FreshGoGo Asian Grocery & Food Reviews

When the Covid-19 started last April, we were so afraid to go to supermarket or grocery store to shop, one of my friend told me that she uses this online grocery delivery app and recommend me to try. The min order was $20 so why not !
There are lot of selections, vegetable, meat, seafood, snacks, drinks and restaurant food from flushing. I was very surprised there are many selections to choose from, I placed my first order with nearly $200. I received my first order around 11pm, a little later then I expected, however giving that we were at the difficult time, just happy that I was able to receive food without leaving the house. I unpacked my order and there were several items missing, I contacted the customer service, it took 2 days to reply however they were able to give me the credit for the missing item to use for future purchase.
Overall experience was ok, I been using their service since, easier for me than going to supermarket.

I was surprised to read so many negative reviews about Freshgogo. It saved my life (literally) during COVID time and it has been my go to place when I was craving for authentic Chinese foods. Their produce has always been fresh and the prices for most items are reasonable (similar to what you can get in local Asian market, except you don’t need to drive anymore). The only time that I had issue with a fruit order was well solved in a timely manner through WeChat customer service. The delivery was never after 7pm and mostly in the afternoon (I’m in MA). Yes sometimes very small part of the order was out of stock but the benefits are way over problems in my experience. Let’s give each other a break and be a kinder person, especially after 2020.

I have been using FreshGogo’s grocery delivery service for a while now. I eat a lot of vegetables and our local grocery store doesn’t have many selections of leafy green vegetables. FreshGogo offers a ton of leafy green vegetable selections, and they are fresh and with good quality. The home delivery service also makes it so convenient for me. The closest Asian grocery store is 30 mins away. I love I can get FreshGogo delivered to my door step. The minimum order to receive free delivery is very reasonable and they deliver on-time. I will continue to be a customer of FreshGogo and recommend others to FreshGogo too.

I would have given a 0 star if I could. I bought 4 items from Freshgogo, one of them was just bought to get free shipping since they could only do free shipping for orders over $49. Guess what? When I received the order, there is ONLY ONE item in the box and it is what I bought to get free shipping. ALL other three are CANCELED! There was NO notice or email or text message upfront mentioning other three are stock out or cancelled! I found that out myself when I open the box! I contacted customer service and she said they DON’T KNOW whether they have stock or not when customers put down orders. It is only on the delivery day that they would know. How do you sell if you have NO IDEA about the stock level?!! This is ridiculous!

如果可以打零分我应该会打零分！第一次在Freshgogo上买东西，总共买了四件，有一件单纯是为了凑单免运费买的（因为$49以上才免运费）。收到以后打开盒子才发现只有为了凑单买的一件到了，其他三件都偷偷被取消了！！！之前完全没有通知说没货！邮件短信还有app上的消息都显示订单正常！ 联系客服时客服竟然说他们之前无法预知库存，结果就先让客户下单，配送日当天备货时才知道有没货！连有没有货都不知道，这做的什么物流卖的什么东西！

他们的没有好好培训客服，并且商品供应的情况非常糟糕。和客服说问题，客服就是避重就轻，草草了事，如果是他们app自己的问题就破罐子破摔。并且他们的商品供应很有问题，下单的时候都有，送货前一周都有，一到送货前两个小时就没有了。不是一次两次，是经常出现，每次都要送货了才突然说没货，严重的时候将近一半订单都临时没货。明明除了和餐厅的合作的菜，没有线下销售纯线上，连个仓库储备订单数加加减减都做不好，非要等送了才知道没货。客服理所当然地说为了保持新鲜这个很正常；但通常没货的都不是对日期新鲜特别敏感的商品。以前这种情况还好一点，现在越来越夸张；他们这个系统根本就不智能，后台没有管理，客服也不在意。

They have very unprofessional service and very poor managed supply. The online chat staff don’t really care what is happing and just want to get things done. Also the they keep telling me the thing I brought was not in stock a couple of hours before delivery; this happens many times, sometimes nearly half of the order is not in stock and they told me this is very normal. I used FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood because some items here are not available on other apps; but most of the case those items would be not in stock. They have this problem for long time and they don’t improve , and let it get worse.

I used to shop on local supermarket, but one of my friends ordered FreshGoGo every other day and recommended me to try. This was my first order on FreshGoGo and the service is amazing. I placed an order 11:00Am before the delivery day and received the order 3pm on delivery day. Vege is fresh and quality is better than local supermarket and the meat is high quality too. It is so convenient and the food is good and also the delivery time is just before I prepare my family’s dinner. I am here to suggest everyone to try FreshGoGo.

I’ve been using FreshGoGo since the pandemic began and ordered 5 deliveries to my doorstep. Overall the service is pretty good. All the products are fresh, wrapped well and in good quality for the price. It’s very convenient and saves my time. The restaurant meals and Asian snacks are the bonus (hope they’ll have more snacks in the future).

I notice that FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood design has been improved. So it’s pretty easy to navigate through the system. Will keep using the service.

This is a very convenient app. I live in East Lansing and there is no Asian supermarket nearby. I can buy Asian vegetables and snacks that my family loves on freshgogo, and I can deliver them to my home. It is very convenient. And freshgogo often has discounts. Some meats are cheaper than what I can buy in the supermarket. There are also semi-finished products from restaurants in New York. You can eat a lot of delicious food without going out. I like it very much.

至今为止最差的APP，都没有客服电话号码。要自己去提货，关键是提货的地点经常换还没有通知你。联系客服只能微信联系，然后排队10个人等。客服态度也很差。不知道为什么freshgogo故意隐藏电话号码？难道有什么难言之隐？
The worst app! Ok, let’s try whether you can the customer contact phone number? I believe not, both from FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood and their official website. The pick up address changed without any notice to us. Drive through the whole parking lot for 30 minutes, and walked outside for 10min with 90F hot weather. And the funny thing is try to chat with customer service from WeChat, which is the only way you can find, it shows wait in lane after 10 people! Can’t figure out the reason for hiding the contact phone number? Something under dark?

I just had my second baby on January 2, and I also have a 3 year old daughter. So to say I have my hands full is an understatement, that being said. I heard freshgogo from my friend and decided to try it. I got very fresh vegetables and fruits, and the package is amazing. I use FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood every week, it saves my time. This is a lifesaver for my family. I don’t think I will ever have to take the grocery shopping any more, it is great!    ‍ ‌ 

It's a good app. I really like the delivery service! I order the food online and it will be delivered to my door directly. It’s very convenient. And thanks to FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood, I can get the delicious food from New York every week. I like restaurants such as Zaozaoqian and Daban. They are delicious. Also the veggies are very fresh. I heard that they are supplied directly from the farms. And packagings are very great. They look quite clean and neat. Anyway, I highly recommend FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood.

I love FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood since I down load it several weeks ago. I use it almost every week since I can get twice delivery per week. I can find fresh vegetables and fruits, meat and seafood and even prepared food in the store online. It updates often and the customer service is the most efficient ones I’ve ever met. Will recommend to my friends definitely.

Was working great until two updates ago. Now the favorites list is useless. You can’t add items directly to the cart from there. Instead you would have to click into the item and add from the item’s own page. What makes it even worse is when you exit that page, FreshGoGoAsianGroceryFood brings you back to the very top of the favorites list instead of the position of the last item you viewed so you would need to scroll down every time. Such an obvious bug if they use it themselves they would know.

Decent enough for grocery shopping. You can find most of the items you’d see in an Asian grocery store. Sometimes more expensive than some of the Asian grocery places. They also partner with quite a few restaurants and bakeries, so you’ll get some ready to eat items.
The UX/UI is very poor: App design, layout, whole experience... Just not as easy or intuitive as what you would expect for a good App. Customer service is only available via WeChat.

I’ve been ordering since discovering FreshGoGo by seeing one of their delivery trucks on the street Dec. 2020. Thought I’d give it a try and have been able to stock both my and my elderly parents’ fridge with Chinese vegetables, etc. We even gave a try a couple of the city’s Chinese restaurants that ship with them. 5pm-11pm delivery time works out great, too!

FreshGoGo keeps changing their pick-up service without any notification to customers. In my area, it requested customers to pick up orders at their truck at first. Then, it asked customers to pick up orders at a Chinese restaurant. Now, it changes it back and it asks customers to pick up at the truck again. I went, got confused and figured out their changes by myself. The worst is the attitude of their drivers. It feels like that they wanted to hit you when you were late due to their changes of the pick up service.

I was a fan of Freshgogo. BUT when I was eating the fried chicken rolls that bought from Freshgogo this Monday, I felt that there was a really hard thing in my mouth, and took away part of my tooth. And it turns out that was a little part of glass!!! I am so lucky that spit that glass. I cannot imagine that if I had swallowed that, what would have happened now, maybe badly injury to my organs ? How could you put a piece of glass in your chicken roll? How could you pass the FDA inspection? Is that your secret recipe for the chicken roll? Now I am consulting that with my lawyer and I have to fill my teeth.

I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews. freshgogo went to Cary NC last December, it has been the BEST fresh Asian grogery delivery service so far.

They do still have a lot area to be improved, but as a customer, I observed how fast they grow and how well they listen.

My family rely on Freshgogo so heavily, we now order twice each week, from fresh vegetables to New York restaurant takeouts, especially we love the Asian snacks that you cants find anywhere else.

My family has been truly enjoyed Freshgogo, and I wish everyone who read those negative reviews would also read mine, to have a fair view of it.

I have been using freshgogo for more than two years and recommended it to all my Asian friends. Its grocery prices are lower than our local stores with high quality guaranteed. For any quality concerns, their customer service agents responded quickly and solved the problem.
