Premise - Earn Money Reviews

I have been using Premise since November and have made great money on it. Then, out of nowhere about 2 weeks ago, all of the Locate tasks disappeared. This is not a case of someone else took the jobs, I mean there are zero jobs listed under the Locate tab whereas I used to see at least 100 per week, with more added almost daily. I check it all the time and nothing. Under the Explore tab, the closest task is 74 miles away and again, I used to have tons of those in my immediate area. I have tried deleting and re-installing Premise as well as making sure I’m on WIFi, location is turned on, all the usual checks. So I guess it’s RIP to Premise too. They all go this way eventually it seems.

Premise on theory would be great except for every time you try to request your money the transaction fails and the error message reads NSF which is insufficient funds. So it’s like they are barely scraping by and don’t have the money they offer readily available but instead make you do a bunch of troubleshooting for no reason since your info is unchanged since the last successful transfer you did then all of a sudden it works and you changed nothing.. this is one of the worst apps I’ve come across for actually paying you.. yea you’ll get paid but not like they make it seem, it’ll take days after your initial request that will fail over and over until they decide to pay you... I wish I had 2 more hands so I could give them 4 thumbs down...

Update: I’ve tried to cash out again since this last time and it’s the same thing ... payment failed .. I’ve yet to receive a payment with no hassle it’s every time I try the payment fails and I’m told the system is down so I just expect it now

I love using this app, I’ve used their app for almost a year now, receiving $20-$30 a month just for doing surveys, usually 1-5 surveys are available a day, and about every week and a half or two weeks I cash out $10-$12 from the surveys. Granted you need to be truthful on these surveys, and some are repeated surveys so just answer honestly and same answers if you run across the same surveys again.
I definitely recommend Premise to anyone who would take a couple minutes a few times a day to do surveys and get $10-$30 a month just for taking surveys.
I don’t participate in the “explore” or “locate” task sections of Premise , but they pay out too.
Survey/task approval takes maybe anywhere between 5hrs and 35 hours but Premise is COMPLETELY WORTH IT. AND COMPLETELY LEGIT.
I’m not sure why others have gave bad reviews, because everyone has different experiences with apps depending on their device and their effort or experience while using Premise . But I just wanted to give an honest and proud customer review.

I’ve been using crowdsourcing apps for almost as long as they’ve existed and my experience with this app has been worse than all the others combined. They’re thieving scum who will suspend your account without telling you why — which leads me to believe that they will do it without any reason, just to avoid paying for work that you did in good faith. Coupled with the “payment platform” failures that they keep having, I just don’t see how you can trust them at all. Beware.

UPDATE Well, this app reinstated my account. Just out of the blue, I’d given up trying to reason with them. Which actually makes their response to my review all the more ridiculous. First they insist I did something wrong, then they quietly admit I didn’t. No apology, no explanation. My opinion hasn’t really changed. This company is a dangerous mix of pure incompetence and dishonesty.

Hey. I recently downloaded this map around the end of January and I’ve been enjoying it a lot! Only think is i have been waiting’s 3 days+ for just a single server and there’s one time where I went 4 days without a server and I’m just stuck here with 9.75$ waiting for cash and I cannot to picture tasks because I do not own a car. But I’m not sure if it’s cause where I live I’ve been checking updates frequently to see if that was the case but after updating I only got 2 surveys back and I haven’t gotten a single survey in 3 days.

If someone could help me with this that would be great! Overal amazing app definently recommend it if you want extra cash!

I’ve had Premise for a while, but really started trying to use it in February and March. The work added up quickly and was fun to do. Then, the pandemic hit so I stopped for a few weeks assuming, like my other similar apps, the work had dried up. One day I just happened to check it and this one offered many surveys for small payments. I was excited to have some kind of work so I started completing them. Fast forward a few months and I’ve been trying to cash out for over a week and continue to get the “failed” response. I’ve emailed support and gotten a response that they are “working on it” but haven’t gotten any follow up emails regarding an expected time frame or anything.
I’d love to give Premise a 5 🌟 rating but, for now at least, it seems sketchy and may be deleted soon.

I love Premise and have been using it for a few months. It’s a great way to earn extra money and it’s easy to do. However…they’re paypal option to cash out is constantly down and takes days to get back up. I use this money for extra income and work hard to earn it. They also offer payoneer but their fees are high to cashout and it’s not as quick to access my money from there. Every other company I’ve used to earn money has never had this problem with PayPal. If this issue was permanently fixed I would give it 5 stars. It’s frustrating to work and then not know when you can get paid.

I really want to give a good review because I really like Premise and it’s really easy to use. Unless you want to get your money. I have tried 4 times over the last week to get my money through PayPal and it keeps failing to send for some reason. One time it even said it was approved but then the next day it showed as failed also. If someone from the company could fix this problem then I would give it a five star but it seems this has been going on for months and I am not the only one it has happened to.

Updated: They responded to my email within a day or so and I finally got Paypal working and got my money sent.

I used to love Premise as a single parent with three little girls and no help from their father with my job that don’t pay much and me having to be home for my kids and only work certain hours this helped me get the necessary things I needed I wasn’t able to buy after paying my bills and rent now I am not even able to make 5$ it only gives me q couple of things to do in price reporting the other things at certain stores to do is hours away from me I drove the other day waisted my little bit of gas money I had to live on for the week to find certain products and look for the bar codes and they didn’t have them items with the barcodes needed this I can’t do my milk 2% no more for price reporting nor the eggs Cream cheese Cheerios spaghetti Kraft Mac n cheese ect.

Premise started out great. Easy tasks, good money besides the PayPal cash out option always failing. They supposedly give you bonuses on the amount of approved product id tasks you successfully complete. For example every since I’ve used Premise the last year they give $60 bonus for 5 product id tasks approved. Then $100 bonus for 10 successful approved product id tasks. I did over 35 tasks in the matter of Dec 29-Jan 6th and they never gave me my bonuses. Now they are ignoring my messages. Don’t start something you can’t finish. It takes a lot of time and gas riding to these places. Don’t waste your time with Premise. It gets shady after awhile & all the representatives have different answers about bonuses. It’s crazy

Don’t bother if you use PayPal because they may or may not be able to pay you.

This was a great app that I really enjoyed for a while. They removed the location based tasks when coronavirus hit, which was understandable. I continued to do the other surveys for a while and finally reached the minimum payout but have tried multiple times to cash out over the last month and a half and the payment fails every time. I did receive a response to my inquiry asking why it failed and was told it would be fixed soon, however, here it is a month and a half later and still it isn’t fixed. My gut tells me I will not receive the money I have earned. Nothing takes this long to “fix”. I definitely would not recommend Premise to anyone until this company decides to get their act together.

this app is one of my favorite apps and it has improved tremendously over the past year! I always enjoy opening Premise when I go to the market or am on a walk through the city, making a good amount of extra cash while helping improve my city and the selection of products and the market. The quick surveys and tasks are surprisingly fun!

Not sure why others have had problems with cashing out. I’ve don’t it several times with ease and cashed out in both USD as well as bitcoin!

I enjoy Premise as it’s easy and a nice way to make extra money. However, not being able to get paid for days due to technical issues is frustrating. Also, surveys are being duplicated throughout the day, which causes some rejections. I don’t want my account to be at risk of deactivation due to a technical issue. I’ve been told you can’t complete but 1 survey per calendar day (which I understand), yet when the next day comes, the surveys are still getting rejected. It’s pretty frustrating.

Part two: Ok so now I think it is working good. I have been able to do two money transfers with out any delay. So now I am giving them four stars. If this keeps up they will get five stars. Live Premise . Keeps me going. Just be safe now that it’s getting hectic.

OK so I cant find my previous reviews. So far Premise is working. I have been able to get paid the last to times in a timely manner. It’s a good app if you like to get out and see your city. Like I said the last two times I had cashed our have work so if it keeps it up I will up mr star rating. Until then three stars is good for now.

So I did a money gramTask and got approved so I did another one the exact same way it was rejected and then I did a grocery receipt one takes a lot of time to do that one it got rejected and all that was was taking pictures of the product I bought and taking pictures of the receipt that I bought it on they said something didn’t match on there I think they don’t want to pay you and will reject you for any reason they seem fit.I drove too many miles and put in too much time for the little bit of money that they keep rejecting me when I know it’s right especially if the project I did before was approved.I am very unhappy with Premise I do not think I will be a part of it any more.

The designers of Premise are careless with the phrasing of the various tasks. Quite frequently a task will be rejected, and unpaid even though the work was done correctly, because the instructions given are ambiguous or incorrect. Typically, the in-app support will defend the rejection, even though it is illogical to begin with. I'm not sure they are allowed to think independently. Sometimes they concede, but the process is designed to deflect complaints about their own mistakes.
In conclusion, the designers don't seem to think through the logic and wording of the tasks, and frequently enough people doing the tasks will not get paid for their mistakes!

Premise is a fun way to make a few bucks, but also an easy way to waste time when tasks completed correctly get rejected. I contacted the support team over such an incident (there have been several similar issues in the two weeks I’ve been using Premise ), and got a very delayed and unhelpful response. I replied again and once more find myself waiting days to hear back. I think the support team’s strategy is to take so long that users give up and call the lost money a wash. I, for one, think having someone work for you and then not pay them is a form of stealing.

I honestly don’t understand why this has such a low rating. I have NEVER used any app period that pays so well and so easy to cash out. I have made at least 70 within the first two months and literally did nothing. Well, I answered a few questions, I took pictures of different things and answered a couple questions and GOT PAID. COME ON , HOW EASY Is that? AS FOR ME , I’m HAPPY FOR THE MOST PART. I think everyone should give it a try. what do you have to lose?

Premise used to have easy tasks with good earnings but they started lowering the amounts paid for each task. Then Covid hit and they took away all tasks except for surveys that pay a dime each despite the fact that their locate tasks could be completed without coming in contact with anyone. There is no word on when the other paid tasks will return. The pay outs are slow at best. Sometimes it takes months to get your money sent to PayPal and they always blame it on PayPal. Every other app that pays me through PayPal is easy to get paid. Not this one. I do not recommend unless the locate tasks are brought back and they permanent fix the pay out problem.

I was really digging Premise at first. They had tons of pretty easy tasks such as photograph/locate an ATM or a park for $1-$1.25 per task. You could cash out to coinbase for $5, i cased our 2-3 times, it was great. Now, all of a sudden, the minimum cash out amount is $15, no problem I thought at first because it never took me long to get to $5...BUT they removed ALL of the locate tasks. Doesn’t matter if i am at home or out and about there are no tasks. There are a bunch of 10cent surveys, but not nearly enough to get me to $15 and there’s a Whole Foods market task that should pay $10 but I only got $5 because I was already in the store when I started the task and couldn’t take a picture of the front entrance until after I took the product pictures but there is no way to update or edit a picture once you take it which is ridiculous and I wasn’t about to leave and stand in line for an hour again to get a picture of the front of the store.

Long story short: i think they don’t have enough money to pay out anymore and so there going to get paid for the work I did and never pay me. You can’t raise the cash out minimum and then remove all the tasks, that’s shady as hell.

I love Premise! It’s an easy way to make a few extra dollars just by doing simple tasks. The only issue I have is that there are sometimes times when it takes a while to get paid. But once getting paid, it’s great!

Due to this corona virus out break and some states having a curfew, I believe you should add more surveys with a higher pay instead of us having to go out we should be able to do surveys while staying home 🏠 instead of Locate you should switch until this Corona virus is over.

On veterans day, I visited Wegmans and in just 2 hours, I earned $50 just by taking pictures of products that I could find. I thought this app would never come back starting in April. But now I earning my money back that I missed in 6 months. Thank you this app for making 2020 the best year ever. I truly mean it.

Great way to earn extra cash on the side just answering quick surveys and completing simple tasks, totally recommend! I didn’t use PayPal so can’t say much about that issue but have had no problems at all cashing out! I have been able to do tasks AND get paid

After trying to cash out several times via PayPal I decided to check the reviews and see if others were experiencing this as well. Looking over other reviews it seems that this issue has been going on for months and I got the canned response of “we are working on fixing this”. I’m fearful that this is not a technical issue and more a funds issue. This should not take this long to fix transfers to PayPal. Please fix this issue with a permanent solution and not band aid fixes.

Love Premise . Quick and easy submission of tasks. All around my neighborhood and anywhere in my city. I love it. I’ve shared it with others. My only issue was that no one from their support department reached out to me about this PayPal issue. But I’m glad it was resolved. Hope all gets better.

I really like Premise. I answer some surveys and take a few pics of the local area. I actually enjoy doing it and the money accumulates quickly. WAY quicker than any other app I’ve seen, and I’ve tried a lot. Definitely recommend!

I loved the world out of Premise until it completely quit working. Tasks that I hadn’t done disappeared and they wouldn’t cash out what in earned. It’s just sitting there. I contacted someone and they told me it’s a minor problem and as soon as it’s fixed I would get my money and it’s been longer than a month and still can’t cash out. Smh.
