Works better than the Files app
Originally I tried using an OTG adaptor to view my dashcam video but the Files app just couldn't handle the large videos (~850MB each), the videos either wouldn't play or the entire app would crash, even crashed my phone once. This SUNTRSI adaptor on the other hand works perfectly with this app, not only does it not crash, it can actually play my videos. It seems that the screen orientation issue I saw in some reviews has been fixed, so this adapter is perfect to supplement with my dashcam.

The new update improves a lot including a new added features. I’m so happy you listen to our request. Now we can easily transfer photos and video to your sunstrsi tf/video card reader. One of the best feature is ability to transfer from iCloud save photos to your card reader. Kindly please add support to import photos or video from some apps to xdisk please. For example: import video from filmic pro to xdisk would be nice. I appreciate all your hard work developer.

App problem
I love this app and external disk reader. I’m currently having a problem with reading a 256gb Sandisk microSD. The video was taken by my Anafi drone and I think it is because the drone separated the files into different directories. I can see the video when I play it from the drone but the app gets stuck on the “reading” screen. The xDisk flashes blue, once, and then gets stuck. It only happens with the particular SD card from the drone.
