My husband was trying to order my Christmas present today online and had problems with our bank card and our bank blocking the purchase due an online fraud attempt. After spending several hours on phone trying straighten problem out with our bank the purchase still would not go through. I ended up calling Michael's customer service and speaking with the nicest & very professional customer representative. She took care of the multiple transactions and ended giving us a 50% coupon towards the purchase for our inconvenience and multiple attempts with the transaction. I was very pleased with the customer service from Michael's. Thank you Michael's!!!
My app has not been working for over a month. Every time I click the icon, the app comes up, then a banner appears on the screen saying, “we’re working on app, will be fixed soon”. I’ve got the 9.2 update installed. I’m also not receiving my coupons in my email. Occasionally they will come in to my ‘junk’ mail. Last issue, I’m not receiving any mail coupons. I know all of these exist, because I used to get ALL of the above! I check daily, because I’m an employee with Michaels. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!!! I’ve been a rewards member since I started in 2016. I hope you can help me because it’s difficult to get ‘sign ups’ when I can’t get any of the rewards myself. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! Shelley
Michaels is probably my favorite store. I started doing crafts and baking two years ago and I really enjoyed it and I started to watch videos. But I didn’t have the supplies so my mom took me to michaels and I had just found my happy place. This store has so many products and has coupons all the time so you can save money. Also the app is really organised with the categories and all that, I’m really loving it. Every time I need something for crafts or baking, I go to michaels and I ALWAYS find what I need, always. It makes me really happy to go there and you know, finding everything you want and love. So good job and the only thing I would change is that some items are a little expensive
I am an artsy person and I love using the app as it makes things much easier for me when I want to make purchases. I love having the coupons right there and also knowing what aisle my items can be found in. My one issue is that in recent months, I’ve been getting an error message that reads “ Sorry something went wrong, but we’re working on it. Please try again later”. It will appear multiple times and then ultimately the app will not work. I’ve uninstalled and re-downloaded the app multiple times. Usually it will work for a little while and then I have to uninstall it again.
Happy Update: I deleted the app and reinstalled it which worked like a charm. For how long, not sure ... but I’m much happier now! Will remember this fix!! The app is super unstable and currently useless. I browse on my phone to your website with Safari or Chrome but it’s not as fast or seamless as the app used to be. I can get your coupons and to my account, my favorites, and check inventory on items I want to buy in store or online. Hurry up with a fix please. Worst time of year to go down. Using latest iOS version on iPhone 8+.
