DrumKnee 3D Drums - Drum set Reviews

I have a few favorite drum apps, GarageBand and on top is drums XD, what I love about drums XD is that the possibilities are endless, then I downloaded this yesterday, I saw that i had downloaded it before, but I could not recognise the pictures, I found the version I had downloaded first in an Instagram post and remembered, DrumKnee3DDrums has grown so fast and what I love now that I can’t remember from the earlier version is that it now basically has the same customisation that drums XD offers, a bit more work to do it here but much smoother sound, there is never an electronic bump when the sound of the drums end so nice fading there, the best beside GarageBand I would say, moving cymbals and drums is always a cool effect in apps like this and last and the greatest, I can combine it with GarageBand, wich makes GarageBands drum library now even bigger in a way, can’t wait for more updates even though you have allready made two perfect jazz sets wich sounds just the right amount of vintage and few drum apps do jazz sets justice, keep on the good work, u got a new fan!🤩🤩🤩🤩

This is by far the best frigging drum app I’ve used on iPhone! I’ve downloaded probably 20 or more and everyone of them didn’t have the accurate beat and in real time. I Bluetoothed them all and every time I connected and went to tap the drums it would freeze up or it would have a 3 second delay. I downloaded DrumKnee3DDrums and not one issue! This developer is right on with DrumKnee3DDrums. I’m more than pleased! And will continue to pay for this cause it’s worth every penny. And what problem I did have turned out to be my mistake and this guy sent me easy and understandable directions. I don’t ever write reviews but I’m a drummer and all I have to say is use the free version. See how you like it. I do recommend connecting this to a big deep base speaker or good earphones cause the quality is absolutely mind blowing. And all the different features is way more than I anticipated but extremely easy to understand. Thumbs up to this dude! I mean I will let the excellent reviews speak for itself.

DrumKnee3DDrums is the best drum app out there right now, I bought and downloaded the pro version awhile back. There many cool features and different customization choices, not like all the other boring drum apps that have only one drum set that sounds the same. Even though I am giving DrumKnee3DDrums 5 star, the only problem I have with it is the annoying ads that pop up ever so often telling me to download the music part. It would nice if this didn’t pop every few minutes because it does get annoying after awhile. But now the same add is popping up again which is getting on my nerves because sometimes it pops up while I’m trying to sleep at night. And again the ad about purchasing the music keeps on popping up everyday single day, it does get very annoying especially if I’m trying to sleep or if I am doing something else with my phone and it pops up

The ideas behind DrumKnee3DDrums really are revolutionary! (This is coming from a drummer with over 10 years of experience, who is fairly proficient on an actual drum kit.) Even without using my foot to control the kick drum, I can play a lot more than I can on a ‘normal’ drum app. My only complaint with using my foot for the kick is that DrumKnee3DDrums has trouble registering doubles and complex kick patterns. I have an iPhone 5s, (not a ton of space to work with) but at any rate, I would appreciate a more customizable kit so I could move the toms and cymbals around or choose to have less on my kit to use the space better. The samples aren’t phenomenal and the ads can get annoying but overall I’d say the developer is really onto something here! This could make the drums a lot more portable and available to drummers all around the world!!

(By the way, I would be more than happy to spend $10 to unlock a ‘full version’ without ads and more kits. I am not big on the idea of a subscription simply because I do not have a ton of money lying around.)

Why am. I. Being charged 4.99 per pack to download onto my iPad when i already purchased the upgrade and i cant get a hold of anyone unless I make a fakebook account. I would give you some stars but i haven’t even used DrumKnee3DDrums even though I already payed 2 times for the upgrade 4.99x8 + the initial pro upgrade and the subscription Apple said its you charging me they don’t want to give me my refund because they don’t have enough money to build time machines. I need that money back im not in the money lending business if I need to pay again charge me for a pro upgrade not per pack. Get an email for support some dont want to make a fakebook account. Im giving you five stars for the hustle if you got me that was a good one if help a MF out 5stars and thanks DrumKnee3DDrums is good i still haven’t really tried it i haven’t got past checking it out.

This is a great drumming app for beginners and experts. It is great over all, but I have one main suggestion. How about an in-game tuner? To me the snare doesn’t sound quite right, so I would like a tuner. Maybe just to adjust the sounds of the drums to be creative. Another small suggestion I have is maybe make a mode where you can teach yourself the music. However, this would only work for people that can read drum sheet music. What I’m suggesting is maybe have a mode where the player picks a song and the notes go along the top of the screen and the player drums with it to the beat. Another small problem I have is when I use Bluetooth headphones. The sound can get a bit delayed. If I tap the drum, the sound might take another second or two to play in my headphones. Other than that a great game!

I was showing a friend this incredible app and jus as I was he was amazed that somthing as simple as a motion sensor in the phones to trigger/engaged the kick drum on the kit, brilliant after all theses years of the same thing with a slightly different name finally somthing truly innovative... as for my questions #1are there plans to release a similar version of DrumKnee3DDrums for android?#2 it's now early December will instrument position be available soon?#3 and lastly can anything be done about being able to differentiate tapping other drums with out triggering the kick drum while still having the necessary sensitivity setting for the whole idea behind DrumKnee3DDrums and what makes DrumKnee3DDrums stand above all other traditional drum sim apps? P.s. Fix the kick drum knee from triggering when tapped also let us custom position the drum kit peices and you see 5 star ratings from any true blooded percussionist 🥁🥁🥁

Family sharing was a challenge and it still wasn’t totally worked out with my kids so if you know how to get it to work without paying extra for each kid then this is a good app to play around with. I’m not sure about the music though. It says you can use the developers music for free (with your paid subscription) for 3 days. If that’s the case then I’m not so happy about that as I have it for my young kids’ iPad and I don’t have iTunes music or anything on their iPad. Seriously, parental controls and adding new games is enough to deal with if your a busy single parent. So if music disappears in three days then, for me, it wouldn’t be worth it. But for older kids who pay for a subscription and have access to their own music it should be awesome! I have a 16 year old who would love this! And remember, if you do have issues the support is really great!

It is really good but not as many ergonomics like a two TOM drum set or a actual double bass set and not as many skate punk bands like Lagwagon or NOFX and strung out and no use for a name and pulley,bad religion, mxpx, the descendents, rich kids on LSD, the vandals. Please respond to this creator and add these songs from these punk bands may 16, justified black eye, fleas, linoleum, American Jesus, stranger than fiction, play it loud I don’t wanna grow up and on the out side. Thanks for reading creator if this becomes an update I will be so happy and add the Jared dines drums ergonomic he is a YouTuber and add mr coffee by lagwagon,along with may 16 ,NOFX fleas, linoleum, nufan on the outside, justified black eye, bad Religion, stranger than fiction, American Jesus, play it loud by mxpx. This drum program to me is the most fun, flexible and great sounding as well as versatile programs with many great kits. The kits provided are tuned, live and they sound premium and the ability to adjust the scenario, venue, the tone, by means of adjusting condenser mics by faders and effects for instance- reverb, compression and room size... like a drum isolation booth or an open live room and everything in between... adjust it for your mix... hahahahaha people it’s just fun, and great for live playing with a jam band or recording. I give it high five for the developer who has put so much into it and continues to add for the love of drumming. This would be my choice if for some reason I occasionally couldn’t access my kit and needed to practice and innovate. It satisfies my sweet tooth. It’s a fantastic and authentic and entertaining tool. Thank you for making it happen. I recommend it.

I’ve probably downloaded every drum app available at one time or another and by far this is the best one I’ve ever experienced. Most drum apps are garbage, RealDrums had pretty much set the bar in my opinion and has been my go to drum app for years, but ever simce DrumKnee3DDrums came out, I have uninstalled all my other drum apps and have poured hours into playing only this one. The 3D drums and cymbals give such a realistic feel when playing. I love the variety of drum skins and different cymbal colors. Very much looking forward to the late November update for DrumKnee3DDrums. I would like to hear some different china cymbals, and come on baby give me a splash cymbal! Keep up the great work, you’ve definitely outdone yourselves, looking forward to more from 3D Drumknee!!

I’m a female musician who primarily plays the guitar, and I’m 2/3 of the way from forming a band. However part of forming the band revolves around writing a particular song, and to conduct proper auditions for our 3rd member, a drummer, I need to finish writing the song, including what we want and need for the percussion parts. In order to compose these parts without having to actually buy a drum kit myself, I searched and tested several virtual kits with the ability to export recorded files for mixing. This is the BEST one. It works great on both iPhone and iPad, although I did encounter a small technical issue in its operation on the iPad, it is not significant enough to diminish the 5 star rating I feel DrumKnee3DDrums deserves. Now I can play the drums at 2am and no one cares! 😁

This little innocuous app is worth purchasing an iPad. It allows you without any nonsense or gimmicks to play drums (with a variety of drum sets to choose from) along with your favorite songs. This has a two fold benefit in that first off, you start to learn and get the feel of a commercially recorded song. Instead of boring metronomes, DrumKnee3DDrums will give you the real feeling that was originally recorded. I’m using this to essentially beef up my drumming which leaves much to be desired. The second aspect not entirely self evident at first is just pure fun and enjoyment. Sometimes I’d rather play with DrumKnee3DDrums than turn my professional recording studio on just because it takes literally no learning curve to get the most out of DrumKnee3DDrums .

Awesome! I’m in a living situation where I can’t play my real drums, but these have extremely satisfying response for to an actual drummer, considering that it’s still a phone app with no hardware other than the phone.
Started trying out all kinds of drum & percussion apps to get my 2-year-old daughter interested and this one ended up being for me. The knee-triggered kick is great, however is a bit of an adjustment being a toe-down/heel-up drummer who has mastered double-strokes on BD pedal. Either way, this is one of the very few apps of which I was willing to pay for the “Pro” features and do NOT regret. Wait until they offer 75% off and get for $4.99.

I upgraded to pro version on my iphone and then downloaded it to my iPad. The in app purchase section in DrumKnee3DDrums download page show I already purchased DrumKnee pro, but I still don’t have it in my iPad, instead it is just the free version. I am required to buy it again via iPad. I hope it’s just the issue that I didn’t find the sync button.

Remember there is a restore purchase button on the top left corner when you go to the store tap in the menu. Just tap it then your purchase will be there.

Is DrumKnee3DDrums good enough for live shows? For professional use? DrumKick is. But does DrumKnee3DDrums measure up or is it just a toy for kids and novice? I will say great job on the authentic sound, it’s just like a real drum, but is that it? DrumKick was made for performance, what is this for? I want to try this in live performance but I’m scared because it appears to be unstable and I can’t risk it in live situations. DrumKick like I said was made for just that... live performance. If DrumKnee3DDrums can prove to be more stable I would prefer this, but for now my need are met with DrumKick.

The sounds are really nice, and very realistic, and the kits are great. I expected playing some soft hits and hard hits like when you tap it softly or hardly but it’s not in DrumKnee3DDrums , it would be great. And there’s something wrong with the snare like when the second sound of the snare won’t change volume or pitch. Only the first sound will for some reason, hopefully you can fix that too. One more thing, Since It’s December, I wonder why the customization hasn’t come out yet since it says is gonna be out in late November, even though the customization isn’t done, it’s fine. I’m okay with that. Once again, the best drumming app. Really love it. Sorry for asking too much.....

I LOVE DrumKnee3DDrums. I’ve used and looked at so many drum apps on the store but none of them are anywhere near as good as this, and I really like using this since I’m always at school or I can’t play on my acoustic set up when I’m not with my electric one. It was a great idea to make DrumKnee3DDrums and allow u to use your knee. It’s always a pain in the but to try and tap a bass drum while your really jamming to a song or beat😂😂. Really the only problem with DrumKnee3DDrums is the sensitivity is hard to get right, especially for double bass, but I’m still surprised it’s as good at it is. Awesome job dude!!!! 🥁 🥁 🥁

As an aspiring drummer this is one of the best drum apps out there. However i do have a few suggestions and noticed some stuff .when im playing snare along with any of the crash cymbals other than hi hat the cymbals will choke themselves when i want the sound to draw out. Also i noticed some latency issues when i was drumming to 115 by elena seigman. I would love to be able to adjust my cymbal setup as well as adjust the sensitivity of the bass drum because sometimes ill be bassing quarter notes and sometimes a random eighth note will pop up. Thank u im sorry if this was lengthy.

I love DrumKnee3DDrums. Its so cool to be able to tap your foot and make music WITH YOUR PHONE!!! All the other drum apps you have to manually tap the bass pedal. Not so here! On other drum apps, the delay from tap to sound is large, and while this one isn't perfect, it sure is great! It's awesome to be able to customize the foot tap/kick sensitivity and be able to tune the drums. I love playing along to songs and the recording process is easy and efficient. This drum app is better than every other drum app I've downloaded!

Keep updating this is by far one of the best drumming apps out there. It sounds great, looks great, and it has a motion censor kick! Dude this is a brilliant game. I plan on keeping for a very long time. But there is something wrong with the subscription . I could download pro no problem, but when it comes to subscription it says there is no internet connection, when my internet is working. I’m a little confused. But I’m sure you can help me. But otherwise this is a five star game. :)
