How to Cancel Quicken Subscription on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. First, open the settings app and tap on your name.
  2. Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
    (Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore)
  3. Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
  4. Next, tap on Quicken (subscription) you want to review.
  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Quicken, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).



How to Cancel Quicken Subscription on your Android device

To cancel Quicken subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Quicken app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the Quicken subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your Quicken subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.

To cancel Quicken subscription on your Mac, do the following:


  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the Quicken app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

How to Cancel Quicken Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your Quicken subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Quicken" or "Quicken Inc." to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Quicken.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.



What to do if you subscribed directly on Quicken's website?

Here's how to cancel your Quicken subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Quicken's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all Quicken's contact details here

  2. Visit the website of Quicken. Click to visit .

  3. Login to your account.

  4. In the menu section, look for any of the following: "Billing", "Subscription", "Payment", "Manage account", "Settings".

  5. Click the link, then follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.

To delete Quicken from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Quicken until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Quicken app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.
  4. Now choose Quicken, then click on "uninstall".
  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    Much improved

    Making almost all the quicken fields searchable Is a huge improvement. I also like that I can now restrict searches to a specific account. In previous versions, a search within an account would bring up results from all accounts. I think quicken could make it a little more obvious on how to Search all transactions. I stumbled on it when I pressed "recent transactions." The addition of reminders is welcome. I would like to see a longer history. I realize that takes up storage space but storage is pretty cheap these days. Right now it seems to be limited to around 2 1/2 years whereas I think five years would be far more useful. And if there was anyway to sync some reports so I could run them from my iPad, that would sure be great as well. But, as it is now, it's a lot more useful for me than the app has been in the past

    Could be more useful on the go

    I enjoyed the Quicken software. The app is nice. But I feel that the app is just a regurgitation of what the desktop version is without customization. I feel that as a mobile app I need more customization. For example, I want to be able to see my budget right up front. When I am out and about, that is the information I care about so as to not blow my budget. The other information is great. And needed to make decisions on finances. But I would much rather just make those big decisions off the desk top version. I would like to see the app customizable so that I can view what I need to view on the main screen. Thank you.

    App is great! But...

    I’ve been using quicken for years. I just recently switched to the 2017 version so I could use this app. I like the ability to view all of my information on the app, but I don’t like how static the app is. I can’t change or customize anything in the app. It would be nice to be able to access several different budgets within the app so that I don’t have to go back to my laptop, view the budget I want to see in the app, and then sync with the cloud. It’d be nice to change that. And why is the “Everything Else” category negative on the app budget but like the other categories on the desktop version? That makes no sense and is confusing. When I see two different values that are available for me to spend for one budget, that’s confusing.

    slowness: "can't connect to server", random logging in

    i use the phone app version of this to keep track of my everyday cash transactions as i run errands. The app slows me down-- I'll be in a rush and find that, with no warning, I need to login to use it, which means that i don't log a transaction at the time, and forget it later. The most annoying feature is that my phone seems to need an active internet connection to log a transaction. sometimes this is not possible in the minute that i am trying to use it. I would think that, by this point, the app could work while offline and simply update the next time a connection is established. app is improving, but it still has a ways to go.

    Lacking functionality

    What I was hoping when purchasing quicken was that my wife and I would be able to easily keep track of our income and monthly bills. The goal was to set up the desktop software, then use the app to be able to quickly glance at how much we have currently, and quickly view upcoming schedules bills and income so if we are out shopping, we can easily determine how much we have available to spend. Since the desktop version can be not accessed on more than 1 machine, it makes the app vital to being able to use this as a household budgeting and finance tool, but it essentially just spits out some basic data, but doesn’t give any useful information such as a future calendar or list of future scheduled transactions and balances like you can get on the desktop version. The lack of this feature makes the app basically useless. Hopefully Quicken adds some new functionality and usage ability to the app in the future. I’m currently looking for alternatives that will allow me to access my data everywhere rather than a single computer and in a useless app.
