Complete Guide to Cancel and Delete Raya
There are a few things you must do and know before canceling subscriptions. They are:
- Check the Terms, Service policy or Privacy policy of Raya to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation or account deletion:
- Once you subscribe to a plan and you don't cancel it manually like you subscribed, that plan will renew automatically because you gave the permission.
- When you subscribe for a trial period and then you cancel, you run the risk of losing that trial content altogether.
- You must remember to manually cancel a subscription 24 hours before the trial period ends.

How to Cancel Raya Subscription on your iPhone or iPad.
- First, open the settings app and tap on your name.
- Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
(Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore) - Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
- Next, tap on Raya (subscription) you want to review.
- Now, Tap on Cancel.
(Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Raya, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).
How to Cancel Raya Subscription on your Android device
To cancel Raya subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Raya app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:
- First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
- Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
- Choose the Raya subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
- Finish up as directed.
Once your Raya subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.
How do I remove my Card from Raya?
Removing card details from Raya if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

How to Cancel Raya Subscription on a Mac computer.
To cancel Raya subscription on your Mac, do the following:
- First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
- Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
- Click "Edit" beside the Raya app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".
Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.
If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.
How to Cancel Raya Subscription on Paypal.
To cancel your Raya subscription on PayPal, do the following:
- First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
- Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
- Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
- You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Raya" or "Raya App Inc" to cancel.
- You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Raya.
- Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.
What to do if you subscribed directly on Raya's website?
Here's how to cancel your Raya subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.
Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Raya's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.
Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:
- Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all Raya's contact details here
- If the company has an app they developed in the Appstore, you can try contacting Raya App Inc (the app developer) for help through the details of the app.
How to delete Raya account
You might have created an account on Raya during the course of using the app. Many apps make it so easy to signup but a nightmare to delete your account. We try to make it easier but since we don't have information for every app, we can only do our best.
Generally, here are some steps you can take if you need your account deleted:

Delete Raya from iPhone.
To delete Raya from your iPhone, Follow these steps:
- On your homescreen, Tap and hold Raya until it starts shaking.
- Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
- Click on that X to delete the Raya app from your phone.
Method 2:
Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.
For iOS 11 and above:
Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.
Delete Raya from Android
- First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
- After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
- You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.
- Now choose Raya, then click on "uninstall".
- Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

Traditional dating apps don’t work for me. I’ve even seen 3 separate guys I met on the others ones for a few dates to find they didn’t even have cars (hey, no scrubs much?). I kept running into people that felt either threatened by my success or were aggressively trying to take advantage of it. I feel safe in this space. I also find with my crazy hours/touring schedule, I could really only end up with someone who is equally busy and career driven. This app filters out the static. To me, it doesn’t matter if they only show people in my city because myself and (I’m assuming) most other people on the app travel so often that it doesn’t really matter. It’s fun and I’m having great conversations. It was frustrating being waitlisted for 4-5 months when all my friends were on it but it was worth it in my opinion. I don’t really want it to be accessible because then it doesn’t serve the same purpose. Honestly, being a “celebrity” completely takes away your ability to get in on the dating app fun and this has been so fun for my REALLY famous friends to do what everyone else is doing. Great app concept. Yes it’s kind of elitist but isn’t that *sort of* the point? App could use some updates though cause it’s really slow and glitches a lot.

I go off and on with online dating, giving it a shot here and there. I have stints of giving relationships a shot and then come back to it, all the while keeping the subscription active. I’ve been on Raya for a while, I’d say almost 2 years. it’s not without the same issues as all online dating platforms, people ghost, they match and don’t start conversations, etc. I’ve accepted those as now normal behavior on dating apps. But I do think Raya has more attractive and interesting people, so I don’t mind paying for it with the prospect of finding myself a beautiful and creative person. In the beginning I match pretty regularly, but it seems I haven’t matched with anyone in months on Raya, despite the tons of new users I’m seeing and liking. I’m wondering if it’s because I’ve been on there for so long they’ve simply stopped showing me? It certainly feels that way. I know they claim to be selective and sensitive to the community, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve deemed me undatable or something because of how long I’ve had the app. Def get in and get out with this app. Paying for it longer than a year seemingly puts you on their matching blacklist and becomes just a frustrating waste of money. I started up a different dating app recently and the matches are coming in hot. So, not to sound cocky, but I don’t think it’s me. Will not be renewing the next round.

I was waitlisted for a year. I’m a pretty well connected dancer/model. Got a new gig, met a hot chick already on there. Got a referral and my approval was almost instant. Now I’ve been on swiping. I believe the “celebrities” are paid pawns. They showed me a handful of them in my first set of swiping. After that it’s Instagram boys, tech boys, photographer boys.. Seeing a huge lack of ethnicities, everything is pretty bland up in there.. I understand it’s a private society, I like that. So they can’t just advertise to minority groups with high Instagram followers. But I’m sure there’s another way. Mix it up you guys! I’m paid up so I plan to keep using. I pray it proves me wrong and I get married like that one girl (“baby in three days” did you see that review? lol) good luck ladies! Try to get a referral.
