Albertsons Delivery & Pick Up Reviews

I tend to work 10-12 hour days, and the last thing I want to do is grocery shop in the small amount of free time I have. I can select items to put in my cart in one sitting or as I notice they need replacing. The staff at my store are really wonderful, friendly and efficient. Last time they had sold out of one of my items before they could pick it up for me, so they actually called me to ask about suitable substitutes. I’m definitely going to recommend your service on Facebook!

I use Albertsons all the time because I live by one for the last year. Tried to sign into AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp with my Safeway account that I use at both Vons and Albertsons. It gave me the option to download the Vons app and use my account through that app or cancel out of the sign in. No option at all to continue with my account through Albertsons. I don’t have a Vons near me so downloading the other app doesn’t help me. Tried to create a new account through Albertsons and it wouldn’t create one because I already have my number on file.

Sooo basically since I originally used a Vons for the account I’m not able to use the Albertsons app. Promptly deleted AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp , make it more flexible for your account members.

Like many people, I have had trouble using AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp. When I try to sign in, it says I already have a Safeway account and therefore cannot use the Albertsons app. I even tried creating a whole new account with a different phone number, and it STILL said I already had a Safeway account even though it was a brand new account made on the Albertsons app. This feature makes literally no sense, why would they want to limit their customers to only one of their stores??? It is absolutely ridiculous that this issue hasn’t been fixed yet; it’s been MONTHS.

I wish I could give AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp zero stars. The only reason I added it was because I received a $20 off coupon if I ordered online. Each time I tried to log in, it would give me an error stating that my email is associated with a Vons account and direct to the Vons shopping app. I tried another email and same thing. If I wanted to shop at Vons, I would have added the Vons app, duh. The Albertsons store app has the delivery icon but doesn’t allow you to order online in AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp . You have to download an additional app, their “shop” app. Very frustrating!

I’m only giving AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp site one star. It won’t let me sign in, says my PW is wrong, I know it’s not, and tried several times. The only way I’ve been able to get into the Albertson’s place to order is to go to goggle and look it up.
As most know. Albertson’s recently "updated" their shopping site. What a hassle! Whoever did that had it really really mixed up. It was so different and so hard, it kept knocking me off, deleted items I had on there, etc. I was so frustrated! I emailed them several times, never heard back. Finally, after several mos, it’s now working better, thankfully!

Please do NOT change your site again. If you do, it’d be to your best Interest to have an expert do it. Thank you.
I bet you lost business over that ordeal, how could you not?
I very much appreciate having delivery, I hope it continues.
Perhaps more adv would help the word get out.

I can’t thoroughly review the service because I can’t get past AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp registration process. Had to reset a password I knew to be correct, have to manually fill every field, and it errors out stating incomplete address because I don’t have anything in the optional second line, like an apartment #.
Also, for the developers...USE AUTOFILL!!
Every time I had to start over, I had to fill in email, name, address again. Every good app uses autofill!
Lastly, if we already have the Albertsons coupon app, why do we need a second app?
Major fail, Albertsons.

I usually use Fred Meyers delivery but Albertsons sent a $20 coupon and free delivery. My order total was confirmed at $99 but I was charged $122. When the driver brought the items he only had 18 of the 40 plus items I ordered but yet I was charged for 40 items. Customer Service is a joke with a 96 minute wait! Will never use this service again and mad enough that I will probably not shop in store either. Have used the Fred Meyers service and have never had one issue. Lesson learned!

Because I first setup a Safeway go account, when I try to utilize AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp to pick up from my closest Albertsons,it says please utilize the Safeway and go app. When I go to the Safeway and go app, I search for my local Albertsons and it only displays Safeway stores! So there is no way for me to order via AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp for my Albertsons and no way for me to select the Albertsons store from the Safeway app! Too confusing having two separately branded apps instead of one!

I can’t make an order because it says my email is connected to a Vons account. I was on hold for over 40 minutes the first time and called dropped and another 40 minutes the second time to talk to someone and at the end told me Albertsons doesn’t deliver in my area but it says powered by instacart. When I logged into instacart allll the Albertsons in my area were available for delivery. Worthless.

Can’t use AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp if your account is associated with a Vons or Pavillions “account”. How are they not the same thing? Also how is my account a Pavillions account? I don’t even know where one is, much less do I think I’ve ever been inside one. It can’t be that hard to link your own subsidiaries in one app, or at the very least ALLOW A VALID ACCOUNT TO SHOP AT ANY OF THEM. Jesus what a hot mess this is. Get it together, Albertsons.

I keep hoping for a fix. Every time I attempt to place a pick up order it errors out and says address on my account is linked to Safeway. Albertsons that has pick up and delivery service is 1.7 mi from my house. Closest Safeway is 20+ miles away. There is no way to override the apps thinking. I can’t use from home and can’t use when traveling.

After not recognizing my account several times, AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp takes me through 3-4 different apps. I’m going to save my precious time and just travel to the store. Although, I can’t move because of recent surgery, the trip will take less time than tinkering with this useless app.

Doesn’t work at all! This store 1/2 mile from me has delivery but I cannot pick it. For pickup, only two stores are listed, again the one next to me is not on the list but their website says that they offer both delivery and curbside pickup. I can’t get either through this idiotic app. Zero stars!

I have a bad back and knee and have relied on the drive up service. It saves lots of wear and tear on me and the personnel are so great. I’m elated Albertsons has this service.

I’m disabled & can’t easily get out to shop up and down store aisles, get home, unload groceries & then put them away! Home delivery is great but AlbertsonsDeliveryPickUp needs work. Hopefully it will get better.
