I use this on all of my devices for just about everything. I have composed notes, poems, letters, lectures, memos, short stories, shopping lists, other lists and at least one eulogy. It’s easy to access from everywhere, and I can pick up from where I left off on phone, tablet or computer. And, using the checkbox feature makes To-do list progress easy to track. Finding old notes based on subject or other keyword is easy, as well. I love this app.
I use this application for business everything I write is business orientated and I make sure my additions is used respectfully to my morals and ethics of normal society where these ideal aren’t against others my notes will addition to those actions applied and it’s will denote any negative energy to or from within Afro American guild lines Of education and information applied as of respect of owner or user I am sure I comply with protocol and use age terms
Edit: Update seems to have fixed the worst of the bugs, including notes not saving. However, now it’s having trouble syncing some notes that I add to the website first; it’s impossible to highlight/Select some text without using Select All which is incredibly inconvenient, and I can’t move the cursor by holding down the keyboard as you can in iOS. Please fix these minor bugs so we can all have our beloved app back. Thank you. Changing my review to one star due to no action from developers. I will be transitioning to a new note taking app, reluctantly. The app simply doesn’t save notes on iPhone 8 and has cost me countless lost minutes and hours and information. The ad on top is so obnoxious that it often blocks the text you’ve typed. This has become nearly unusable. Original review: I’ve been using this app for 5 years and it’s become a fundamental part of my life. I record all of my observations and writings in this app first, and it has come to serve as a chronicle of my emotional rollercoasters across the last half decade. However, I have found it to be almost unusable on iPhone because eight times out of ten, it just doesn’t save my note. This is devastating, as it’s truly a deal breaker. I don’t want to leave this app, so please fix these bugs and you’ll have me for at least another five years.
I’ve been using this to manage important ideas both personal and professional. Overall it’s been reliable and easy to use, but some quirks are frustrating. Most notable at the moment is spacing. For example, when I try to add sub notes to a primary header, I add a space after the bullet, but it doesn’t display this until after I begin typing. The result is that I often add another space or two (or none at all) in an effort to anticipate the logic, but the outcome isn’t right, so efforts have to shift to editing rather than recording notes quickly. In a world where little items like this are expected, this quirk makes the Inkpad app seem like a primitive throwback rather than a sharp, 21st century tool that quickens workflow rather than slows it. Seems like this small detail might be worth the effort for the developers to resolve and make the app on par with virtually every other writing interface out there, such as Word, email, and....even the ancient mechanical typewriter response appropriately when the user indicates need for a space when appropriate.
I really like the app. I too have used it for years. I don’t have trouble saving the notes. I do have trouble editing. If you try to copy and paste, it is almost impossible. It also doesn’t always type the letters. I have to hit the letter a few times, if I’m in a hurry, I won’t be able to understand what I wrote sometimes when I come back to it. Then it doesn’t want to put the cursor in the middle of the word when trying to fix the spelling. It only wants to put the cursor at the end of the word. It’s faster to delete & respell all words than edit. The ad banner isn’t bad! I’m sure they will update the editing part. It really is a great app. Whatever note you update last is always at the top. I like that.
