Sengled Home is the latest smart home control app that replaces the earlier version -- Element Home. Sengled Home is a residential smart-products management platform, which provides you with an integrated mobile app to control, manage and monitor your Sengled smart products. With easy set-up, Sengled Home is able to quickly connect your smart products to the Internet, implement real-time communication between your cell phone and household devices through the cloud platform, and achieve remote controlling and monitoring. Moreover, it is able to customize a fully automatic control system based on your personal habits. CONTROL YOUR LIGHTS FROM ANYWHERE ON THIS PLANET Either 1 foot away from your Sengled smart device, or 10,000 miles away from your home, as long as you have internet, you can control or check the status of your devices. COLOR, COLOR TEMPERATURE AND BEYOND Transform your mobile device into a color palette, and your bulbs, your canvas. Choose from 16 million colors—or choose from Warm White to Day Light—and change the colors of your bulbs to match any mood you have. ROOM ARRANGEMENT AND GROUPING Sengled Home App enables you to easily bundle your smart LED lightbulbs into pre-set rooms, or create your own user defined rooms for grouping purposes. FRONT PAGE OR WIDGET CONTROLS MOST OF YOUR DEVICES With a simplified and optimized UI design, you can access and control most of the functions from the front page of the Sengled Home App. Scene control and Mobile home page Widget control even makes this process easier. SMART LED GETS SMARTER WITH SENSORS Sengled smart LED lights with built-in motion sensor can not only push notifications for any motion event, but also setup actions after detecting motion events. For example, turn on the lights in your bedroom when motion is detected in your backyard in the middle of the night. Sengled smart door sensor can also be used to link with your smart LED lights for event triggered actions. SCHEDULES, SCENES AND ROUTINES Either setup daily routines, such as waking or sleeping routines, for the convenience, or setup vacation routines, such as turning lights on/off to simulate people being home, for home security purposes. Works great with some hiccups
System works great for the price point, compared to the other brands. But setup is less desirable, takes time to pair. Trying to pair switches has been an event, I’ve purchased 6 and only 1 has been paired. Thinking about returning them all, if I can’t get them paired the weekend. It’s not worth the hassle, but would of made the bathroom bulbs more functional as it is a pain walking into a dark room and then asking Alexa to turn on the lights waking up my spouse. But the lights work great and haven’t had any connection issues with them and I have almost 15 bulbs. Update: Finally got all of my switches paired, it is hard for me to just let things be, I have to figure it out. So I went to the hub and hit add device then when it was searching for bulbs held down the on and off for it to locate and it paired no problem. Thank goodness I didn’t let the switches beat me lol.

Excellent product as standalone smart bulbs
Not expensive in comparison with a regular LED bulb. One hub can hook up like 60 bulbs! We have them everywhere possible in our home. It made our LR inset ceiling lights so much more functional! They were on 3 switches before, 3 on 2 switches and one on its own. Essentially, they are each on their own switch NOW. BUT/AND, you can group your bulbs, and that is what we did. Our bulbs are now dimmable (sp.?) each or as a whole group, or selected, all with their own dimming slider. Great for turning lights on before you walk in the house, or when going to bed. I don’t even have to reach over to turn my nightstand lights off. Sengled, I look forward to your development of new bulbs (CANDLEABRA please).

Excellent experience & functionality
I am genuinely confused by the overall low rating given the ~500 reviews. The only suggestion I would make is branding the packaging differently to make it more obvious what type of product is inside. I thought I ordered Smart WiFi bulbs, but in reality I ordered the bulbs that required a hub. Not a problem but it took some fiddling to figure out why Alexa didn’t see my bulbs. These bulbs have been great, our use-case is strictly Alexa but that may change as we add full color bulbs. The cost per white bulb is marginal when compared to the cost of LEDs which we just replaced throughout our house. We are also running Philips Hue so we are actively comparing the two (booth controlled through Alexa), and so far there is no distinguishable difference. Both products do exactly what I want them to, but Sengled does it for a fraction of the cost. The hub is easy to setup and the bulbs are easy to setup. My only recommendation is to power on each device (hub & bulbs) for 3-5 minutes before trying to discover and configure. Do that and you’re golden!
