Fontkey - Fonts Keyboard Emoji Reviews

I loved trying out the fonts in Fontkey but when I went to go try it in another app it was asking me to pay for certain fonts. The keyboard looks a little different from the regular apple one. It glitches and takes you back to the “normal font” A LOT. There are so many better options than Fontkey. Yes, many of those other apps want you to pay too, but you don’t have to. They give you many free fonts, the emoticons are usually free, and the keyboard doesn’t lag out. And
It’s definitely not my phone lagging cause I’ve used many other font apps and they’ve never done that. I loved Fontkey at first but it’s only been a few minutes and my love for Fontkey has just gone downhill. Please use another app or use font generators on safari, google, etc. Yes it might be annoying to use/get fonts on google or safari but you get so many fonts, and for free, unlike these keyboard apps that make you pay for certain fonts. Anyways, I’m uninstalling Fontkey. 🤷‍♀️

Great app, buuutttt, I think asking for a subscription price is ridiculous🧐 like, just charge me for the original app like a normal person. Other than the WEEKLY charge... I think Fontkey appears like it is full of features and fonts and such. It looks cool, but tbh, I’m not sure if I’m gonna even get to use it🤷🏻‍♂️🥲

When you first open Fontkey , yes it’s one of those that says it’s free, but the immediately want you to start a free trial for the “full version”- that says it’s only 3 days then will start charging you $5 a WEEK, that’s $20 a month, you can get more than one streaming service for less than that why would anyone in their right mind mind spend that much for what comes down to random aesthetics? But okay, maybe there’s at least something in the free version that makes it worth a download, right? Wrong. You get only one incredibly boring barely different font. Also the thing that got me to go full one star was the fact a pop up asked for a 5 star review when Fontkey had just launched and I hadn’t done anything yet. Super scummy.
No one bother with Fontkey, it’s pointless and a scam/so not worth it if you pay for it

I saw an ad of Fontkey and thought it would be so cool if I had different fonts on my keyboard so I downloaded it, and I went to settings, did the full access....blah blah blahhhh....so when I went to text my friend, it would I only let me use one font like what the heck?! I get that their company’s trying to earn money but only one font that’s unlocked is not cool. At least 10 fonts should be a available for good review and at least 4 stars, that’s common sense. Anyone can run Fontkey and company with more than 10 fonts unlocked. You get a lot of money for JUST coding Fontkey so I don’t get the problem. And you get money for many users. And if you unlock all the fonts, many MANY people will use your app and your company will take off big time. I don’t recommend Fontkey until they make upgrades AND updates. HIGHLY don’t recommend.

It’s a cool app but then once you get it instead it up and everything I asked for like a trial and I wasn’t expecting to be paying money I thought you would only be paying money for like the really good things I thought that I would have the keyboard and when you skip it and go onto the keyboard to type stuff to your friends and family it won’t let you so basically if you don’t wanna spend money then you just got it for no reason because it will only work if you get the free trial so I honestly don’t recommend it if you don’t want to spend money

The five star reviews are fake. Fontkey only gives you one font and you have to pay money to unlock the rest. You have to allow full access and doing that puts you at risk for someone stealing your personal information. I tried it and once I figured out that Fontkey is a scam, I immediately disabled access and deleted Fontkey . They have robots writing the five star reviews so that they can drown out the one star reviews that are actually real. Here’s a piece of advice, whenever your downloading a app that is sketchy, immediately read the one star reviews first to see if it’s a scam. this app is a splendid app. It applies different fonts that you can type in! Although, you only have about two to chose from. Here’s what I want to change. I understand we all want to make money, but- to subtract $5 from my account for the whole fonts for a week is something I don’t want to waste my money on. Is there anyway we can just buy the fonts without having to deduct anymore money from my ( others ) accounts? Or just not have to buy them at all?
Overall, it’s a nice app. I just want to have an application that will allow nice fonts, and provides them all without having to spend cash.

I was exited to download it at first and since im a kid i cant pay for anything and asking is a long shot so when i found out u had to pay for almost the entire pack of fonts i was sort of disappointed not that i dont expect for people to make money out of it im just saying that maybe some packs should be free like the basics or more like 50/50 though the fonts are incredible just the fact that i feel obligated to buy it to be able to use it seems off (note this is just my opinion the fonts are great and if u could buy it i would recommend it).

I was so upset and said it was gonna be free I was so excited because I could use on my Instagram texting my girls anything but then it asked me to pay I don’t really wanna spend my money I’m a stupid texting app no duh i’m telling all my friends not to buy Fontkey and I’m never going to recommend this to anyone I saw on Instagram ad popped up and it said everything was free but I got scammed and that’s why am giving you guys zero stars and I’ll just keep writing bad reviews because why not it’s either going to be in app purchases but it didn’t say you had to pay for it that’s it A only reason I gave it one star is because it said I had to give it a start

Basically, it shows in the ads how you can have so many different fonts but you have to you dont. it only gives you one which is 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚎. The rest you have to pay for which i think is ridiculous and also when u are setting it up on ur keyboard they try to make u enable something which gives them ur entire keyboard history which basically means they can see everything that u type including anything private. i mean sometimes it’s good to have a change with stuff so if ur cool with just having one font to u know change it up then go ahead but otherwise i wouldn’t get it.

I dont really like Fontkey because you have to pay a subcriswn just to get more fonts. 𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚙𝚙 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚒𝚟e 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚏𝚏. And Fontkey tells that steps and stuff which is really helpful but the only thing that is my biggest complaint is that you only get one font, if you count the normal then it’s two but that’s how we typing normally without Fontkey and that really made me angry because I was expecting more. But if you’re going to buy Fontkey at least read this review and it’s not really that worth it to pay.

I’ve been searching for a free fonts app for months, and I thought I finally found one. I was very exited, but when I loaded Fontkey it literally opened by saying I have to pay money to use it. Even though when you download it it does not have a price at all. I would love to have kept Fontkey and use the fonts. But
I can’t because I can’t spend $4.99 a week just for a different keyboard. Please consider making Fontkey free….please..!

If you want different keyboards than it’s better to just make your own custom. This would’ve been a 4 star maybe 5 if you could at least access 1-5 or 1-6 of the keyboards....like seriously, $4.99 a WEEK. Save your money, they may look cool and all, but like every other app there’s always a catch if you want cool keyboards. Weekly payments is too much, these keyboards aren’t even worth what it would paying weekly....I would get it if it was $4.99 a “Month”. But “PER WEEK??” Seriously you’re better off just keeping your money and spending it on something else.

I saw an add for Fontkey and thought this would be really cool... but when I went to press full access my phone warned me that Fontkey creators will be able to track everything I type! Including sensitive information like phone numbers, addresses, dates, where your at, and much more. And I wanted to check it out for fun’s sakes and there was only ONE font you could use. LIKE WHAT THE HECK!!! So I turned off everything for Fontkey and deleted it. I would highly not recommend Fontkey unless they fix these problems.

1. Asks to enable full access meaning anything you type can be sent to the developer. In the warning, it says even credit card into and home addresses. Idk abt you but that’s sketchy af.

2. this app has very little to offer with the amount of content it has AND the associated risk of transmitting keyboard info. Definitely not worth the $5 a week.

3. Because it is a weekly payment and not a onetime thing, this is clearly a moneygrab. Not even Microsoft Office is as greedy as Fontkey and that application offers a lot more than Fontkey. Fontkey should be one-time payment and even then I would MAYBE pay $5 for Fontkey as a whole, not $5 a week.

4. Boasts a 4.7 Star Rating despite most of the reviews being incredibly negative (hinting fake reviews to boost their app.)

For these four reasons I DO NOT recommend even DOWNLOADING Fontkey as it is a security risk.

At first I thought Fontkey was an amazing free app, Fontkey I always wanted. But then once I tried to type something it said I had to “unlock it” then I tried using another font, I thought it would work with another one but it didn’t work. So then I tried the faces, AND IT DIDN’T WORK. I’d rather for the things to be free instead of having to pay for everything. This is a total waste of time, I recommend you to not download this until they fix this. Thank you.

This is the best app all my friends are like how did you do that and I tell them about Fontkey and they say that the fonts and so cool and all off my friends friends ask them were they got these fonts but my thoughts are the Fontkey is cool and the fonts are cute

I gave this a one star because I am not able to use the fonts if I don’t do the full access and that means they would be able to see what I type even us my credit and number and find my street so not only do I not have any privacy what I text people I also have a chance of someone coming into my house and taking me away and that is very unsafe they need to do something to change that or I will not us Fontkey if they fix it I will us that app but right now I say no way

0/5 if i could, you need to pay for legit everything and any 3/5 or above were payed for, and my phone is acting funny and i think it now has a virus, do not download if you don’t like paying for literal crap, and just ban this company from the appstore all together. oh and everyone with a 1/5 star review you need to look at their reviews too, they go into more detail than i can, we the people want our voice herd: APPLE BAN THEM FROM Fontkey STORE!

I downloaded this and did the 3 day trial. At first I liked the ability to use different fonts. However, I quickly removed the keyboard from my settings due to it being very laggy. I have the current model of iPhone as well so that shouldn’t be an issue. Overall this keyboard will make you hate your life. It’s slow and definitely messes up my typing. On top of that they want a ridiculous 4.99 per week for a very slow interface that’s low quality.

What happened to the old Throwback emojis? They were easy to use and quick. For this one, it is difficult to use because it takes time to type and I don’t even get to copy and paste because I have to pay. I’m deleting Fontkey because it is now useless. Sure the fonts look cool, but I’m not paying $4.99/week. To me, that is just a complete waste of money. Why would you get that just to flex your texts are different? To make this easy, I will compare it per every year. On one hand, compared to other things such as Apple Music, it is $9.99/ month or ~$120/year. On the other hand, using the nice fonts with, “this app” it would cost you $4.99/week or $260/year. Now yes, it gives you one font that looks like a 𝚝𝚢𝚙𝚎𝚠𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚛. But that’s it. Do you really want to use one font that doesn’t even look that different from the normal text I’m using to type this. What’s the best you’re going to get out of spending ~$260/year just for a handful of fonts? I suggest you either change Fontkey so we can use the emojis or the customer to copy and paste the emojis yourself. Doing that takes 15 seconds. Think hard about this and please do something about it.

This is kind of just stupid since yes most apps push it onto you that you need to buy Fontkey to have most of the offers, but Fontkey? You get one keyboard other than “normal” and it does nothing when you first get it it will let you try them all out which I liked but it only gives you one other keyboard it also makes you allow it to see all your old keyboard strokes and things like your credit card info or house address. Fontkey just like all the other clickbait apps is not worth it, maybe if there was something they could do to get a 5 star review is not drag clients in and then immediately make them pay for something they only use once a week. Went to go use the old school emoji keyboard and was shown this new this app app that just isn’t it. $4.99/WEEK? When I only downloaded Fontkey for the old school emojis that I can’t even access now without shelling out $20/month? Y’all got the wrong idea and the wrong people because that’s ridiculous. God help the souls of the people that y’all scam out of $240/year for something as basic as font usage when photoshop monthly is cheaper per year than this and that’s a whole full fledged application with a multitude of uses.

I love Fontkey and use the emojis a lot in every single conversation but they need to add more (~˘▾˘)~ like there isn’t even sad ones like we need sad ones (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ but other then that I overall love Fontkey just wish there were more options \ (•◡•) / anyway hope you improve Fontkey ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

I really loved using Fontkey for all the emoticons such as the Lenny face and others, but after the update, it’s saying that I have to pay per week to use the emoticons, which I WILL NOT DO. The update ruined Fontkey that was once my favorite. Sad to say that I am going to delete Fontkey. I hope the creator of Fontkey will read the new reviews for Fontkey and revert Fontkey back to what it once was. Otherwise, the update ruined Fontkey .

Use to use Fontkey always for those faces but the newest update is horrible.
You can’t use the faces anymore and they only offer you 1 font now. If you want to use the old faces or any other font it’s 4.99 a month! I really use to like this but now it really isn’t worth it. Don’t recommend downloading it and I definitely don’t recommend paying for Fontkey .

These emojis are amazing. I love em so muchh ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪ . However, why the heck is the age rating 9+? (☉_☉) . I keep seeing emojis like ╭∩╮（︶︿︶）╭∩╮, ( ＾◡＾)っ✂╰⋃╯ , and (. )( .) ?!?!. I also see ︻╦╤─, ︻デ═一 ,╾━╤デ╦︻ ,︻╦̵̵͇̿̿̿̿╤───. I mean yeah the guns are okay but the others.. i dunno. If the others are appropriate explain, otherwise “(. )( .) “ isn’t appropriate. Thanks.

I would be fine with a one time payment but I will not pay five dollars a week just so I can type Lenny face please change it back because there is a snowflakes chance in hell that I will give you money for a product that I that I can copy paste from somewhere else. Undo the last update

It was fine before they updated it, I used to be able to use the emoticons but then they changed it to a font keyboard app and you have to pay to use the emoticons now

I got Fontkey for the text faces, and I’m disappointed that you’re now asking for money to get the original premise of Fontkey . I hate this update and I will be uninstalling. You don’t even deserve one star. I’m sure there’s an app better than yours anyway :)

I don’t know how to open and use Fontkey but I would like it more if it would tell you how

I remember i got Fontkey specifically for the lenny face and it was easy to use back then. Now you have to pay for the good emoticons and that honestly made Fontkey kinda crappy. Typewriter font is cool but it ain’t worth paying for what was free back then.

I just think that the keyboard should automatically be added

I use Fontkey to divorce/ break up with people. 10/10
