This is a real App for amateurs practicing music who wish bring excellence to their daily practice. You play with orchestras and high quality back tracks that adapt to YOUR interpretation! Looping feature quite useful... High quality sheets and expanding repertoire.

+1 for the Watch App with amazing tuner that works independently from the iPhone.

I wish they propose options to import scores so we could stay focused in one place.

I have been searching a while for a serious Music App to practice, learn and have fun with my violin. After looking around for a while, Metronaut is the one: It allows you to practice with high-quality play alongs and learn new pieces step by step while getting feedback. The support is sleek and the team behind updates the catalog and improves MetronautSheetMusic and features regularly.

I highly highly recommend MetronautSheetMusic for any musician who is wanting to mess around with different pieces. (especially those solo and ensemble kids in Texas.) Find your solo on here and practice with an accompaniment will make your practice sessions more entertaining and your pianist (or orchestra take your pick) will be much less frustrated with you. To bump a star because it’s such a big deal. If you’re listening to the piece so you can know how it needs to sounds. Frequently the soloist will be playing out of time with the accomp.

MetronautSheetMusic has huge potential, specifically preparing orchestral musicians. I play horn and if there were more big orchestra pieces! That is a lot to ask for, but i feel like that would largely improve MetronautSheetMusic and grab a large amount of attention! Pieces like any of Strauss’s tone poems or Brahms Symphonies would provide a great opportunity to practice excerpts in context.

I miss playing in ensembles a great deal, so this is a good substitute. Although I wish I could get rid of the blue line keeps the beats. It’s inaccurate at times and my adhd brain gets distracted by it. I know you can turn it off before you “start practicing” but it should be an option in the menu to permanently turn it off.

MetronautSheetMusic is amazing and has many options for practicing, i just wish there were more free pieces available so it would help people to maybe be more motivated to pay the subscription. Also having more free to play pieces could be beneficial to beginner players who want to test an app or pieces to see if theyd like to proceed with that app or become comfortable with certain pieces they like.

I play bass clarinet mainly and when I saw MetronautSheetMusic I decide to download it to pass off the time. But when it told me to choose an instrument there was only Bb clarinet not bass. So I tried it with the Bb and it keeps say all my notes are wrong when I know they are right. So MetronautSheetMusic either needs a bigger selection of instruments or needs to be tweaked for different octaves.

I really like the functions in MetronautSheetMusic. It listens through and adjust according to how I play. I also like the new features (still in Beta) format, where MetronautSheetMusic gives you advice on the quality of your playing and where you went wrong

MetronautSheetMusic is hands down the thing I needed to pick up my cello after not playing for 10 years. Where was MetronautSheetMusic when I was younger!? Would love to see more pieces available but very satisfied with the ones that are already here. Thank you!

The piano accompaniment is off a few measures with the solo on a lot of songs. It makes MetronautSheetMusic useless if the accompaniment and solo is off sync. If this is fixed then it’s 5 stars. For now 1 Star.

Update: developer responded promptly and fixed the issue. Review updated to 5/5 and I ended up purchasing the premium service

Cool app! There’s a pretty good library of music and a lot of settings to adjust. I was just thinking I wished I had the Suzuki method growing up and MetronautSheetMusic offers a few options, like playing along, hearing the music as you learn a new piece, that are similar.

Some of the music I would love to have is no where to be found. The treatment of the pop and non classical music is very elementary. I do like the fact that you can change the tempo and the key of the songs. I would like to see some of the more popular solos with accompaniment available.

Metronaut was a God sent app. This is going to expand my cello solo repertoire beyond what I could ever imagine. The practice features are so helpful and accurate. This takes my performance level to another level.

I’ve been using MetronautSheetMusic to help me continue to practice since this whole pandemic is going on. Its helped me stay in tune, in time and help me to remember what it’s like to play with others. It’s got a lot of great pieces for horn players.

I love MetronautSheetMusic so much. It’s engaging and fun with pieces at all levels. I recommend it to my friends all the time. It also has some cool Apple Watch features as well.

Great idea for an app!! It’s been nice to get back into playing my cello and I owe it to MetronautSheetMusic. Definitely a couple features are missing. I would love MetronautSheetMusic to have a tuner. Lots of good scores are missing. Import feature will be a big plus.

I have been playing with this for a year now and can’t practice without it. I play flute and recommend it to anyone from amateurs to professionals looking for an accompaniment for solos.

Instead of going on a website to spend $40-$50 on two pieces that I can’t even play along with an orchestra , I spend $4 here and got 2 amazing pieces to play WITH AN ORCHESTRA. It’s amazing.

Accompaniments are the best and most helpful I have found. Worth paying for. Wish there were intonation tools included. Perhaps in a next version?

So many favorites and interesting pieces on here if we had the ability to make a custom playlists MetronautSheetMusic would be flawless

I love the concept, MetronautSheetMusic enables you to practice on your own along piano or orchestral accompaniments with plenty of features to help you. I play the violin and noticed new scores are added regularly which is great as it makes you discover new pieces to practice. The design also looks really nice compared to other accompaniment app ;-)

This is an amazing music app for musicians and it works well, but when your free trial is up which doesn’t even last long, it’s all over.

This is by far, the best app I own.

My violin practice is extremely enjoyable now. The price is a steal for what they give you here. It’s gorgeous, creative, fun and extremely instructive.

Keep the new scores coming. The more you import the more obsolete you make every single music app on the market. I would not go anywhere else.

I don’t like it when you buy a piece and it’s very expensive I think violy is better because I don’t don’t have to pay lots of money for a piece and I think all musicians can have the ability to have all pieces for FREE.

I like MetronautSheetMusic. It’s so amazing but I rated MetronautSheetMusic 4 star because it’s don’t have ukulele. Whyyyy?
A little bit disappointed

I play with an orchestra. There is nothing like that magic when we are all on the same wavelength and join tempos without saying a word. But when we use an accompaniment track, it is always dead, somehow.

Until now. Having dynamic accompaniment through Metronaut unlocked something in my playing. Especially being able to use it while alone in my room and with/without headphones, it allowed for experimentation and the ability to comfortably play at any dynamic. I discovered a whole new style for when I play the viola. This interplay between my playing and Metronaut helped me internalize the music at lightning speed. I remember how it felt to play after I was done.

I highly recommend MetronautSheetMusic for all classical musicians, period!

Edit: I’m changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars because MetronautSheetMusic itself is great, and the developer is very responsive, which is a great attribute. I can’t go higher than 3, though, because the nickel-and-diming of a hundred services is not good, and I can’t support that.

Well, so much for that. I had built up some nauts to “purchase” some music... and TODAY they switched MetronautSheetMusic to a subscription-based model, so I lost all the virtual money I had saved up. 10 lousy minutes per month for free, and then you have to pay for more? No thanks. I had just raved about MetronautSheetMusic earlier this week to an Orchestra I play with and shared on Facebook LAST NIGHT! They all LOVED the idea of a reward-based system instead of subscribing like other apps. Now I have to recant my endorsement and delete my Facebook post because I don’t share something I’m not excited about. I don’t do subscription services like this because eventually you’re spending a lot of money per month with multiple services. You don’t notice it when you sign up... just when all the bills come. I really liked MetronautSheetMusic, too. I’m disappointed.
