Bushnell Golf Legacy Products Reviews

I just got the new V5 shift and linked it to BushnellGolfLegacyProducts and it works great. They must have updated this application to address all of the previous concerns because I have not had any problems. There is also this neat flyby feature for each hole that I really like. If you’re looking for distance to the flag or a visible object on the hole I would recommend using that actual Bushnell device to get a definite range. BushnellGolfLegacyProducts is useful off the tee to get a better feel for the hole and how far you need to hit it get to the spot your aiming for. It is especially useful on a course you have not played/for doglegged holes or hidden greens. Only thing is that it will show your distance to the hole relative to where your Bushnell is located, so make sure to have it next to you when using BushnellGolfLegacyProducts . Overall works great 🤘🏼

Latest update is broken. Says the serial number of my Bushnell Hybrid (2018) is invalid (it’s not). Can add it though the igolf site on my computer but then BushnellGolfLegacyProducts won’t connect via Bluetooth even though the Bluetooth settings show the device is connected to the phone. Used to work fine without having to log in to an account.

UPDATE 5/14: OK, the serial number now works (extra star for that) but Bluetooth still won’t pair. Same as before, iOS settings see the device and connect via Bluetooth but BushnellGolfLegacyProducts still reports an error when attempting to pair, making BushnellGolfLegacyProducts effectively useless and the device less useful as time goes because I can’t update it through BushnellGolfLegacyProducts .

BushnellGolfLegacyProducts needs to be able to save your scores that is the one thing missing between them and competitors. I got the swing man which is a great product but BushnellGolfLegacyProducts doesn’t give me anymore then others it actually gives less. Other apps all give saved scores, handicap estimators and graphs. Another feature it’s missing is when you move to the next hole it should prompt you for the score on the previous hole. If we can get some updates BushnellGolfLegacyProducts would be amazing. My thought is without these updates they are limiting sales on their products.

I used BushnellGolfLegacyProducts on my most recent app. For its core function of showing distances to the hole and plotting distances to different points along the hole, it performed well.

However, I used the scorecard function to log my score, tee shots, greens hit and number of putts. At the end of the round, it shows you a nice breakdown of your data. However, once you hit end that data is gone. I can not retrieve again anywhere, which is awful. Had I know that I would have logged the data from my round on one of the other apps that lets me keep it thereafter. Disappointed with this functionality.

The old version was ok, saved scores & graphed them, the only issue I had was the putts were logged, but there was no way to see them after the round. The update gave better hole distances & graphics, but after you end your round- poof! It disappears. I’m not sure what they were thinking, but there was no need to delete that. I would think it would be good to keep the scores as well as stats on each hole- which helps greatly with course management. Example, if you bogie the same par 4 over & over again, one can rethink the tee shot club selection. BushnellGolfLegacyProducts was ok, I think it degraded a little with the update.

I lLOVE my wingman! The speaker is awesome, and the distances are pretty spot on, but I am extremely disappointed with BushnellGolfLegacyProducts ! It makes absolutely no sense that you can't keep all your previous rounds. If I want to keep track of my rounds for trends and keep my handicap, I have to use another app, which means I have to have two apps open! Also, my other apps allow my keep my entire foursomes scores - all these things should be easy fixes - fixes your customers want and need! I give the wingman 4.5 stars and BushnellGolfLegacyProducts 2 Stars, so I'm going to give an overall rating of 3 and hope Bushnell will make these fixes ASAP!

Just like everyone else has stated, not being able to go back and review the scorecard data is a big minus. Also, it would be nice to have a separate volume control for the yardage and custom sounds. At least have something in the settings to balance the music and the yardage. Lastly it would be real nice if the custom messages could be actual voice recordings and not just set computer voices to read what you type.
Other than that, the speaker sounds great and is still a blast to use.

The last update to BushnellGolfLegacyProducts took away a couple features that I thought were really good. On the new version you can no longer look at or book available tee times. Also on this version it does not save your scores from round to round, it was nice to be able to see your previous scores and see how your trending or be able to look back and see how you did on certain courses... bad update!!!

Has been great and When Wingman is paired to app it has worked really well so far . Distances aren’t as accurate as using a rangefinder but I find that with all GPS sites . Only thing I wish u could do is turn off phone calls which ring
Threw the speaker even if u have phone turned to silent or vibrate . Holes have auto advanced which I have seen people here complain about so maybe recent update fixed that . Wingman is a great speaker and I highly recommend !!

Super pumped to get the Wingman GPS/Speaker. IDC about the scoring features. I got this device for the speaker and for the yardage feature. Looking forward to just pushing the button on the trigger disk and getting yardage verbally over the speaker. Disappointed because although the device paired quickly with my iPhone, it WILL NOT pair with the Bushnell app. I tried everything. There is no point for me to have this if I cannot use it for one of it’s promoted features. Looked for Bushnell customer support number/email/chat with no luck. Bushnell, please fix BushnellGolfLegacyProducts or contact me or unfortunately I will be forced to return the Wingman speaker

The speaker works great as a speaker but fails miserably as a gps. BushnellGolfLegacyProducts is also a failure, whenever I turn it on I get a default message. The instructions say nothing on to navigate and fix a default message. When I called the company to talk with a person, he didn’t know what I was talking about. Then I received an email from the customer advocate who sent several links and photos to try and help me. None worked I kept getting a default message from BushnellGolfLegacyProducts .
Never had an opportunity to use this product for what it was advertised for. Totally disappointed in this product.

I believe the wingman plays great sound quality for what it is. BushnellGolfLegacyProducts visuals and fly overs are great. The gps yardage seemed consistently within one yard of my garmin watch for golf, which is awesome. Absolutely must add the ability to save scorecards and stats though! No reason for why this feature is missing. I simply won’t add my gold data in BushnellGolfLegacyProducts any longer since I can’t see it at later times to update GHIN or fill in a physical scorecard.

I just used the Wingman for the first time and was happy with the performance of the Wingman. I do with the volume of the voice would increase when giving yardages, but otherwise happy with that.

BushnellGolfLegacyProducts on the other hand does not keep past scores, and I can’t fathom why a golf app would be released without this capability. I am now forced to have 2 apps open on my phone to play golf. Is this getting fixed?

The course layout and yardages were very accurate.

The speaker is pretty cool. It has a solid magnet and good sound. The biggest thing I would change after 1 round is the ability to turn the voice volume up. It was very quiet compared to the music even when I had the speaker volume cranked and the volume on my phone turned down.

BushnellGolfLegacyProducts will not move past the registration. It’s says to pair with Bluetooth and then come back to app to continue with the registration process. Even though it is paired and will play music, it will not move past the registration screen and allow the use of the gold app. Very frustrating and the support has been no help. Have only asked me to reset my phone, delete BushnellGolfLegacyProducts and then try to reinstall. I have done all those things and still the same result, will not move beyond the registration page.

I bought a hybrid from Unclaimed Baggage Center. So of corse this device has been registered using it’s serial number.
Unclaimed Baggage goes through a process before they sale items. So it’s a legit purchase.
I tried to call the support center but it claims to be after hours.. even though it’s 4:00 CST and the recording says they close at 5:00 CST.
What are my options.
Once this is corrected I’ll update my rating.

This seemed to look like a flawless connection set up. But it’s nothing more than a glorified speaker thanks to this terrible app. You cannot get past the registration period due to remote connectivity issues. The instructions for troubleshooting do not work. You cannot speak to a human to go over the connection process. This is the most frustrating and poorly designed process to use a device I have ever seen. I’d rather lick barbed wire for 19 hours then attempt to connect a device through this poor attempt at an app.

I wish app could have two volumes when in use for the wingman. I like having the volume just low enough to enjoy the music, but not to loud where I can’t hear my passenger or disturb other golfers. But when I come up to the tee box or press the button for distance, I would like it louder without having to adjust it.

BushnellGolfLegacyProducts with the Wingman needs lots of improvements. First it is not consistent when auto advancing to the next whole. Depending on the course layout it may go backwards. In addition it does not make it easy to revisit a finished round scorecard (can't find were the rounds are stored and if they are stored). A benefit to keeping your score on such an app would be for the purpose of revisits and or exporting them to track average. Needs work!

I love the speaker and the features that are available. But how is there no app for an Apple Watch? Apple is on their 7th generation watch. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Good product Bushnell but try a little harder and it can be an amazing product. Imagine being able to control and see your distance and be able to pause and skip music all from your wrist with a single app. 🤯

Yes you can have a detailed analysis of your round but it does not save. All the scores i saved on the previous version have been wiped out. If you have a laser, you can still have rounds ssved on the laser app but if you only have GPS, you are SOL. Also, tee times has been removed.

Please add these back in.

For some reason I can no longer synch my Phantom.... my phone shows a Bluetooth connection but BushnellGolfLegacyProducts doesn’t recognize that it’s connected.

My club had recently made significant changes to the holes, the numbers of the holes and evens some new tee boxes and greens in completely different locations. I was able to use BushnellGolfLegacyProducts to update my Bushnell hybrid and now it has the right information. I can’t speak for the on course stuff yet as I haven’t tried it, but this was a breeze for updating data

I like the option to use BushnellGolfLegacyProducts as well for viewing of a new hole you’ve never played before. I received the hybrid as a bday present, it’s awesome. But no image obviously, that’s where BushnellGolfLegacyProducts comes in to play. I have it ready to go for a tournament, my mistake, I should’ve tried it first. Every time you go to hit a shot your phone obviously goes to sleep. You then have to re-enter the info, starting BushnellGolfLegacyProducts over each time. After ten times I gave up and won’t ever use BushnellGolfLegacyProducts again until this is fixed. Wish BushnellGolfLegacyProducts was better. GolfNow has a great gps for free. Thanks

I tried BushnellGolfLegacyProducts with the Bushnell Hybrid Rangefinder but once the phone goes to sleep BushnellGolfLegacyProducts basically closes itself and the golf course info has to be reentered. It was a hassle so I just used the Hybrid and didn’t use BushnellGolfLegacyProducts . Graphics and fly by are cool but useless if you have to keep open and reentering info.

I purchased Bushnell hybrid and installed BushnellGolfLegacyProducts, went through all the setup and went to course to play. App continuously shuts down and takes away bushnell services where the hybrid is just laser and Bluetooth app worthless. I went back to game golf app until this developer and bushnell get it right.

Dissatisfied with app, but Phantom gps device works fine. Honestly, I would suggest not offering BushnellGolfLegacyProducts if you are not willing to put the effort in making it work. I have not found any instructions on using BushnellGolfLegacyProducts , to ensure I am using it correctly or troubleshooting solutions.

I just bought the 2018 Hybrid laser/gps $400+ downloaded BushnellGolfLegacyProducts and still haven’t been able to setup account and login 48+hrs and counting! What is the reasoning behind making a supporting app that is so difficult to login too? Absolutely the worst, hands down!

App will not open. Makes the expensive hybrid useless. Could have saved money on just buying a range finder.
Never will buy Bushnell again. They will not reply to question/ issues about BushnellGolfLegacyProducts .

This could be a Five star app if it wasn’t for one fatal flaw. I used it to keep score for three different rounds and in all three instances, it crashed before the round ended, wiping out all entries. How hard is it to add an Autosave feature?

Wanted to use this in concert with my new ion2, but BushnellGolfLegacyProducts keeps crashing. I haven’t been able to open it once.

It would be nice if BushnellGolfLegacyProducts calculated the handicap score of the golfer. Also it would be nice to have BushnellGolfLegacyProducts give more details about the golfers statistics from round to round.

I won one at my league final playday, tried to register it, they say it is already registered. Sent email to customer support, 7 days later, still no response.

Not even close to being up to date. Didn’t have my rangefinder (tour V4) in the system or any other bushnell products I have heard of. I didn’t even get passed the login stage.

Hey bushnell are you listening it’s unanimous fix BushnellGolfLegacyProducts. Not using app is one thing when people quit buying your products which is next, will be an attention getter
