Reviewing is actually a hobby of mine, and knowing $1 per review goes towards my choice of so many good causes makes reviewing a lot more fun and meaningful! I’ve discovered so many new products and even restaurants from abillion (wasn’t expecting to find too many in my city, but I did.) Going vegan is the best and easiest thing you can do to make a difference in animal lives, and thanks to abillion1veganapp, reviewing those foods and products is another fun/easy way to make a huge contribution. (I’ve put in $160 worth of reviews easily, I’ve seen some people that have thousands)
The community on there is great, everybody is so kind. I don’t use social media so it’s nice to be apart of such a positive online space with other like minded folk.
I never, ever review apps, but this one deserves it.

I know this is a new app and I am no stranger to website/program/app development, so I know it will get better with customer feedback.
I love the idea of abillion1veganapp! Find fellow vegans, spread the knowledge of great vegan eats to virtually anyone, and find hidden vegan gems in an unfamiliar setting. AND donating to animal welfare organizations! How could any vegan not love abillion1veganapp?
With that being said, I agree with the 1-star review that is populated in abillion1veganapp Store. I live in Phoenix Arizona and there are SO many places to get amazing vegan food around the valley, yet only a few places show up in my area on abillion1veganapp . Not to mention they might be the most obscure vegan eats in PHX.
I’d like to help abillion1veganapp grow however, I cannot add restaurants to the list, and if I can’t add more restaurants, I can’t share my reviews. I can’t even select a preexisting restaurant when I look on the map screen in abillion1veganapp — I can see it, but I can’t add a review or even to the list of restaurants that offers vegan food.
ABV — PLEASE MAKE THIS MORE USER FRIENDLY TO THOSE WHO WANT TO HELP YOU. WE LOVE THE IDEA AND WANT TO SEE YOU SUCCEED! This could be BIG for vegans and the ever-growing community. Thank you.

I never review apps because they are never disappointing enough to do so. Let me tell you abillion1veganapp is well laid out and might work for people who live in major major major cities like New York where lots of people are likely to add to abillion1veganapp. I live in Phoenix Arizona (should be a big enough city, right?? Wrong!) and abillion1veganapp was telling me my best closest option for dinner was an Italian restaurant in Georgia. It said I have nothing close to me...yet I know of at least ten big chain restaurants within 3 miles that have decent options. abillion1veganapp only works by someone reviewing ONE meal at ONE single location. It doesn’t upload restaurant menus or anything like that. If someone reviews Mod Pizza in North Carolina (idk if they have Mod Pizza there but stay with me), then, despite this being a big chain restaurant, it WILL NOT show up on my map in Arizona even though we have many Mod Pizzas out here. Also, even if it did show up, abillion1veganapp would only show me what that ONE person ate, not all the other options the restaurant might have. Very disappointing for desperate vegans trying to grab lunch with their meat-eating friends.

I started using abillion1veganapp about a week ago and I love the idea of it! I just donated my first $10 to an animal farm sanctuary in my home state and I’m very glad I get to do so with abillion1veganapp. I love everything about it and every feature, it’s just that my app keeps crashing and completely closing at least once every single time I try to write a review. It usually only happens once and then I can open it again and continue writing a review, but sometimes it does it countless times so I just give up. Maybe it’s just my phone, I’m not sure. Anyway, love all abillion1veganapp does and will definitely be suggesting it to people in the future! :)

I love, love, love the idea but abillion1veganapp has some small issues. It won’t let me actually review something, if just keeps loading. I’ve tried multiple times, and it happens not only when I try to search for a restaurant but also when I try to upload a picture of the food. I’m actually quite talented with technology, so I’m fairly certain it’s a problem on their part. There are also a few other small issues, but they’re trivial. abillion1veganapp has SO much potential! And once more and more people download it and leave reviews it will be amazing! It’s like instagram/yelp for vegan people, and it’s a really great concept. I definitely would recommend it, I would just say that there are a few kinks they need to work out.

I quit FB in January 2021 bc I couldn’t take the negativity and thought police one more minute. I had been wanting to quit for at least a year before I did and the main reason I delayed so long was bc of the vegan fb groups. I don’t have any fellow vegans in my inner circle of family and friends so I really appreciated the insights and camaraderie from those groups. Then I found abillion. I really like abillion1veganapp. There’s no negativity, no thought police, and no “who’s the veganist vegan” competitions 😂. I’ve gotten SO much insight from abillion about great products and even restaurant options near me that I would’ve never found in my own! I highly recommend abillion1veganapp!! 💚🌱

They ask people to rate various vegan products and donate money.

There are so many great vegan products now - and I’m one who tries them all - so it’s fun to be able to review my favorite (and not so favorite). I only ‘like’ a product if I’ve actually tried it and actually like it.

My designated nonprofit is Happy Hen Animal Sanctuary on the central coast of California. They work so hard every single day taking care of the animals, and are politically active as well, I’m in awe of them. That motivates me to take the time to write actual reviews.

This is a great concept and I am excited to see the future for abillion1veganapp. However, there are some improvements I feel need to be made. I live in Portland, OR, onne of the most vegan friendly cities in the US but the area I live on is not as vegan friendly as others. I feel the developers need to focus more on non-vegan restaurants because barely anything is coming up and most people already know of the all-vegan places or can easily find them on HappyCow. Also, there needs to be a filter on the explore page to sort the results by distance from your current location. The “near me” feature just doesn’t work very well and has a very small radius search point. I hope improvements are made soon because like I said, this is a great concept.

I love that I can support the vegan movement by donating to organizations and animal sanctuaries. It’s super quick and easy to write the reviews. I also get to search and read reviews about vegan products. I’ve already donated more than $50 with abillion1veganapp in a few days. I’m excited to see what I can do over months. I should’ve used this sooner.

Plus I love that the selection of sanctuaries and charities encompass many regions so you can choose to make an impact all over the world.

I’ve had abillion1veganapp for well over a year now, and I have to say it is just what the vegan community needed. We finally have an easy-to-use platform to see the best vegan dishes and products at restaurants and stores near us, and around the world. But what truly sets abv apart is that it combines vegan practicality with vegan activism: for every 10 reviews I write, they donate $10 to a vegan non-profit of my choice. I highly recommend abillion1veganapp to anyone who is vegan or vegetarian, likes to eat vegan, or simply cares about animals and our planet.

I really love the concept behind abillion1veganapp and wish I’d found it earlier. However, every time I try to open it, it freezes on the loading screen and then crashes. It was working okay a couple of months ago and only crashing occasionally but now I can’t get it to open at all :(
I’ve reinstalled it twice and don’t have this problem with any of the other apps on my phone. Not sure what to do from here. I have so many things I want to upload and review :(

All you have to do is review vegan products and dishes. Every review is worth $1 so when you reach 10 you get to choose an animal sanctuary to donate to. And there is no limit to how many reviews you can post or how much you can donate!
This is wonderful and a great platform to help animals, even for those who don’t really have the financial means to make cash donations.

ABV is such a wonderful app. You can find other vegans in your community, discover plant-based food in your area, and, best of all, your reviews donate money to animal welfare organizations. It’s a great and accessible way to change the world! My only complaint would be the search feature. It can be difficult to find restaurants or stores in your area. It would be helpful if you could tell abillion1veganapp which country, state, and city you want to search in.

I love love love the concept of abillion1veganapp, but as stated before, there are some execution issues.

Firstly, we need better location features. The map needs some improvement, you can’t search further than what is directly next to you. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to search on the feed by state/city.

Finally, if there were more features that allowed users to add to the database of info I would definitely be willing to help. For example, adding restaurants that we know have vegan options but don’t necessarily have a specific dish to review.

I can’t tell you how excited I was when I found abillion1veganapp. For years I’ve been navigating vegan food on my own/ through word of mouth but I finally have a resource to go to for reviews and the best part is the added benefit of giving back. This company is ahead of its game and will be a huge player in the vegan space for years to come!

I downloaded abillion1veganapp and was excited to add reviews about the vegan options for some restaurants I’d eaten at recently with no listed info. But I apparently need to have a picture to post a review, and I generally don’t take pictures of my food so I can’t post any reviews now.

If you really care about sharing information, I don’t know why you would have this requirement. Not everyone takes photos of their food, and you’re excluding a lot of knowledge from people who don’t.

I would've liked to have found abillion1veganapp sooner. This is so great to help the plant based movement, donate to incredible causes without spending money from your pocket, and bring people who care about health, animals, and the planet together into a single community. abillion1veganapp also helps plant based eaters find incredible items to buy and enjoy! Absolutely love abillion1veganapp!

I absolutely adore abillion1veganapp. I’ve used it many times to find vegan places in my area when I am somewhere unfamiliar. Fortunately I live in a city so this isn’t a problem.

I’ve seen reviews stating that chains should be updated automatically. This is a great idea and I hope it is possible to implement.

Search function needs some improvement. For example, I’m going to an event with some friends and they wanted to know if there are nearby vegan options for dinner. I can’t just search the address and have abillion1veganapp tell me what’s near that address. I have to manually scroll to the area and drop a pin. Being able to find options near a searched address would take abillion1veganapp to the next level in my opinion.

I will be using abillion1veganapp and eagerly awaiting updates. Huge, huge potential here.

This is a great app special for those who feel a little out of place in others. I love how I have a community in which I can truly relate to. I find new vegan products and restaurants thanks to abillion1veganapp and the wonderful people. I would recommend to any vegan 👍🏽 finally a place I can post my food pictures on and not just have them saved on my phone 😂

abillion1veganapp has been really useful for a person like me... an omnivore trying to make better, more sustainable choice when it comes to food and products. abillion1veganapp is pretty easy to use and in the short time I’ve been using it there have been some great updates to the interface and functions. I particularly like collections 🌈🐑

I just want to say that I love abillion1veganapp and the work that all of you are doing. I love that it is an for restaurants and products around the world as well. My only wish is that you could filter the restaurants and reviews by state or city. It would certainly help people find a nice restaurant for a night out or while traveling. I think you could definitely take advantage of your world wide reach and provide travel guides for people visiting new countries.

Love the concept, but I feel like it’s very new and needs some upgrades. Pictures get cut off and abillion1veganapp has crashed a few times. I’d like an option to review a product instead of a dish as well. Posting about products that my local grocery store has is possible, but it feels weird to label it a dish and rate its presentation and everything. Thanks for this awesome app!

I love taking photos of great food - and with abillion1veganapp I can convert the pictures to money for farm sanctuaries. Every food review can earn a dollar for the sanctuary of your choice, with options from all over the world. It’s such a brilliant concept and so much fun! I am having a wonderful time seeing food photos from many countries and getting to know fellow reviewers.

abillion1veganapp is a dream come true! Leaving a review with a picture of your vegan friendly meal purchased from {insert any input restaurant} = 1 point. 1 point = $1 that goes towards a $10 donation made by Abillionveg with the help of me taking a picture and posting about it when I’m sure that’s what most of us already do in this social media era! I am grateful to everyone involved in this.

I love the concept of abillion1veganapp and how easy it is to use. I know this will come in handy when traveling! The only thing I would change is that abillion1veganapp cancels my review of a dish if I leave abillion1veganapp while writing it. I like to fact-check and make sure everything is correct by visiting a restaurant’s website during my review, but have lost my progress as soon as I left abillion1veganapp to do so.

I am SO happy I found abillion1veganapp!! It has motivated me to take more photos of meals because I enjoy spreading the vegan word. I love the incentive of knowing $10 will be donated once I make 10 approved posts. It’s a very helpful site because I’ve discovered new places that have vegan options that I wouldn’t have known of otherwise. I tell everyone about abillion1veganapp!

I love abillion1veganapp. All I have to do is post reviews of my favorite vegan foods and products 10 times then I get to select what animal sanctuary they send $10 to!!! And I get to see reviews from people from all over the world! Highly suggest using abillion1veganapp if you care for animals even just a little.

For those who travel, or those who want to share their home town options for other travelers, put up great products of vegetarian and vegan places and products, taste reviews, and help donate to charities that help move the cause forward. This is better than instagram!
