What is Buoycast? Buoycast is an app that provides real-time observations from over 800 NOAA NDBC buoys. It also offers current NOAA watches, warnings, and advisories to keep users safe. The app allows users to save their favorite buoys and view the closest buoy to their location. Buoycast Pro offers additional features such as interactive weather maps, notifications for NOAA watches, warnings, and advisories, and the ability to customize the Buoycast feed.

- Data available includes wind speed, gust, and direction, air and water temperature, atmospheric pressure, wave height, direction and period, NOAA Marine Forecasts, tide predictions, sunrise and sunset, moon phase, moon rise, and moon set, and UV Index.
- Subscription information: Payments are made via iTunes account and will auto-renew within 24 hours of expiration. Users can manage this in Account Settings and turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before expiration to let Buoycast Pro lapse.

Inaccuracies
Even though I have location services on it cannot determine my location and only provides sites along the Texas Coast. I’m on the Mississippi Gulf Coast but the buoys I want are not even on the list. How do I remove buoys from the list?

I use to always go to my weather on my VHF but now there is no more need. This app gives you a quick glance at weather and sea conditions with no need to listen to all the stuff you do t need.
