Please update!

Wow . LOVE WeeklyPlanner! There are a few things that would just make it so much better than it already is! I would love to be able to change font colors for different event entries instead of changing the font color of everything I type all at once. Also, please allow for highlighting certain text in different colors as well! I’d also love to cross off events with a line through the text once the events are done. Also, crossing off the entire day as each day passes with a big diagonal line just like I do on my paper planner! Also, please make it so I can outline a specific day in a chosen color in case it’s an important day like a birthday or test taking day. Also, please add “bi-weekly” repeating events and the ability to share my calendar with my friends so they can see and/or edit it. Just these few additions would immensely help ! Other than these, I love how similar WeeklyPlanner is to my paper planner. Exactly what I was on the hunt for, thank you! I’ll definitely change to 5 stars and tell all my friends once these updates are made!

Highly recommend

I absolutely love this! When I was able to work I lived and died by my Franklin Covey planner. Once disabled I could no longer afford them and still needed to track birthdays, doctors, vet appointments, etc. I have been picking up planners at hobby or box stores stores. But it’s becoming more and more difficult to match a refill with the cover you’ve invested in. WeeklyPlanner is everything I could have wished for and more. It’s true -you feel you have a paper planner in your hand that you carry in your phone! The pages turn, you can easily have repeating events, edit- everything you can do w a paper planner. I am so happy to have found this!

Easy Peasy

I was looking for a calendar that only shows the current week with space enough to type enough about an appointment to be easily read, with pages that flip back to previous weeks and ahead to upcoming weeks. Therefore, I was glad to come across this calendar that does exactly that. Although it does not provide a different color ink to call attention to an important event or special occasion, it does accept emoji that can serve that purpose. It is also easy to modify or make a notation before or after an event has occurred. It’s perfect for my needs and makes it very easy to keep track of all that is essential.

Reoccurring events

I love WeeklyPlanner. It’s just like having a tablet with you but with multiple days and months. I have only one problem the system keeps adding my reoccurringevents to the same day. I use this for a lot of to do. I will have like 30 to do and then it add the same list to that day and now I have 60 items for that day. When I delete one of the list it come back when I move to another day. Then when I move to the next day there it is my to do list and a duplicate list. It makes me have less room to make notes. The only other thing is I would like to have check off square.

Weekly Planner

I just got WeeklyPlanner and I really like it. I’m still learning. I do wish WeeklyPlanner had a check box automatically. Then tap the box and it automatically marks a check, or a forward (An arrow) and (an X) for delete. Also maybe an option to forward a task to another day (like an arrow pointing to the left) showing that the task didn’t get done today but it’s forward to another day. And add an (X) to mark that an item is deleted. I love the weekly planning, I think WeeklyPlanner has a lot of room to grow. This is going to be a great tool for me. So glad it’s been created, keep up with the good work. Happy Camper.

Frustrated

I was really excited about WeeklyPlanner. I had seen complaints about information disappearing, so before I downloaded WeeklyPlanner I made sure to update my phone first. This was the advice from WeeklyPlanner creators.
My complaint is with repeating posts. I would set a post to repeat every day or week. Twice I went to cancel a repeat as I was trying to organize my time and appointments. Both times the repeat canceled fine, but both times when I went back to the calendar all my information was gone. The information was not saved, but I don’t understand why I would have to keep saving it every time I need to cancel a reoccurring post. If I forget, then I lose a bunch of information. It’s extremely frustrating.

In progress not perfect...Yet

This is what I have been looking for in an app. I use it for daily calendar and journal for the week. It is simple yet what I need. The only cons are it needs to support Apple Pencil. And more themes. Let’s face it the themes are kinda out dated to say the least.

But in my opinion if you added to support Apple Pencil and better themes. It would make WeeklyPlanner worth paying 4.99. I paid the coffee because to me it worth that. Add the Apple Pencil support and better themes and I will gladly update my review to a 5star. And upgrade to the beer. Smiles.

Love this!

This little planner pages set is a gem. So simple, just like writing on a paper planner. Turning from page to page is so easy. I use it to jot down main things and quick notes pertaining to each day. I can put in birthdays way ahead like my paper planner. It will put in reoccurring events weekly and monthly, even yearly, for you. I like it a lot! I even use the past empty pages to keep my shopping and errands lists. When I’m done with several additions or changes, I just back it up in the iCloud. It’s so great! 👌

Updated review

So this is my updated review since i learned how to use this very simple app. I wrote a previous review that was not in favor of WeeklyPlanner, obviously i wasn’t doing the correct thing to upload and download. Since I started doing this correctly WeeklyPlanner works great, i want a simple calendar that i can write down the day to day operations and attendance at work and this does that perfectly. I can view the entire week at a glance and is super simple to use. Totally worth the $5.00.

Please read and please get this app over others

I’m happy it doesn’t charge you monthly, only 5$ one time payment only. I think it’s good without the payment too. I love the way it feels like a notebook because the other apps I’ve seen ARENT like that and in my mind it feels messier. I can schedule clients and jobs and everything. I love how you can add as much text as you want so maybe if you wanted to use it as a dream journal or your plans for the day are long. WeeklyPlanner is perfect and I love it so much.

Very nice

Perfect and simple, but cute planner. I like how the pages turn like in a book. I’ve been using WeeklyPlanner for months now. You can write so much down for any day. You just have to scroll down in “that day’s writing window”. You can see what you planned in the past, and turn the pages forward to plan ahead. Also you can save to iCloud. Great simple but cute app. Maybe just a few more holiday themes or we can customize with our own background pics. Thanks guys!

Straight forward

I like that you can see the whole week at once and that you just list items without added features like bullet points or check marks. What I don't like is that I type things in and go back to find them missing. I realized you have to press enter after you are done typing. This should be explained, prompted or not needed at all. It should save what you typed right away.

By

Needs some updates

I have been using this for a while as a daily log to where I enter in the job numbers that the customer gives me. There has been multiple times that even though I did not close all the way out of WeeklyPlanner it still lost everything that I have entered in for that day. I would suggest a “update and save” feature. Something that will save the data that you have entered in and update it to all of your devices that are linked. Other than that I love WeeklyPlanner and now I just know to back up or screen shot my entries before I put faith and trust of them still being there when I return to WeeklyPlanner .

By

Needs some basic features added.

Warning: It’s a trial with a $.99 fee after. Every thing entered should automatically save after typing—it’s required to hit “Done” to store anything. My biggest issue with it is that there is no bi-weekly repeat option—this would be ideal for things like payroll which is done every other week for most. Also, quarterly would be helpful &/or create your own interval like the the second Tuesday of the month as an example. Not sure I will keep WeeklyPlanner if these options aren’t available.

By

It’s just a to do list

WeeklyPlanner is just a one week trial. After that it costs $5. Not bad but all it does is give you a defined day section to make todo list. There is no way to categorize the tasks. There is no way to assign the time of day to perform the tasks. There is no way to check them off as complete. All you can do is delete them. The only way to move tasks not completed to a different day/week is to copy/paste. There is no way to create recurring tasks. All of this makes it too cumbersome to be practical. Might as well just use a note pad.

Love it!!!

Please keep this one going, I don’t like the new more complex planner. This one is simple and to the point!!!! I love everything about this, simple, beautiful! Love the way the pages turn like a book. Only suggestion is more themes please.... I love changing them. 😁😁😁 Where do I contact the developer? I would love too see a notepad added somewhere and more backgrounds! Love it use it daily! Convenient!!!

IT’S NOT FREE

This seems like an amazing app and great job for thinking of it, but it is not free. While reading through the description, it says nothing about subscriptions, and so I thought it was free for the basic, and then more for addins. If you can afford it get WeeklyPlanner, I can’t, but it is a very pretty and organized app. Please make sure it’s clear that you need a subscription, since it was quite disappointing to find out you did when it wasn’t advertised. Thank you,

Need help please…

I just installed WeeklyPlanner a few weeks ago & unable to create auto events? I do see reoccurring events in settings & it only says “No reoccurring events” for
Everyday
Every week
Every month
Every year

But again There’s no option, Even When making an event, appointment, birthday, bills Etc doesn’t in anyway give me the option to do so…

I really wanna love WeeklyPlanner! but if unable to set up regular events without having to input them everyyy singleee timeee i mean especially with the simplicity as annual birthdays! I’ll have to uninstall. I’ve never come across any stock or installed apps that I’m not given the opportunity of my choosing to add anything ongoing?…

I’d appreciate it if you could please get back to me! I don’t use WeeklyPlanner because of this problem & have no idea why I’ve even waited this long to reach out.

Thank you,

Stormie Rae.

Great planner

This was the only planner app I could find that was both simple and useful. It lets you use free text and you can see the entire week on one screen. The other planner apps make you create an event every time you want to add a task to the calendar, which is too time consuming. The only downside to WeeklyPlanner is that it doesn't sync with iCal, but that is not as important to me.

By

Yessss

No data collection. No subscription, just 4.99 up front and 1.99 for additional layouts. This the 3rd app I have tried for a weekly/planner. I did consider getting a paperback planner, but it is august so I would only use part of the planner. As an added bonus I save money by not having to buy a new planner every year AND my info is secure.

By

Great

So great! I know all my plans instead of having to look at the calendar. Although, I love colors you should be able to have different colored words. Example if I am a Mom that uses this I might have 7 kids that all do things I need shouldn't have to type their name too (but I'm not a mom) Thank you for taking your time to read this.🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

More functionality needed

For an app I had to pay for, this should have more functionality. I just had to reinstall WeeklyPlanner because it would not allow me to delete any recurring events. There were no recurring events posted in settings but they kept popping up every day anyway. There should also definitely be a check off feature to use when events are complete. Will change my rating when these features are functional. Otherwise good app.

Love this planner

I honestly love this planner. I love the week view and the simplicity of it. The only thing I’d like to see if possible is a notes section that could be added to the top by where you access the month view. To add notes that aren’t tied to a specific day. That would give me everything in one app

By

If it only synced with iOS calendar and was searchable

I’ve searched for years for a weekly day planner type app and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WeeklyPlanner....except for two basic calendar functions:

1. It doesn’t sync with the native iPhone calendar which means I’d have to go through my entire calendar and try to re-type everything that I’ve already got scheduled on my calendar for the next 1-2 years.

2. It also has no way to search for an event. So if I can’t remember when I’ve scheduled something and want to search for it, there’s no way to find it other than flipping through page after page until I find it.

Please fix these two basic features every calendar app should have and you’d have the PERFECT day planner/calendar app!

Too small

I really like WeeklyPlanner and the idea and the layout...but the lines are too small for me to read when opened. If I spread the lines open they are good, but once you close WeeklyPlanner an re-open it it stays small. I think being able to make the font a larger size would keep it, but you can only go so big. Unusable for me at this point. Please fix this and I will use.

By

Simple and good

This is exactly what I was looking for since an app that I used to use got deleted from WeeklyPlanner Store. The simplicity is exactly what I was looking for. Only thing I wish this had was a clearer format and a more clear highlight on today’s date. Maybe even in lost form or add the list form as an option.

By

Love this planner!!

So easy to use. I really appreciate the look of the planner. They have kept it nice to look at, like one I would buy. I use the purple theme. One of the nice features is you can repeat an event. No longer entering Church every Sunday. No longer entering To Do items on their days. Enter once, then choose repeat!

By

Good weekly planner but would love a few added features

I would pay extra if this calendar could sync with my Icalendar and if there was an easy way to check off things as done on the planner. Love this planner though. Works well.

Does a great job.

WeeklyPlanner is simple and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. You can keep a diary and it’s very simple to use. It looks like a diary on the phone and works like a diary but it only does that one thing. But that is all I wanted and this is WeeklyPlanner for me.

By

Not sure if worth it?

I downloaded and so far it’s kind of what I’m looking for except you can’t change colors to write different things or no stickers or anything I upgraded and paid the 5 dlls but didn’t do anything different very simple menu needs more options to highlight or write in different colors or add events I was expecting more since I had paid for it

By

Wish you could use a pencil to write in the pages in your own handwriting.

Love the set up of WeeklyPlanner and how simple it is to use. But I was looking for an app that I could write in my own handwriting. Great App other than that.

Overall Good

I have been using WeeklyPlanner for about 2 months in place of an agenda book. Just today, WeeklyPlanner immediately closed upon me opening it. Is there a fix for this?
