First off, it’s a radio app, it has simple features and design that are easy to navigate and use. Simply download Spoon , create a profile and begin listening and streaming right away! It’s excellent for aspiring DJs, musicians and storytellers to share and practice their content. If you’re looking to collaborate with other like minded people or perhaps just make new friends you have come to the right place!

this app has done an amazing job at two things in specific, in the beginning of my time on this app Spoon was clearly something viewers could just listen to or keep in the background while they did whatever they were doing, sense then they’ve added tons of features such as live calls, stream polls, request boxes, creative stickers and way more. It sounds like they are paying me to write this review but I promise that’s not the case. All these reviews about bullies and such are things the this app moderation team takes more seriously than most other social media apps. As far as costumer care goes they do it the greatest. I’ve had issues with Spoon before and as long as I made myself vocal these issues were resolved. Give Spoon a download, see what it’s about (night streams are the best) and if it’s not your cup of tea, email the this app team and let them know what didn’t work for you and see what they say.
The moderation team is what’s holding Spoon together and that’s why it gets a 5 star.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on this app. The community has really brought on new hobbies and a way to kill time. I also enjoy the interactions that we get to have with the this app Team (US) and creators. this app Team is communicative and act fast when it comes to any issues I’ve ran into while on this app.

If I could make any changes to Spoon , I would like to see a way for DJ’s and LIVE callers to be able to access Spoon while streaming or in a call as sometimes I find myself wanting to send a notice on the Notice Board as a way to bring in more listeners (as well as check out profiles) OR just add a way to send invites to specific Fans to join while in your LIVE. Also can we maybe add a limit to 3 notices within a 5 minute period because I hate getting spammed by DJ’s I follow who will update their Notice Board 10 times or more at once— I’ve unfollowed people for that.

I really enjoy the concept of Spoon, However I’ve encountered and have seen a lot of bullying within Spoon . This typically isn’t a problem for me, except in this case I want to partner with Spoon as a way to expand my social media platform. This is difficult when bigger spooners and their fans are constantly removing spooners from lives within seconds of entering. There is a fans only option for a reason!! It seems as though the only voices from this app that are heard are from choice streamers and streamers with a large following base. Or streamers who bring a substantial amount of income. It would be nice hear directly from this app employees about: significant changes, more in-depth details about guidelines and more importantly support and resources. If it’s simply about revenue then okay such is life...but Spoon has the potential to change many lives and help those who may not have had a chance otherwise to make it in the entertainment industry.

Spoon is great for meeting new friends and I like that there isn’t many people on it because it gives the feeling of it being a community, and I have some ideas that I feel would greatly benefit the user experience and Spoon ’s popularity:

1. Add a way for viewers to earn more spoons, maybe watch an advertisement or download a game and play it for a few seconds. This would be great for the younger audience on Spoon that maybe don’t have credit cards, but still want to support their favorite creators.

2. Invite people into your livestream, maybe add a feature that pops up where you can search through the viewers of your livestream and invite them, when the viewer gets invited they can be heard by other viewers, this will be great because a lot of friends are made on Spoon and people could listen to their conversations.

3. Private messages, this can help with people who want to make friends on Spoon.

3. Video streaming. Maybe this one is a bit too much to ask for because Spoon is made for podcasts but video streaming would be great for Spoon, maybe even screen recording your phone and streaming it too? This would make the gaming and art community grow as both genres rely heavily on the ability to see what the streamer is working on

Please consider these ideas, i would greatly appreciate it

i cannot express enough how Spoon has changed me. ive been changed socially and its really helpful in making me talk to people as well as be more confident. also Spoon is very addicting and i enjoy going live as well as watching other lives. however, there are sum things i’d like to see. when people live call, i usually am confused on who is talking. this app i suggest like a ring around the profile picture of who is talking while they are talking and then go away when they are not. also when in a live, clicking on a profile picture does not lead them to the profile and only gives the option to fan them and see their picture so i’d suggest having the option to visit their profile instead of searching for it separately, i’d rlly appreciate it :). but other than that ily this app thank u

First off, I’m in LOVE with Spoon. I listen a LOT more than I stream, but there’s a lot of talent here. (Sometimes it’s a bunch of very young kids that aren’t really doing anything, but that’s okay). It’s great that Spoon gives people an opportunity to show the world their talent, and share their passions!
Things I’d like to see in the near future:
1. A world/region chat feature. This would give listeners an opportunity to discuss streams with one another on a massive scale! (I understand this feature could be easily abused, but I have faith in the users of Spoon)
2. Private messages. This way you can give your feedback to streamers privately, or perhaps answer their questions more privately. (For safety, perhaps make it where the streamer has to accept the message before they can see it.)
3. A way to see everyone in your stream. Like a roster! This makes it easy for DJs and Managers to.. well.. manage haha
4. Promos! Opportunities to buy spoons in larger quantities at discounted prices for limited time!

All in all, Spoon is AMAZING! I’ll be here, waiting to see where Spoon will take me. It has a lot of potential for growth, and if I knew how to invest into apps, I’d definitely start with this one!

Well while this app is an amazing app I must say that it’s been cracking down hard onto people, I understand that role plays are against the terms of services but people do understand that it can also be used for broadcasts, just because a popular hobby takes place doesn’t mean it’s bad all of the time you say that it brings the wrong audience even though people make normal broadcasts and lives, now a large percentage of people will will protest against the fact that this happens, don’t use the opportunity of role playing as harm use it as the fact that more people will use your app and make in app purchases to make you money, these “role players” help make you money so I believe it would be a wise choice to actually add it as a subject instead of use it as harm, just know the fact people are going to ask to be banned for this choice and I won’t stop them, thank you

I downloaded Spoon a bit ago and I absolutely love it! It’s so relaxing and nice to listen to people talk and sing on stream. However, the main reason I downloaded Spoon was so that I could fall asleep to the streams. But the problem is that you can’t turn auto play off. If I fall asleep to a stream, it will be playing a different stream when I wake up, which means that my phone was on all night. Now, I doubt anyone else has this problem, but for me, it’s the biggest flaw with Spoon . But if you don’t plan to fall asleep to it, or if you don’t mind the auto play situation, then I’d say 10/10 would recommend!

Just a concept, but I think it might be good to add;

Similar to how you can put the option to have a live call or not, a good idea would be to add the option of a time limit to a call without having to actively end the call or accidentally end the stream. This way streamers can have more options of things to do with live calls (speed talking, talent shows, advice columns, caller’s opinions) without worrying about having to sound rude for asking someone to hop off the call for eating up time.

Possibly something to put in edits as you edit the stream title or background, and have the option to say “3 minute limit, 5 minute limit, 10 minute limit,” And each caller is notified of their time frame when they’ve entered a live call.

Also, the call feature gets a little buggy sometimes when more than one person requests to be in the call. For some reason, it will continuously exit out the call when attempting to choose between people until all except that one person you wanted is in the queue. This may just be my streams but it’s happened a couple times.

When I first started using this app. It seemed like an amazing community to make friends and hang out. Slowly a lot of sexual content began to be posted. I don’t know what happened here but the amount of sexual and nasty stuff being thrown around, pictures of animated characters having sex, and people saying they’ll moan for spoons is gross. What is this? A prostitution app? Because these people literally make money by receiving spoons. THERE ARE KIDS THAT JOIN Spoon! you’re not even asked if you’re 18+ when you make your account. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do that after this app reads my review. I see them repost kids accounts on this app’s Instagram story. The same kids that talk about nasty stuff on the live streams. I can see that this app is trying to turn this into a “Hook Up” app. If I could give this a negative rating I WOULD! Extremely disappointed and already blocked this app on all social media and deleted my account.

I’ve been using this app for 2 months now, and I can honestly say that it’s one of the funnest apps I’ve ever used. Livestreams on the platform are so easy to create and it’s always fun to meet new people! The community is caring, the conversations are intriguing, and there’s so much diversity and original content! If you’re looking for an app to pass the time, this is the one to pick. Spoon has also given me a platform to bring positivity to others who need it the most right now, and I have received almost 2k fans as of writing this (1.8k now!). I’m super excited to continue my journey on this app, and eager to welcome all of you as well! 🙏🏻

Spoon is pretty cool, navigation is simple, however there aren’t many configurations to personalize Spoon . The community is really nice and supportive.

I tried to start going live when I suddenly heard playback from my own voice. The playback sound was terrible quality, which led me to worry if that is what the audience would be hearing as well. To test this, I used the function “cast” to record something. And playing back the audio resulted in a low quality of sound, almost incoherent compared to other records that other people posted. I used multiple mic inputs (Headphones, Built-In, iRig Pre Amp connected to an XLR Microphone), and each resulted in similar quality of sound when playback. If a dev is reading this, my phone is an iPhone 8.

This is a really good app.. calms me down and it’s kinda make me feel like listening to some aesthetic radio and chilling around if you find a really good DJ. Since it is widely used in Korea, Korean live DJs are better than the English ver ones.. but English ones are not bad it’s just a little much more random and free which is not for me sometimes.. but for the ones who don’t understand Korean would be a problem but if you rlly want to listen to Korean ver, then try to find like a DJ who do an acoustic live ones which is rlly good. Anyway it’s a good app since I can always change into Korean or English ver whenever I can..

I’ve been seeing your ads recently and Spoon looked promising, so I decided to check it out. It didn’t look too bad at first, read a few reviews and thought, “Maybe this could be good!”.

So I made an account and the first stream that gets recommended to me is, and I read it about once or twice, a heterosexist title on a stream.

Now a quick disclaimer, I am not a homophobe in any way nor am I a heterosexist, but...why? Why would they recommend me something just plain...well, how would I say this... Not really comfortable.

So after seeing the title of that stream, I decided to go onto another. It wasn’t too bad, but there was some useless arguing on a stream. And so I go to another one, felt a little offended and still uncomfortable. Until I began to realize: Spoon isn’t right for me. It’s really unfortunate too, since like I said, the apps looked promising!

This might have some potential, and it has probably helped so many people! I wish lots of luck and hope to the people whose lives have been changed by it. Unfortunately, it’s a no for me. But I do have a little bit of faith in you.

So basically i was banned for not talking because i went to the bathroom and i was also doing some song request and suggestions while beatboxing before i went to the bathroom so i was talking but somehow got banned for not talking or obscenity of talking and i was only gone for 5 to 10 minutes i was banned for a week not a day to learn my lesson and go on a week which means imma lose followers and fans which is stupid and this should not be a thing without like actually checking for a few minutes to see if hes not talking or he is or if he just went to do some rq

There was a point in time where I wasn’t able to walk through very crowded stores OR malls. Just in any area with a ton of people in it and Spoon literally fixed those problems. I know somebody’s probably gonna say that I should’ve got a therapist or something but for something that I could have pay thousands of dollars for just in this one app that is truly amazing and I truly love the this app team and this app all together. this app is a great community to get over those social issues that you may have and it helped me a ton and I think it can help you a lot too. IM IN LOVE WITH this app

I really love watching streams and listening to podcasts. I think Spoon is really cool, but unfortunately I can’t use it very well. I use voiceover for iOS because I’m visually impaired, and I find a lot of the buttons are unlabeled. There are also things in Spoon that I straight up couldn’t find. For example, I believe my connection dropped while I was in a live stream, but I couldn’t figure out how to get back in the live stream now that I was out. Do you guys think you might be able to update Spoon with labels and stuff like that to help with accessibility? That would make me really happy. Thank you.

I love Spoon at first it was really fun and I could join lives and be myself but after some time I started making lives and I didn’t know some of the rules which one of them was role-playing I first I was like it’s OKThat’s a little weird but, I kept making lives more and moreThen one night some people startedRole-playing I was OK with it I didn’t think anything of it but…I was trying to continue the live but it said that I was not allowed to RP and it’s shut down my live and my accountBut that’s not the only thing I was joining a live and it said that I was not allowed to join

this app lets people DJ their own broadcast and chat with listeners. Easy to use, at least from the user end, and, at least in the casts I’ve listened to, people are decent, even caring. I’ve listened to singing competitions, vocal coaching (even got coached myself), jazz guitar, various conversations. DJs often appoint managers to keep the chat positive and I like being able to reward good DJs with hearts and spoons (which can turn into money for them, I think). Seems like most users are teens but there’s a range. Lots of potential for more DJs with something good to say (register time vote...?)

I really like Spoon , and I love it's idea so much , it helps people from all over the world connect and it embraces diversity which is truly exquisite! However I'd like to draw your attention to the restrictions of Spoon . I'm a Sudanese citizen who lives in Sudan , and i face troubles using Spoon in terms of the restrictions. I'd love it if you help make it available for us to use Spoon in my region . Thank you so much in advance!

Giving Spoon five stars because it’s new so there’s obviously room for improvement. I’m rating it based on the community and features it has so far.

Spoon is great. A fun way to connect, with algorithms that allow everyone to get heard.

A few cool features I’d recommend? Allow categories for casts and lives. Sometimes I’m in the mood to listen to original music, but other times I’d like to hear people’s life experiences. It would be fun to filter.

Also, perhaps a feature that allows you to have friends and also subscribers? There are some people I’d like to talk to, and others I’d like to listen to casts regularly.

Overall, I hope this app continues to grow and thrive.

I love Spoon the only problem is that some of the DJ’s want to voice chat with some of the people in there lives so if you can and something like talk with DJ’s with out having to type and also for it to be the DJ’s who are able to add the person your app would have more people downloading it.

I am obsessed with this app!! The community on here is so funny and supportive, and there are a lot of really talented DJs from all over the country with totally different backgrounds. I’d feel awka flocka making video live streams, so I like that it’s audio-only. My new fav social media app for sure!

Spoon was so perfect until 4 days ago the last update changed everything my account was korean but when I opened it after the update everything changed to korean and my account was logged out 😭💔

I did not tell Spoon to update, but it did and not my Korean this app account is gone and I can no longer find the people that I used to listen to. I want my this app app to be put back to the Korean version because that is the only reason I have it. I had people that I routinely listened to and not I can’t find them because everything is in English. Please PUT IT BACK!

Please change it back to English and even better to multi languages I beg of you... Spoon seems SOO special but I cant understand korean so please turn it back please please

I was happy with Spoon the first few day installing Spoon with the Vietnamese language. Somehow yesterday I open Spoon and everything change to Korean which then make me verify something but I couldn't read a single word it wants me to do because everything is in Korean. Am very disappointed with Spoon today.

This community is way more safe and sensitive than just about anywhere online.

Unfortunately, almost all the pictures aren't appearing after the recent update. Pleas fix it.
