Even though I couldn’t figure out how this McDonalds worked at first, the attendant was very helpful in assisting me! China’s McDonalds are awesome!!

How are you people so stupid that you allow different locations to pick and choose when it’s ok to deliver to my address and when it isn’t?!?! Either my address is in the delivery range, or it isn’t! Nice to have 麦当劳McDonalds in English

麦当劳McDonalds will clearly show that it is set to Chinese language, but will not allow me to change it to English. If I can’t even use 麦当劳McDonalds in English, why wouldn’t I just order through Eleme or Meituan?

A few days ago, McDonald’s China posted an ad. on Dou Yin (Tik Tok) in which it used homowives as a joke. After hundreds of users pointed out it’s a gross and harmful one, McDonald’s China deleted it without any apologies. Shame on you.

Menu is not in English for foreign visitors, touch screen in buisiness is better as it has English version

I had been through many upgrades - all had included English, but now none. At least there’s still the bilingual hotline, but I did like the ease of 麦当劳McDonalds . 😢

I was using 麦当劳McDonalds without a problem. Then I was prompted to update. The new version does not allow me to order food. I can see the difference between what has downloaded on my phone and what is supposed to have downloaded. What downloaded has only three icons on the control bar - home; order history; and account. The menu icon is missing. When I click delivery or pick up, I get a message saying I have placed no order. Total garbage. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling. I’ve tried restarting my phone. No change. It’s useless!

They removed the English language option. Been relying on McDonalds as a “go to” meal option for years, but now it seems they don’t want our business. I hope they correct this soon. Horrible update. Avoid it if possible.

I used the older one and as others say they eventually removed English support. Then with every update it just got buggier and buggier. Now with this latest update I can’t even get to the menu. It crashes and disappears. Utter garbage and I’m going to complain to McDonald’s corporate about this. It’s a sad representation of McDonald’s. Raise your standard already.

I used the previous app frequently to good effect. 麦当劳McDonalds can be figured out reasonably if you don’t speak Chinese, but it is still inconvenient and can result in mistakes. Often times you will get error messages when paying, and on more than one occasion, 麦当劳McDonalds has created double even triple of the same order. Really bad upgrade. The previous version worked SO WELL. This one is bad.

I had no problem with the previous version of 麦当劳McDonalds; how can I get it back? I cannot read Mandarin and this new version of 麦当劳McDonalds is not in English! It automatically updated and I have been logged out of my account, leaving me unable to place an order. I hope this problem gets resolved or I’m not going to be able to place anymore orders!

I used to use the previous app quite often to get food delivered as 麦当劳McDonalds was provided in English. 麦当劳McDonalds updated and not only is it a entirely different layout it’s also now only in chinese. Usually when a company updates an app you move forward with it. In this case maybe visuals of 麦当劳McDonalds went forward but now is in unusable to the entire English speaking foreign population. I guess I get to take a break from McDonalds.....

麦当劳McDonalds worked just fine before they “Upgraded and Improved” it to the “Pro” version. What a load of baloney. Lost English, lost my account login info, lost ability to find my address( which has been delivered to 100s of times) and even lost ability to use Alipay. If this is such an upgrade, why are we losing so much? I truly wish I could give it 0 stars.

Been using the old app and it was great. Now this?? Only in Chinese no English option. I am surprised at this from McDonalds. I would think McDonald’s would understand that there are many different kind of people living in many different places. They always saw how international they are. I guess no more the occasional comfort food for me.

麦当劳McDonalds has no English options. Even in Chinese, the address has bugs and won’t deliver. It worked for three orders, and suddenly the Chinese address (that worked for the first three orders) doesn’t work anymore. I guess they tried too hard to make the Chinese App authentic and left quality out of the equation. #Sad

I’ve been trying to place order and using coupon, every single time failed! And only when I placed order without using coupon, it went through. What the heck the coupons for then ?! Horrible apps !!!

This new app totally revamp the image of the previous app, this look much nicer and intuitive to use.
