I don’t normally write reviews but TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU deserves my time. I love the features it’s very amazing and you can literally use this as a game changer for content creators. The support team definitely the best I dealt with so far from other apps. They respond in timely fashion. I had several issues (devices, subscriptions) which were my own mistakes and the support team makes every effort to sort them out. I give 5 star hands down.

Suggestion
I would suggest adding a feature where we don’t need a green background to use our photos or graphics in background for video. Besides that a few more updated features for loyal customers and more happy days to come with TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU

I really like TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU, I make some news videos and love having the script right in front of me so i look focused and trained on the camera. I also love the green screen effect it seems like the best green screen app that I could find and works very well. I also have a couple of complaints tho

1. Even though it says that TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is free there is still a subscription. And they just bug you about it like do you want this? do you want this? do you want this? I wish that there was a way that you could say no, I don’t stop asking me.

2.If you are writing a script and leave TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to look at something else it completely closes on you and you have to restart your whole thing because it just deleted all of it. I suggest that you write your script separately and then Copy and paste it. This way you don’t lose all of your progress

I love the functionality of TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU and how easy it is to navigate. However, there are some MAJOR issues that I’ve outlined below:

1. The audio will randomly cut off halfway through filming. I use a wireless mic that has a receiver which connects to the iPhone via lightning port. No other teleprompter app has this issue with my equipment.

2. There was even a couple of times where the audio worked fine but then the video was nothing but a black screen...it seemed like most of the takes I did had either an audio issue or a video issue

3. The auto lock exposure functionality doesn’t work well at all. The exposure was all over the place and the tones of my video were adjusting like crazy all throughout the recording.

4. I signed up for their one month free offer hoping that I could then take advantage of the 50% for a one year payment. Once I selected the one month free option, it will not let me cancel that and use the 50% off annual option. So I asked support to help me and literally TAKE MY MONEY for an entire year but they said it would take like 2 days to get back to me and I have yet to hear back...but now that I found the bugs listed above, I wouldn’t pay for even one month of TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU.

I wanted TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to be good for so many reasons but these are deal breakers for me.

I have never a give low rating, but since I bought this based on the ratings, I thought I should. TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is actually quite impressive at first. It’s got everything you could ever need, and could provide seem less video, but I cannot get it to upload from my phone to anywhere else (changes or no changes). I have tried 2 videos one was a 3 minute video, and another was a 6. Either way it took hours (and I have fast internet) to upload from TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU (and heaven forbid you do anything else on your phone because if you do, you start alllll over), and then cuts off in the end. Each time it does this, I have to start over. From the computer, it does take a while, but it works better. Unfortunately my computer webcam is not great. From TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU , I’ve had nothing but issues with getting it to go anywhere (with or without changes) off of the phone.

This is TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU you want for a Teleprompter!
But I really really really really hope that they fix the refreshing problem that occurs when you have to go out of a mobile device back into TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU . It is just way too easy to lose a script that you were working on if you just so happen to check another app briefly. The entire app will just start all over from scratch. To their credit THERE IS a save button but if you are a creative person and you start brainstorming a new script and you inadvertently go out of TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU for just a second, all of your magic is instantly gone . This is my second time sensitive project that has been pushed back because of a screen time out or checking relevant information to bring back into BIGVU

So my wife and I are diving heavily into the online social media business model and found ourselves spending hours recording and writing outlines of our talks on dry erase boards and then trying VERY hard not to look like we are reading in our videos... lol

....then my wife found TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU. It’s so easy to use that we downloaded it, learned it and used it to shoot two videos all in the same evening!!

If you’ve ever recorded a video that you needed to use notes for then you would be the first to truly appreciate what TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU can do, and if you are recording for the first time you will also win because you don’t have to suffer and learn the hard way like we did. ‘TRUST ME TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is worth every penny!!

Guys i have a lot of good to say about TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU. It works well and easy. Everything functions the way it should. User friendly, customizable, integrating easily into other applications

The huge issue? If for ANY reason, your phone locks, if you have to leave TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to reference or look up something, there is ZERO ability for TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to stay open! I have lost multiple projects, simply by getting wrapped up in writing, needing to refernece outside TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU , then going back to TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to watch the whole application start up again and all my work was lost. The only save option is a manual save button that takes a long conscious press. This has to be fixed NOW. Such a good quality app. Even the customer service team is polite, fast to respond, and diligent. But this issue is a daunting one. Pls BigVu. Sort this out asap

TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU has a lot going for it. It’s easy to use and when you’re at the right distance it really looks like your looking directly into the camera the way you would with a traditional teleprompter.

My biggest issue is with the iPad version (I’m using iPad Pro 11” 2018). It always starts in portrait mode, even when the iPad is in landscape.

This is seriously problematic when the iPad is on a tripod as you have to physically tip the iPad all the way to portrait and back to landscape between every take.

Also, when switching between apps the BIGVU app always has to reload which is annoying.

If you use a green screen you have to add the background video or image immediately and once you’ve applied one to a take, you’re stuck with it, making that take useless if you decide you want to use a different background.

Once a green screen background is applied the video becomes very pixelated to the point of looking low quality... even with excellent lighting and a perfectly flat screen. Not sure how to fix that issue.

Like I said, TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is great. If not for these issues it would get 5 stars from me but these things make it almost unusable for my purposes.

I love BIGVU. It has honestly supercharged my entire platform.

Your program has inspired many new changes in the way I connect on social media, the way I teach my clients and the way I market my programs.

Personally, the entire process is so simple that I can't wait to script each new video. I love the green screen feature. It eliminated the need to search for interesting background scenery for my videos. Now, I can shoot from the beach, an airplane or the circus, without leaving my home studio. Boom.

Additionally, in my "Seven Simple Steps to a Career Boost at any age", Step #6 is called "Your SECRET Sauce!". Before I found BIGVU, my plan was to show my clients how to read a script from a piece of paper next to their cell phone camera. The objective is to give them the only resume with a video inserted. Now, thanks to BIGVU, we don't have to pretend to have a teleprompter, we have one in our pocket. Boom That!

The small nonprofit organization I work with uses BIGVU to caption our videos and add extras like our logo and music to the videos we share on our social media accounts. It’s ease of use in both TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU and desktop is what initially drew the organization to choose BIGVU and invest in a paid account.

Recently we ran into some issues with captioning and the support team worked with me throughout the week to find a fix. Very happy that we are up and running again! They’re constantly updating to making things user friendly and I speak for my entire board when we say that we’re grateful.

I have compared all apps for making videos using my phone as the teleprompter, and BigVu Teleprompter Pro Video was best for me.

Easy to learn and start using. Also, the company was very responsive to my help request. This help included a call from one of the team to help me learn how to use the newest features the company has rolled out.

So,

I noticed after a week of using TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU that the teleprompter speed does not keep the same momentum through out my speech. For example I will choose 160 WPM or 170 and at random it slows down or speeds up. Next, I wish that it could connect to Instagram more effectively then the just social links. When I do that Instagram for some reason isn’t compatible. Lastly, once I upload a video longer than 1 min, it won’t allow me to share it any where else so it’s kinda defeating the whole purpose of helping me talk to my viewers without cutting up scenes looking choppy. Hopefully these things can be fixed soon or I’ll just have to go to another app with better features.

I find TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU to be extremely useful in the development of my blog, and I love how the text centers me on the camera as I read. Phenomenal app overall honestly. My only issue is in the script writing process. When I’m writing a script, and I opt to go to another for insight on what I’m writing about for example, when I return to TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU , it restarts completely, deleting the content I had just worked on, while saving only what has only been published. Any help on this issue?
Once again, TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is a God send, and maybe this is just an issue with my particular app. I’m honestly not sure.

1. Difficult to share the recorded video... either the cloud upload provides a link to an entire project, or the upload of a 2 minute video to a file share service times out over wi-fi, or a post to a Facebook group states as successful yet never shows up on the group.
2. Scroll timing is inconsistent/ not smooth and at times jumps or slows while reading a script.

There are some elements I do like, such as response from support, and now that I’ve figured out the non-intuitive interface it’s easier to use — but I think the file sharing issues and lack of video download capability will be a deal-breaker for me soon.

Helpful. That being said, I HATE the auto exposure feature. I constantly have to re-record my video because the apps camera doesn’t automatically adjust to my exposure when I use my ring like, and either makes the shot way to dark or way too overexposed. I’ve fidgeted with the auto exposure lock switch, but it rarely helps. If that feature could be fixed I would rate TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU 5 stars and use it for everything. It’s SUCH a huge pain point

The teleprompter feature was nice, but what I was excited for was the captions. I figured that since I literally had already typed all my text into TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU , (and it’s being synced with the video while recording) BigVu would be using that text. BUT NO, IT APPEARS TO BE USING SOME SORT OF VOICE TO TEXT SOFTWARE TO CREATE THE CAPTIONS. Which doesn’t seem very smart. I literally already typed in the text. But NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK THROUGH THE CAPTIONS AND CHANGE LIKE A MILLION MISTAKES THE VOICE-TO-TEXT MADE?? This makes literally ZERO SENSE. If this changed I would change my review.

ALSO IT SEEMS TO BE RECORDING IN SD?? Why? This needs to be taking full advantage of the camera available. If not, it’s pretty useless.

What a great idea! TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU helps me to produce videos without stumbling and looking for words thus saving time for my viewers. I am able to deliver the content I want and minimal time. Plus, the fear of camera is real, people :-) TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU solves the problem. 4 stars only because I believe there’s always room for improvement, which I believe the company is passionate about. You should be able to let the camera run while you do several takes without having to stop the camera and start completely over. You can not use your finger to scroll back up to a certain part of your copy where you screwed up. You have to start completely over. And you can start a new take from a certain part of your copy. It always starts from the beginning! My video is 9 minutes long and it’s very frustrating. But overall great quality. But this issue almost makes TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU useless for me in my case unfortunately.

So far I really like TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU . It’s user friendly and has what I need at this point. But my one really huge disappointment is that the scripts don’t save unless you do it manually. Perhaps an upgrade for the next rendition? Auto save?

I had just finished my first script which was quite long and got side tracked by my children. TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU was still open, I didn’t close it out. When I can back to it, all my hard work was gone. 😢

I have such limited time to write scripts as I’m juggling my kids, my business and all the things. So don’t make the same mistake as I did.

I’m a professional broadcaster and TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU is powerful, versatile and easy to use.
I purchased a new iPhone Xs max recently and the script was being obscured by part of the phones screen when you turned it sideways. I contacted the apps support team and in less than a week they had it fixed. That’s service! This is truly worth every penny and then some.
If you’re wavering over purchasing TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU, don’t, it’s worth it!

I would give this raving 5 stars for all the features it has and how easy it is to use, if it wasn’t for how slow it is to update your changes and edits! I have 5G high speed internet and it took 3 hours to edit and upload a 1:29 second promo, due to the lag in uploading videos to use in the composer. I even tried different internet browsers to see if Chrome or Edge was the culprit. I don’t have endless time to come back to my screen and check on the status of updates. Not when other softwares out there are much more faster.

I loved the features of TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU for my first project. When I went back to use it again for another video, TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU repeatedly crashed. I checked for updates on TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU and my phone and the problem persisted. After multiple attempts that tripled the time I needed to do the project, I was able to capture the videos. I spent hours yesterday trying to access TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU and was unable to access any content due to repeated crashes, even turning my phone on and off multiple times. TeleprompterCaptionsBIGVU Store says my device is compatible. Any ideas why this is happening?
