Brother-in-law bought us a this app speaker a year and a half ago and set it up with his own microsoft account for whatever reason. I had previously downloaded Cortana (over a year ago) and tried to log in with my existing microsoft account. It did not let me log in, I tried everything, but ended up deleting Cortana . I just redownloaded to give it another shot only to find the microsoft account I had previously tried to use was already signed in once Cortana installed. However, I have been trying to switch to a different microsoft account, and Cortana will not let me. I have closed and reopened Cortana several times. Sometimes it will prompt me to “sign in,” but when I press the button, nothing happens at all. Other times when I reopen Cortana , it recognizes me as already signed in with my old microsoft account. When I then go to sign myself out, the same thing happens. I click sign out and nothing happens. Every now and then when I click sign out, it will bump me back a page, but it won’t sign me out. Terrible app.

I have all but eliminated Siri from my iPhone without jail breaking it! For those that can’t get this app just dl MS LAUNCHER(it’s integrated with this app). Voice to text for messaging works well but I would like to see voice to text with this app not require a physical touch of the send button. Other than that I have Siri so far in the background I only need her to launch this app (which would be nice to eliminate Siri all together). I would prefer my windows phone back (hint to MS, to step up their phone game and want to compete in Cortana race.) windows phone is so much better than what is out there today, but it lacks the apps and therefore appeal to users. I only have an iPhone because of my employer and we are a windows based company(go figure).. one day I hope to use my winphone again but until then ms for iPhone is the next best thing.

The iPhone and Cortana would be better off if Apple would allow it to show more info in the top drop down menu, or show up on the lock screen. The best parts that made the Windows Phone so spectacular at scheduling, automating, and communication are lacking in iPhone. This could help with that. Overall Cortana helps bring you a little office365 windows comfort to your iPhone. That is great! If only it made the audio sound as good as the Windows Lumia 950. It does not have this app news like Windows did either. You will need to get used to swiping open the left lock screen to review this app info.

this app offers an amazing experience for fans of the Microsoft ecosystem. I use this app to set location and time-based reminders, but I especially enjoy how she works across devices and platforms. I use a pair of Surface Headphones, and she works really well with Cortana on my phone. However, I only wish that the device and software interface would be improved more. There are times when I speak into my Surface Headphones and the this app App doesn’t immediately respond or it toggles the pop-up message indicating that she is listening but then registers an error. I really urge Microsoft to fix these sort of bugs to make this app flawless.

As someone who uses a Windows 10 phone, a Surface Pro 3, and a Windows 10 laptop, I love that Microsoft has taken the road less traveled and given other platforms access to some of its popular software (still waiting for Google and Apple to do that). This this app app, along with Office, OneDrive, Xbox, Groove, Skype, etc. allow me to more or less avoid using the built-in iOS applications, giving my iPad another shot at being useful in some way. Of course, the nature of iOS keeps this app from being as integrated as it is on Windows, but it's still a lot better than Siri. A lot, LOT better than Siri.

If you use Windows 10, particularly mobile then you already know and are comfortable with this app and most likely love her. Cortana provides the familiar experience, information and services. Unfortunately, since it is unable to integrate fully with iOS and usurp Siri Cortana lacks a little compared to what you may be accustomed to. This isn't a this app issue, but a Siri issue. Hopefully, Microsoft will bring us a mobile Windows 10 device with telephony soon. Or maybe Apple might realize that they don't have the AI thing right. But until now this is adequate when you must leave your PC.

With this latest update this app is smarter than ever. You have to take some time to set up all your accounts but once you do she’ll be taking care of everything for you. I honestly wish Microsoft would give her more attention instead of integrating Alexa into Windows. That honestly looks like they have given up on this app, which doesn’t make sense because she is truly amazing.

I honestly recommend everyone give this app a try and take some time to build her up into a perfect AI.

The way in which this app sufficiently details information and is able to unravel information is tremendous!
this app is by far able to answer in-depth questioning better than any AI assistants that I know of and is capable of performing at high rates of speed.
I love how effortlessly this app is able to pickup my voice, is secure like Microsoft, and is able to recognize what I’m saying almost 99% of the time!
Way to go this app on answering my dire NHL regular season game question and remember as always....Go Columbus Blue Jackets!!!

I am on an iPhone8 and basically trying to use this app to link it to my PC which uses it.
1. You cannot say "Hey this app" to the iPhone and get a response. You have to click the Microphone button to even talk to this app. Why is that? I'd rather just click into my weather or maps app if I have to click something. Please fix this issue.
2. Whenever I ask "how long will it take to get home", or any variation to ask about distance or time, this app answers by saying: "Heres a map for you". However, there is no link, popup, or anything aside from "here's a map for you". Please fix this!!!

I wish I could have better things to say, especially after using on Windows Mobile for so long. There are lots of bugs and half baked features that just make it not worth it.

Searching for images is broken and doesn’t display properly. The voice command is slow and often times out before connecting. Connectivity in general is a problem. Location-based reminders are broken too.

In general, it’s become a glorified search function.

iOS app is improving. There are still issues. The calendar doesn’t update quickly. The instructions for how to get Cortana to see your calendar do not match what is seen in settings, so Cortana itself does not see meetings, unless outlook connection is turned on. The 365 connection will not stay connected, even when that option is selected. The latest “improvement” to provide feedback doesn’t allow any information to be typed in. You can only attach a photo.

I Love it a lot it is as fun as on the windows 10 computer if only it was on windows 7 ultimate and maybe you can update that and do not change it so you can set multiple timers that is good and I would love it if you can make it work without WiFi and phone service because I do not have iPhones I have a iPod so please i would Love you so much I could install all your apps.

Can be an amazing "virtual assistant" if you set it up to be.

My tip: setup on phone and work PC. Connect your emails to it. Cortona will remind you of stuff you promised, to-dos you put in and ones you forgot about.

Kind of scary how she reads your emails, but it's been a wonderful time saver and help for work and reminded me about stuff I forgot to do many times!

Siri can access my schedule, post an event, and even recognize conflicting information prior to posting on my iPad Air 2.
After trying to get this app to read any item on my calendar or make a new entry...nothing.
this app plays music, news, and sports off of the Internet. Anything else, must be done through Siri on an iPad. I deleted Cortana after just 3 hours of attempting to actually use it with simple voice commands.
Not smart, not intuitive, not useful to me. However, the very few things it can do, it does very quickly and efficiently.
I hope this helps in further development.

Unfortunately, the number of useable apps on the windows 10 phone is dropping quickly. So I moved to an iPhone and was very pleased to find this app, OneDrive and Outlook apps that work just as well as they did on my W10P. I love my surface pro and that this app, Outlook and OneDrive on my iPhone 8 make the transition seamless. Still miss the W10, especially the ability to hear and reply to texts hand-free on my car’s Bluetooth!
