What is Ear Training University?
The Ear Training University (ETU) app is designed to help users learn Relative Pitch ear training. The app offers a series of lessons that teach users how to do ear training the right way. The lessons include video instruction and interactive drills, and most of the settings are already programmed into the drills to keep things interesting and challenging. Progress is easy to visualize, and users can enter their music teacher's email address to receive progress reports. The app also offers professionally recorded voice-over cues for drills, interval and chord spelling drills, chord identification drills, chord inversion drills, and more.

2nd Update:
I started EarTrainingUniversity up last night, and had battery issues all day. I realized that EarTrainingUniversity was sitting in the background killing my battery for 21 hours straight. Apps aren’t supposed to do this, please update for efficiency and proper battery and resource use.

I haven’t been able to get past one lesson/video per app start. The content looks ok but hard to say since the UI is so horrible that it makes it unusable.

None of the videos load (I have both WiFi and full FTE). Pausing, going forward, waiting, etc. doesn’t work so I can’t get any video to load. Any ideas why? I’m sure EarTrainingUniversity is amazing otherwise but I can’t use it :(

This software is unbelievably frustrating. As you progress through the end of a lesson, instead of advancing to the next, the program returns you back the beginning of the lesson again. Very, very difficult to move to the next lesson.

I like the idea of EarTrainingUniversity but it would simply not play the video I wanted. I would click on the title and it would play the wrong video quite often.
