Lifecake mit neuem Namen
Die Möglichkeit Fotos und Videos, welche die App automatisch sortiert, und zwar nach dem Alter des Kindes, ist super. Zudem finde ich die Möglichkeit, die Fotos und Videos mit Familienmitgliedern zu teilen, hervorragend. Und das mit einem Abo! Es wäre traurig gewesen, wenn man das Konzept so aufgegeben hätte. Die „neue“ Back Then App ist von der Benutzeroberfläche und den Funktionen her die gleiche wie Lifecake. Die Migration der Bilder und Videos klappte gut, war aber etwas umständlich. Ebenso die Migration der angemeldeten Personen. Fast hätte ich dafür einen Stern weniger gegeben. Aber man muss es nur einmal einrichten, danach klappt es ohne Probleme. Wir hatten bei Lifecake bereits ein monatliches Abo. Bis jetzt habe ich keine Speicherprobleme o. Ä. festgestellt. Ich kann die App wärmstens Eltern und werdenden Eltern empfehlen, die die Bilder ihrer Kinder vernünftig sortiert haben wollen und diese mit Angehörigen (Großeltern, Tanten, Onkels) teilen wollen. PS: Es werden auch Bilder von der Schwangerschaft, ebenfalls nach Alter des Kindes (Schwangerschaftsmonat) sortiert.

Goodbye lifecake - hello back then
Als wir lifecake entdeckten waren wir begeistert... was für eine einfach Möglichkeit Bilder chronologisch mit der ganzen Familie zu teilen und gleichzeitig Erinnerungen für sich selbst zu speichern. Verständlich, dass wir geschockt waren als es hieß, lifecake wird eingestellt. Zum Glück nur kurz! Back then ist praktisch eine 1:1 Kopie, der Import hat super und problemlos geklappt. Da wir auch bei lifecake im Bezahlmodus waren ist es hier zwar ein wenig teurer geworden, aber seien wir ehrlich, es ist bezahlbar und lifecake war einfach in dem Bereich sehr großzügig! Wir freuen uns weiterhin Momente teilen zu können...

Umstellung auf kostenpflichtig
Ich bin enttäuscht, es scheint dass der LifeCake Service nun komplett kostenpflichtig wird. Ich habe mich bei BackThen angemeldet und werde aufgefordert für ein Abo von 4,49 Euro mtl. Speicherplatz frei zu kaufen. Sorry, ist mir wirklich zu teuer! Einmalig ok, aber nicht um 3 Fotos pro Monat zu teilen. Zur Info: Daten lassen sich von Lifecake importieren.
