions. Oh and the thumbnails are super small, but I’ll live. But over all, easy to use for someone who’s mildly computer savvy, like pretty sure my Mom could do it, which is great!

I want to LOVE JotForm, but I’m having issues in getting the JotForm PDF to generate true editable forms in Adobe. Specifically, when I’ve built a couple of forms, I’ve used “X” boxes or Radio Buttons. I also have some parts in the form that are fillable text boxes, but when this is exported over to *.PDF, a substantial portion of the “X” boxes, radio buttons, and more concerning the text fields, are not visible, or usable whatsoever!

I do regularly use Adobe products, but these two programs simply don’t appear to work together very well. I know it would be ideal to have my forms used as a stand-alone app on an iPad or other platform, but I still need fillable forms and paper.

I feel that I’ve wasted my money.

I absolutely LOVE Jot in making my own order form.. however I can only add PayPal as a payment option. Sometimes I do not charge the customer right away and the form will not submit unless they pay by PayPal or credit card. What about Venmo and cash app and Facebook messenger payment options? Why can’t we disable the payment option so we can put the payment options on the invoice and the form can be submitted without paying. Fix this issue and this is the PERFECT form app.

I am beyond impressed with the level of customization and usability this application delivers. Jot can be used to create professional forms from any skill levels. Basic users to Pro users will be thankful they used Jot! I never leave reviews in Jot Store (this is my first!) but after spending the evening creating a form for my new business, I had to give a shout out to JotForm for their superior product! Thank you!!

I never leave reviews but I recently created a course for my business coaching brand so when someone else sent me a form, I decided to look in to it for creating an intake form for my class. Let me just say that I am blown away by all the options I can create, including a sales page, and for FREE! It was so easy and quick to set up, and did I mention FREE?! I can’t wait to create some more forms and really see how this baby works!

All of the functionality from the web version to your phone, the mobile JotForm app is getting better and better. Easy to display forms, edit on the fly and make changes. Sometimes the notifications don’t load into the form appropriately but the fixes are quick and responsive. Would highly recommend!

I researched 5 different solutions to create forms based on existing PDF forms and while I still needed to do some customization the process was so simple and I was able to do exactly what I wanted. The collection process was the selling point though. Nobody makes it easier to track and archive the forms. Can I buy stock in this company?!

Ive put so much effort into building out my business’ form systems just to find that the kiosk mode doesn’t autofocus the cursor in the first field in card layout. Why would it need to be anywhere else? Customers then have to touch the screen each time in order to type, and most type the answer only to look up and see nothing entered, to then have to touch the screen and then type. Frustrating ....
I tried it outside of kiosk mode on browsers and still the same issue.

THEN the widgets do not play nice and cause a bunch of blank screens to pop up and have to be closed in order to get to the form in kiosk mode. Sometimes it freezes and you can’t even get to the form. This is detriment for someone trying to have a waiver that autorefreshes after each customer.

Fix these issues and I’ll gladly give 5 stars.

I’m in love with the new contact info import button... at last no more copy paste... wish it would also search the form for a comments box and if found import those comments to the notes section of a contact... but I’m not complaining!.. You guys are the Best!

We have been in need of a kiosk like way of taking forms but solutions were expensive or a lot of work. Great work!

How exactly do I make a form that looks like your screenshots? You aren’t using one question per page but it looks nicer than the full form on one page option. Thanks!

I like Jot my only complaint is I no longer get sound notifications. I have tried the steps from the web site and still no sound notifications.

I have been looking for a form to use for family reunion registration. I lucked up on jotform and it is perfect. It even calculates the fee due and allows you to add options to preset templates. A couple of edits I did were really easy to do.

Better platform and use of space. Your able to set conditions and multi uses without having to break the bank like the other apps. Well done guys!

I believe it’s a very promising app comparing to others, however it needs a lot of work on viewing the results like being able to export it to excel and show it in how many ppl chose option 1 in the multiple questions for example
