Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872 as America's first national park - an idea that spread worldwide. It is a mountain wilderness, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk. Old Faithful and the majority of the world's geysers are preserved here. ##Notes Download the app before you arrive. Cell service and Wi-Fi are limited in Yellowstone. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Worked well. Good maps. Doesn’t have ALL the trails and stops but still a great resource that can be downloaded before hand for offline mode. Make sure it finishes downloading though in the settings. Would have liked there to be a little more information about each stop but I don’t think it’s meant to be a comprehensive guide. It could be though and I might even pay for it if it was that good and with more photos. Otherwise a 5-star for convenience and exceeding expectations.

I downloaded all the offline content before our trip, so when we were in Yellowstone where there’s no service we were still able to access all the information about where to stop, the map, and the tours! We also purchased a paid app for Yellowstone, but this was way easier to use and an absolute lifesaver!!

A useful app we used during our stay at Yellowstone. I recommend downloading the application prior to visiting the park. The map function has data for the entire country and useful for separate travels. I did not see, thus recommend a separate app just with the NP and NHS mapped. Until then this app will stay downloaded.
