Bought this as a baby monitor, because it had better features and a better price. Other cameras will say HD which is technically true, but in this day and age 720p does not count as HD. You want 1080p like this camera has. The microphone on this camera is really good! The motor on the camera that moves it 360 degrees is really quite. The apps joystick control feature is on point, not too sensitive and not too laggy. You need to realize that this camera will not work on a 5 ghz network, but most wireless routers today will broadcast in 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz. Honestly, there really is nothing I don't like about this camera. Oh, it can also be mounted on the ceiling and you can flip the video in the app!
Most of the complaints I've read here tonight that the system "cannot" or "doesn't" do is to the contrary. I've read the manual I printed and their is not much this system won't do. You can change order of camera, you can set only specific zones within a picture to detect motion and the sensitivity adjustments work very well. Take some time to print the manual and read it. Call customer support , they will walk you through anything. I could not be more pleased with the product to date and all the bells and whistles.
Thank you for FINALLY adding filters to the notifications!! We’ve been using this system for 4.5 years now & that was the worst part! I’ve tested it out, and currently filtering by camera is not working, it does not even let me select the camera “front door”, regardless of whether the device (long number) is selected or not. I’ve also been having issues over the past month or so with the main screen not loading as if I have no internet, and I have to kill the app & reopen & then everything works fine. I know I have internet because I was just on the web on other apps Facebook, Twitter, etc right before opening ezviz. Thank you so much for adding filters! ☺️
Love the app and camera, but please update c3w Camera. Cause get way to many alerts. I have the sensitivity set low and areas blacked out. And still get a lot of alerts when there is nothing or just the sun goes behind a cloud and than comes back out. Want it to work so I know if someone is coming up to my door and walkway. Check when get alerts and it’s about 97% of the time not anyone. Just nothing or in black out areas when a car or person walks down the road/sidewalk it still detects when it shouldn’t. The latest camera firmware and app update has broken IFTTT support. This is completely ridiculous considering that's the only real reason I got a Mini Pro. Update: must have been temporary. The IFTTT support is now functional again. Some IFTTT is up and running again, I can say the app is OK for what it is. Some of the menu items should be toggles or buttons instead of what looks like a settings menu link. For the sloppiness, I'm taking away one star. Also, I can tell this wasn't made by a native English speaker but it really doesn't take away from the core functionality of the app itself. For those of you who complain about the camera itself not connecting, you're either too far away from your WiFi router or your not following the instructions. It's not the app's fault and likely user error.
