Here are a few things I've noticed that need fixing. I like the convenience, but it's a little less convenient than using the browser version on your phone. •On the iPhone, when I go to another app on my phone, the AAU app closes logs me out and forces me to put my password again. Once I put it in, it doesn't put me back on the page I was on. This would also mean that the "remember me" feature doesn't work • I think AcademyofArtUnivClasses shouldn't require your fingerprint, or it should have an options menu where it can be shut off. •Also, there is a glitch where you try to edit text and move the text line to something previously typed , it won't move after. • I think there should be a previous page option like in the browser. As of right now navigating is too linear.

Wish this was a better platform for students and not just a shoddy web-app port of the online LMS. Doesn’t even support newer phones and their screens and the UI is horrible. You would think AcademyofArtUnivClasses would be in tip top shape for a school that costs so much money and “takes pride in its education.” AcademyofArtUnivClasses is the foremost means of interacting with every class and it’s content. If you’re going to create (ahem) something for students to use, it should be able to fully utilize hardware potentials of a device without being the cumbersome app it is now. Students don’t have time for that.

AcademyofArtUnivClasses does its job but it use on the iPhone X is restricted to a small portion of the screen. The application is nice for doing discussion/participation posts and checking in on instructor comments. Better use of the screen would allow for better interaction with the instructors assignment comments and overall usability.

AcademyofArtUnivClasses constantly shows a very weird interface (different from what was there few weeks?ago), and when pressing home, instead of taking me to the home page, it takes me back to the login page. App is full of technical errors.

When ever I go into a download for classes it gets stuck and the only way I can get it to go back to home page is to uninstall and reinstall. Not fun when I need to go into downloads all the time

There’s almost nothing better about AcademyofArtUnivClasses than just using the website. The nail in the coffin for me was when I realized that images and artwork were not rendering accurately in AcademyofArtUnivClasses . The images seem brighter with less contrast, like the gamma is not correct. Obviously for an art school this is not acceptable, so back to safari and correct imagery.

Worked great till the new ios 13. Now, videos don't play and AcademyofArtUnivClasses constantly freezes.

App has been going down hill since they removed the push notifications. You have to constantly be logging back in every time you close out AcademyofArtUnivClasses even if it’s for a second and now the home function does not work.

Hasn’t been updated in 2 years. Seems like they don’t really care about AcademyofArtUnivClasses and it shows in the user experience. This is not optimized for the larger iPhones as it doesn’t fill the whole screen. It’s also just basically a port of their website. I would expect more from a school like this.

AcademyofArtUnivClasses freezes 100% of the time when selecting to open AcademyofArtUnivClasses from notifications on front screen (I have an iPhone 8+), but otherwise AcademyofArtUnivClasses works well. So now I only use AcademyofArtUnivClasses from inside my phone and never from the front notifications screen.

Works great! Just what I needed to quickly check assignments, lectures and other information. As a F/T professional, AcademyofArtUnivClasses is perfect me. Thank you!

Full screen phone models. Like iphone x, xs, and xr.

On the iPhone I can no longer highlight/copy text which is dumb/time consuming. It’s only on the phone, I can do it in my laptop or iPad.

Logs you out if you switch to another window.

I agree with some of the other reviews. Its hard to go back and forth with pages, and when i check my class alerts, i cant tap the location. It won't do anything. Sometimes it'll just completely freeze on me. I hope to see an update soon!

This is a great app that increases the portability of my education at AAU. It is formatted almost exactly like the intuitive and useful interface online and I couldn't be more grateful that AcademyofArtUnivClasses is finally available!

My only feedback thus far is that the text feels a bit too small on the iPhone. I elect to wear glasses when I use the computer or read, but my eye sight is pretty good. The text is a little too small in my opinion, and I can imagine it would make for difficult reading for somebody with worse vision. Having a setting to choose the text size or even being able to zoom in on page would make AcademyofArtUnivClasses much more accessible. This appears to only be an issue with the iPhone interface, as the iPad offers a zooming function.

Otherwise, this is a necessity for all online AAU students. Thank you for developing it!!

I'm sitting in Panera, waiting for rush hour traffic to die down after having dropped my kid at school. I was a bit bored, and had read all reasonably headlined news within 15 minutes of arriving. Done with that, I checked maps to see if the wreck I passed on the way to the school had cleared, only to find red traffic lines all up and down every possible route from here to home. Trapped. Trapped I am/was.

"I'll check in on my classes using the new app," I thought. "Maybe I can wrap up my daily class interactions while I wait. That should take awhile to get through given previous experiences with trying to post using smartphone browsers."

Logged in fast—touch verification is much faster than entering usernames and passwords. Immediately got to my new discussion posts with a single click. Answered all student questions using my phone inside of 2 minutes. Now I'm bored again.

Sometimes good is too good.

I like AcademyofArtUnivClasses a lot, it allows me to do a little bit more homework during hours where I'm not with my computer (such as during my lunch break at work). My only problem is that recently it stopped allowing me to click on my notifications. I can see them but when I, for example, try to click where it says an instructor posted on my discussion, I can't. I have to then go back home, to the class discussions and find the post manually. Which is slightly frustrating.

Overall though, this semester with AcademyofArtUnivClasses has been much easier than it was without, in my opinion.

I wish this had been around the whole time I've been attending. This is so handy and easy to use. I'm not always at home and this makes checking in on my classes so much simpler than getting on the browser on my phone. Thanks guys!

Since the login method changed on the website, AcademyofArtUnivClasses has logged me out and I can’t log back in with either my username or academy email, and my password is correct and hasn’t changed. I have also deleted and reinstalled AcademyofArtUnivClasses and it still doesn’t work. Please fix this login issue so everyone can access their classes and messages on the go without having to get on the computer or go to the website every time. Thanks.

There is a lot of dynamic design built into iOS such as swiping from the left side of the screen to go "back" or pulling down on a page to refresh.

AcademyofArtUnivClasses doesn't utilize any of that to much extent.

This really makes it just feel old and clunky. I don't see why AcademyofArtUnivClasses should replace the website in an Internet browser such as safari or chrome.

I am glad that AAU finally got an app for classes. AcademyofArtUnivClasses needs back and forth buttons. I was expecting AcademyofArtUnivClasses to be more of a interactive app than just having it look like the website.
