After the past year I was really looking for an app that could help bring more peace and elevate my existing meditation practice. As a meditation teacher and someone with a degree in brain and cognitive science, I was really excited about this app. However after paying for the full year and getting into the content I was extremely disappointed. Each session has a “theme” but other than a brief description of the theme in the beginning of the session, there’s nothing that keeps you connected to it. It’s just music. You’re on your own to keep focused for the 25 minutes. I was also very interested in trying out the more “advanced” sessions, but the app locks you out until you progress through each level. Plus you can only listen to one every 12 hours. So unless you are really committed to this practice daily, it will take quite some time to get to the level that I imagine may really have some positive impact. By then my annual membership will probably be up! After this realization I decided to cancel my subscription, thinking that I’d be eligible for a prorated refund as many other apps offer. However that is not the case. Apparently I missed the small print. I’m now feeling less peace than when I started, and also out $100! Please think twice before committing to this app.

Scam loophole. DO NOT GET SUCKED IN!!!!!!Very disappointed with the whole system. Wanted to do free trial and clicked on get through you tube ad. After downloading and signing up then you get pricing, not in a position to add that to my expenses this month. Tried to cancel through iTunes but it is not listed as subscription yet. Terms and conditions clearly state it will be automatically billed after 7 days and you need to cancel before as canceling after will only apply to next billing cycle and will not refund already billed amount. So found myself stuck in loop without anyway to CANCEL DURING 7DAY TRIAL. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! Not honest upfront information or business practice for this app. For those reading the developer response which is a template response. As stated above until SUBSCRIPTION is actually started (automatically after 7 day trial which cannot be canceled) there is no canceling through iTunes. So directions listed below are useless. Terms and conditions clearly state no refunds canceling will only affect future billings. Just know going in downloading app commits you to $100 charge. So you better magically know this is the app for you as compared to any other options or apps out there for meditation. My sense is that if you have to trick people to buy with legal loopholes then the value is not there.
