I’m so happy with ChromecastStreamer now. I’ve had a ChromeCast since the beginning, and was pretty disappointed with all the limitations ,inabilities, incompatibilities, bugs, disconnects, resolution quality and how painfully long it would take to connect. I had given up on the ChromeCast and it sat in a drawer for 3 years, replaced by FireSticks & Smart TVs.
Recently I bought a new Tv and it had ChromeCast built into it..... it was still rather unimpressive and had some of the same (slightly improved) issues. It had me connecting via Google Home app. Which also fell short, but then I noticed an update on Streaming for ChromeCast app, and gave it a shot...WOW, I could not believe it, finally!!
Finally nailed it, totally redesigned ChromecastStreamer , and it includes everything that I know it has been capable of all along. Screencast, browser cast, photo roll cast, camera cast, app cast, music cast. Etc. and it all just simply works. Amazing quality and speed, all in one app. So relieved that I can show a video from my iphone on my tv now in seconds rather waiting and hoping it would connect and buffer before everyone in the room lost interest..
And I dug out that old ChromeCast and hooked it back up to the bedroom tv, it is like having a brand new device now. Thank you!!

Not gonna read you the manual or try & convince why you would need a streaming bluetooth device to share your new phone features or media on your TV. We all learned the hard way about going out and purchasing the latest electronic gadgets only to realize we overpaid for a bug filled inferior product that has no use to us or anyone in the following years to come. Well it’s nice to be wrong once in a while & the Chromecast is definitely proving that point to us pessimistic people. Kind of a polite awakening how some things that come in small packages & are affordable from the get go can actually hold value & still be very useful years later to us or a friend who could relive the new gadget experience. It’s a no risk purchase that does everything it says +more. Should be standard everywhere DVI inputs are used. A simple to learn & daily used product children to the elderly can all rely on. Get yourself one or a few as memorable gifts for friends.

It’s typically easy to stop subscribing to an app service. I went for the free trial (30 days) since you must in order to try it. I immediately went to unsubscribe, and there’s no place it will let me!! And they have no email support to interact with them. It’s like they will get a minimum of one subscription out of you by locking out the cancel feature.

Note to Developer:
I have a problem but there seems to be NO way to contact you.?? I simply added your app a couple weeks ago, and HAD to subscribe, but I really can’t use it and want to cancel the subscription, before that 30 days is up. Under my apple subscriptions it simply says $0.00 and no spot to cancel?? Very difficult to reach you folks... need email support. Please email me at address I had to leave on your forced Facebook contact method and tell me how to drop ChromecastStreamer? Very painful experience just to drop an app. Feels like a trap actually so I don’t want to even try other products you have which do sound interesting.
Please help. I don’t even know how I get a reply from you.

This is one of the best apps I have ever used for Chromecast. It is simple to use and very easy to set up. I love the way its designed with a beautiful app interface and useful instructions at every point that tell me exactly what I need to do to cast my videos to my TV screen. Its got a lot of amazing options for casting movies. Cast from browser, camera roll, documents are all supported and work really well with smooth casting and perfect audio and video output. It even lets me enjoy the show in background while I browse on my phone. Its a great application to have specially for the holidays as my entire family is coming over to my place and we can now enjoy watching movies together on the big screen in my living room. I just can't wait to recommend this program to my friends!

This chromecast was a total waste of money. I’ve had it approximately 2 weeks and still have not gotten one thing to stream from my phone onto the TV which was my sole reason in buying it! At first it would not connect to my WiFi hotspot; after much manipulation and having to use more than one internet connection it finally connected to the internet. Then ChromecastStreamer couldn’t find my local device which was in the same room. Then it asked for a pin that was never sent on either of the three devices I was having to use to get this far with the chromecast. Once I got it connected ChromecastStreamer had to be updated (the one I just downloaded). Despite multiple attempts things on my phone are still not appearing on my TV. I despise the fact that I wasted valuable time & energy trying to make a ridiculously complicated device work just to somehow justify buying it. It has yet to do anything it advertises to do! Not worth the money or effort!

Awesome casting app so far. Works flawless and delay is negligible unlike other apps. Never failed since I started using ChromecastStreamer a month ago. Other apps just quit from time to time. Finds all the TVs quickly on my network. For some reason I don’t like using the Apple TV, and love chromecast inbuilt to my TVs so ChromecastStreamer is a great deal for me. Only one feature I would request from the devs for having the ability to rewind forward on all pages instead of being available on just the current playing video page on the browser, so we can surf for more while watching the video. One more thing, the browser is great too. I never felt I wasn’t on Safari. Good job! This is my first review ever for any app. Also please make one for OSX. Thanks.

I’ve needed to use the Chromecast app just a few times to troubleshoot why my computer wouldn’t recognize my device. It’s generally helped solve my problem but I’ve often had trouble navigating ChromecastStreamer to get to the solution. This may be an issue with the instructions Google Chrome web browser is giving me too, but that’s been my main experience.

However there are a lot of other cool features in ChromecastStreamer that I haven’t used as much but am interested in like casting content directly from my phone etc. And the content suggestions as you scroll the main page are a neat idea.

All-in-all no real complaints!

When Chromecast was introduced few years ago it took me a while to get it working properly without an app. When ChromecastStreamer was initially introduced there were fewer issues but some kinks needed to be worked out. This latest update is amazing in that it practically and properly links your device to your Chromecast tv by itself. It literally took me less than a minute to get it up and running where as in the past it took some time to troubleshoot issues that arose on initial installations. I experienced no frustration with the current app. If you already have ChromecastStreamer update it immediately and if you’ve never used it I suggest you download it immediately

Loved ChromecastStreamer when I first downloaded it. Although it requires a bit more steps to connect to the TV through chromecast, clicking the browser button to get to the browser page, and clicking around a couple sources to cast the videos, I enjoyed having the ability to pause, play, skip through, and change the volume of the videos through ChromecastStreamer . The camera casting ability is also quite fun.

However, it stopped working for me. Nothing would cast. After I click a video, it would look like it’s loading on my TV for 2 seconds, then it would go back to the pending screen with the casting icon in the middle of the TV. Tried reinstalling ChromecastStreamer , did not work. Tried using an iPhone and an iPad, did not work. (Also tried casting the same link on other apps and it worked for them)

I recently tried ChromecastStreamer despite the influx of negative reviews. After using ChromecastStreamer for some time, I can conclude that it is extremely defective and frankly a waste of money. The “advanced” method of mirroring works by pretending the chrome cast itself were an apple tv but this method is very buggy and doesn’t work whatsoever. After trying multiple video apps, it doesn’t work for any of them. In addition, the music streaming option doesn’t include the apple music subscription you more than likely pay for. Also, the browser mirroring option only works for certain sites and is very defective. I tried multiple sites and whenever ChromecastStreamer claimed to find a video to cast, it played this stock 5s video and did nothing else. I urge you to not buy ChromecastStreamer whatsoever. It is not functional at all despite the positive review score or somehow has

We've had chromecast for a while and it worked great, but after a lightning storm our network had to be changed. We tried and tried to get our chromecast to switch to the new network without any success. We ended up buying a new chromecast to start over. It took a while to set up the new device, but finally we were successful in getting it to link to the new network. The problem now is that it is hit and miss as to when it will link to our devises. More often than not it says device not found. Even after going through all the troubleshooting it still often does not work. Just now, by luck, I got it to work, but studenly everything is being displayed on the TV shrunk down and distorted. This is super frustrating and I would not recommend this product.

The Google Chromecast is an incredible piece of technology. Easy to set up. I have not had any issues with signal strength or dropping the stream. The only reason why I CANNOT give this item 5⭐️’s is because I own a smart tv, which I owned two years prior to purchasing the Google Chromecast. Therefore well the technology is great, it is a bit outdated. However I obtained a incredible Sony HDMI TV which was several years old and did not have smart capabilities.

Considering I got the TV for $70 and the Google chromecast for $35...... it is a wonderful value. Now I have a 50 inch, 1080, almost “smart” TV, for $105. Thanks Google 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

I have 2 chromecasts in the house and received a google home mini for free from work. I have been enjoying them immensely so I decided to see what other apps are out there that support my chromecast and google home mini I have always been able to cast from my laptop but I’m not always on my laptop. I am usually on my iPad or iPhone so finding this apps allow me to bring up websites to show my wife certain things I want to show for vacations or purchases it’s really nice to be in a cast using ChromecastStreamer on the TV or play videos from places that don’t support Chromecast casting

I love this...when it’s connected, which isn’t very consistent. Every time I set my phone down it seems to disconnect. I’m able to stream pretty fluidly but it makes it frustrating if you go to pause what you’re watching. You end up having to reconnect your device in order to have an option to pause. Sometimes it takes awhile or a few try’s to get get a connection in the first place. It would be nice if I could use my unlimited internet service on my phone as opposed to the limited data plan I have on wireless internet. I still love it because I can watch a lot of my shows on my tv instead of my phone screen, but it could use improvement.

Streamer for Chromecast is exactly ChromecastStreamer I needed when I was searching for Chromecast apps a few days ago. I tried a great many apps but sadly they didn't work properly. Then my friend recommended me ChromecastStreamer. I downloaded it to my phone and voila! It connected to my Chromecast in less than a minute! It simply does what its programmed to do which is casting media to TV. Its possible to cast anything with ChromecastStreamer even other apps and games. It works fantastically and I am surprised that its available for free. If you want to cast your videos and music just download ChromecastStreamer and you're good to go!
