FITAPP: Distance & Run Tracker Reviews

So I am starting a summer workout program and needed an app to help keep track of my distance and time (speed was not as important). So I install FITAPP , set it up for cycling and start going. Despite it stating that the workout started, after finishing it said that my start marker was nearly half a mile away from my house. I live in a large neighborhood and my route was to ride through it to a large bike path in a field outside of it, ride to the end of the path, turn around, and take the same path back. Instead of tracking my distance through the neighborhood and back, it make a straight like from the staring point (which I pointed out was very wrong) to the end of the path, and then made a perfect angle straight to my house where I ended. I ended at 2.44 miles, meaning it cut off around 3-4 miles of travel. The speed was also unreliable, as it tracked me as nearly immobile for a quarter of the trip despite me not stopping unless I needed to cross a road. No idea if this was just some one in a million bug but FITAPP just has not worked for me.

I like the ap; however it quits working and I now have three subscriptions. Also can’t get it to sync with my Apple Watch to monitor BPM.

Could use help I resolving these issues. But otherwise FITAPP is great to track my fitness.

I use the free version. It works great, seems accurate and easy to use. Waiting for a sale to actually become a paying customer and get all the bells and whistles. Well put together.

Once one figures out how to navigate past the upgrade offers it is a very well thought out application.

Keeps track of all my activities even offline or airplane mode.

7 day trial.... I did like that FITAPP called out my stats as I was riding... but the distance was way off. Rode bike for 13 miles, 1:33 minutes but app said it was only 5.8 miles ... how is that possible ??!!!! Not sure if I will purchase at $39 / year subscription if mileage is that inaccurate ...

Near the top of my “most obnoxious advertisements disguised as an app” list. By the time you navigate through ads that cover up the start button and deal with the prompts that demand you allow access to this and that, it takes minutes to actually get started. Delete, or pay the unusually high subscription rates that you are also bombarded with throughout its use.

I’m running on regular basis now. FITAPP logs in data which is very useful. I’ll be 70 years old in 2 weeks. Push self to run 2 miles every few days.

My first use. Walked for 20 minutes. I walked around several blocks but FITAPP calculated total distance as a straight line, not the path I actually took. I was outdoors in the open the entire time. All metrics are wrong: speed, distance etc. I retested and it always plots a straight line not the actual traveled path.

FITAPP is keeping me on track for my goal to run 1,000 miles this year. I look forward to seeing my progress on FITAPP every day.

I love the organization of it all, so simple and fun! Great way to keep track of all things fitness!!!

I’m absolutely mad right now. I was looking through my card payments and was trying to figure out why on earth 40$ was taken out. It was FITAPP. I wasn’t even asked twice before they took it out, they just took the money right out and I don’t even use FITAPP. I’m beyond furious right now.

I paid for a premium subscription About a month ago. The service never activated. I am on my sixth email to their customer service and have still not received a response. I am pursuing canceling with Apple as theIssue is nowhere on the horizon of being resolved

Upgraded to premium service when discounted offer came across FITAPP . Now that I have upgraded, can not use the premium services. Very disappointed with FITAPP.

I’m so mad I can’t cancel this I have been trying I can’t find the cancel button I have emailed sent messages to the company they charge my credit card when they shouldn’t have I want this off of my account

Love it because its to the point and provides all the facts you need with no excess unnecessary crap. Best app!

Love FITAPP! Wish more of the workouts were unlocked tho. I use it most for running!

Updated review: I’m an idiot and thought FITAPP was pay only. From what I can tell, this is a good app with really good features.

I literally never leave home without FITAPP! I use it for jogging and running as well as tracking activity when away on business trips. Great for the map feature when I'm not familiar with my surroundings! No bugs to mention. Thanks for everything!

It has everything I was looking for...tracks my route, tells me my speed, distance, time while listening to music...connects to my music with ease...gives me reminders and will give me workouts for weight loss, races, etc....I LOVE FITAPP!!!

Although I would like to be able to pause the run without opening the phone, overall very happy. Notifications help to push me a little, even if most get ignored. Overall very happy.

Been using it for 2 months. The most recent update made it even better. I use it for running, biking + yoga primarily, but it is great for any activity. Highly recommend.

Such a great app. I'm able to track all my activities and my weight and see my progress. Also I can set goals and be apart of trainings and challenges!

FITAPP stands out because it is user-friendly and it's very accurate. In addition, friends and family members can track me while I am running.

As a beginner runner it is really motivating to be able to track my progress and always try to set a new personal best, eg. distance, pace or calorie, etc. I'm using FITAPP to train for a marathon now! DESERVES 6-STARS.

FITAPP is everything I need for my running, although it does play up occasionally, it's free, and works 99% of the time

It keeps track of your distances and your records. You can tell if you are getting fitter just by what it shows you run by run. 100% would reccommend to a friend.

I was never a natural runner and I still wouldn't call myself a natural runner but I start running 4 years ago and I now love it. FITAP keeps me motivated, its nice to have all the stats
