There are a few things you must do and know before canceling subscriptions. They are:
- Check the Terms, Service policy or Privacy policy of Spectrum TV to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation or account deletion:
- Once you subscribe to a plan and you don't cancel it manually like you subscribed, that plan will renew automatically because you gave the permission.

How to Cancel Spectrum TV Subscription on your iPhone or iPad.
- First, open the settings app and tap on your name.
- Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
(Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore) - Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
- Next, tap on Spectrum TV (subscription) you want to review.
- Now, Tap on Cancel.
(Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Spectrum TV, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).
How to Cancel Spectrum TV Subscription on your Android device
To cancel Spectrum TV subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Spectrum TV app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:
- First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
- Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
- Choose the Spectrum TV subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
- Finish up as directed.
Once your Spectrum TV subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.
How do I remove my Card from Spectrum TV?

To cancel Spectrum TV subscription on your Mac, do the following:
- First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
- Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
- Click "Edit" beside the Spectrum TV app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".
Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.
If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.
How to Cancel Spectrum TV Subscription on Paypal.
To cancel your Spectrum TV subscription on PayPal, do the following:
- First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
- Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
- Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
- You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Spectrum TV" or "Charter Communications" to cancel.
- You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Spectrum TV.
- Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.
What to do if you subscribed directly on Spectrum TV's website?
Here's how to cancel your Spectrum TV subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

For iOS 11 and above:
Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.

- After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
- You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.

It's mostly the news stations: ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. We need to get this taken care of or I swear we will cancel this high-priced, ridiculous service. when I look for a customer service #, it's mainly numbers to sell us something. Or it's all automated. It's so frustration to pay this kind of money and get horrible TV reception.

By Ryan DizThe sales reps who promote and sell the Apple TV box should not be misleading customers into buying these boxes or purposely leaving out information about the policy concerning the purchase of these boxes. I recently signed up for Spectrum services; I am a new customer, meaning I never had Spectrum Services before, and on signing up the customer service representative asked me about purchasing the Apple TV box, however she did not ask me what kind of tv I had (if I had a smart tv, which I do, so don't need a Apple TV box) neither did she let me know that this purchase was optional, I was under the impression that the Apple TV box was now a substitute for the cable box and so I purchased it not realizing it was in addition to the cable box, the rep did explain that if I wanted to leave Spectrum services after buying the apple box then I would have to pay for the Apple TV box immediately in full, and not through the monthly fees of $7.99 (until the box was paid off). She also neglected to inform me that if I moved or transferred Spectrum Services the same thing would happen, because then I would have to change accounts (which is, that the old account would be cancelled and a new account started) resulting in me having to pay the full amount for the Apple TV box as well. All this I had to find out by calling Spectrum and talking with different reps numerous times, to get answers about why my bill came to 370+ dollars, I was was then told that there was no way of rectifying this and I could pay Apple TV in full or let this amount run on my bill, no option is suffice for me because this is thorough no fault of my own, and I don't want a skewed bill leading me to being confused about my payments, and what money is owed. I would like Spectrum to work to resolve these kinds of problems with their staff and customers, so that faith in their service is not lost. I paid an installation fee of $60 dollars just to transfer Spectrum service from one apartment to the next, had I known all this would occur, I would have just cancelled Spectrum paid for my Apple TV box and gotten another service provider like direct TV which was already installed in this apartment, instead I kept Spectrum so I could keep paying for my Apple TV box and ended up with charges for installation, charges for the Apple TV on top of my chargers for cable, internet service. I don't understand how these problems are allowed to occur, seems like there is a lot work to be done Spectrum.

Having a VERY difficult cancelling Spectrum tv. I called several times and CS told me that it would be cancelled on a specific date because you have to pay monthly and can't stop in the middle of a month. Costs keep accruing and they keep sending me I owe them money messages. is there an direct way to cancel via email or sending them a letter to prove that I contacted them. I would like it in writing that I have cancelled. Thank you

The app doesnt work on any device I have ranging from moderately priced phones android of course , to higher priced ones to android tv roku devices and xbox one so in. Turn ohavemt even used the app but a handful of times yet cant seem to get anywhere with them trying to cancel it

1. I called to find out when to cancel my Spectrum TV before the next billing date begins on July 5. They said on the 3rd or 4th.
2. I called today, on the 30th, and was told I could do it now and that it wouldn't stop TV reception until July 5.
3. I continued with the call, asking them to put in the request for cessation on the 4th. They said they had, but would have to forward this notice to another department.
4. That department answered and told me that the TV had been cancelled but that they could reinstate it if I liked.
5. They reinstated it. Now, when should I call them for the final request for cessation?
6. While all the agents were polite, some of them didn't seem to know what they were talking about. Perhaps this is the reason that one call lasted thirty minutes before I gave up rather than continue, and tonight I was on the phone for over an hour. Surely, this is unreasonable for what should be fairly routine. And incorrect information should not be given out. I am not happy with Spectrum.

Ok. Lets start from the beginning. I would always use this app for when my family would hog the tv. And we only have one. So what I would do, is watch movies or Nickelodeon or Disney. And I loved it. And it’s great. Now, recently, a new musical episode came out and I decided to watch it on Nickelodeon. But for some reason, at the time, NICKELODEON WAS REMOVED FROM THE APP!!!! I mean, I know it was there because I would always watch Nickelodeon. What happens guys??? I mean, I love the app, and I still use it. But.... this was just ridiculous and bad luck for me. How, because years ago my parents removed Nickelodeon from cable. And now, we need to pay $200 for that simple channel? And they took out Nickelodeon from the Tv app!?!?!? Thing that frustrates me is that my parents took out the channel for free, and I have to pay to get it back......

When Directv Now launched, it took a bit of time for the app to run smoothly on the Apple TV. Subscribers suffered through commercial blackouts, swirly freezes and out-of-focus video. But to their credit, it’s become a good service — and with cloud recording to boot. As a former TimeWarner Cable subscriber, I became one of those DTV Now subscribers who patiently waited for TimeWarner/Spectrum to join Apple TV. Now that that has happened, I’m remembering that old saying: “be careful what you wish for...” The Spectrum Apple TV app takes too many seconds to load; the video loses focus from time to time, freezes and sometimes drops out altogether. I was patient with the DTV Now app because AT&T was new at this game. But Spectrum is not. It should not take a year to smooth out these problems. For now I’m holding onto my DTV Now subscription, but I will surely drop the Spectrum service if it does not perform better over the next 3 months.

While I appreciate being able to watch tv programming on my iPad via SpectrumTV, the off-and-on service can be infuriating. Can’t count how many times I’ve been bumped off in the middle of a program with a message that the channel is not available at this time! Or when I tap on the Guide tab and a message tells me - the only user of this device and SpectrumTV - that I do not have access to it and need to consult the administrator! What?! Yesterday, when I was blocked from accessing the Guide I tried to go to Live TV but the channel listing was incomplete, starting at USA. Sometimes shutting down and unplugging solves the problem but more often then not, the only solution is time. And by then the show is over and I’m no longer interested. For that reason, Spectrum gets a 3.

Spectrum is all about the high tech entertainment that they bring to the table. However, the ability to stream media on all your devices and while you are away is really not that available they have the apps and a decent selection of On Demand videos. And if you don’t mind a reload or streaming pause after every 10th word, these features are here. However, while I am fairly patient about occasional streaming lags, I am usually pretty irritated after 5 minutes and 20 gaps during playback. I enjoy that about as much as I enjoy the occasional teenager or pseudo adult who says ‘I know ‘ to everything and really don’t know or do much of anything. If teenagers are poster children for abstinence, Spectrum On Demand and streaming media are the poster children for cutting the cable. How much memory does one device really need to watch an old cable news show or house build video. Whatever your chosen daily punishment, Spectrum really doesn’t have any program worth the irritation.

I’ve been using the Spectrum TV App for iPhone and iPad on & off for years. I’ve never been overly impressed by these two iOS Apps but they are both free, so I never expected much out of them. However I was very excited when the Spectrum TV App for Apple TV was announced. To make a long-story short, I was excited at the opportunity of removing my Spectrum HD Cablebox and using Spectrum TV App for Apple TV on my “Apple TV 4K” (all the HDMI connections on my AV Surround Sound Processor were being used, so removing the Cablebox would free-up one HDMI port so I could connect a game console). Now that I have everything reconfigured, I can honestly report that using the Spectrum HD Cablebox is more feature rich and easier in every way, compared to the Spectrum TV App for Apple TV; and I am ok with that because what I care about most is high-end video and audio quality. At first blush the video quality looked pretty decent… but my excitement faded quickly once I started watching HD programming with fast action. If you are interested in high-quality video, you’ll be very disappointed with the Spectrum TV App for Apple TV. As I write this I am watching The Stanley Cup Playoff Finals on NBCSN and the HD video quality is nowhere near as good as watching the same thing on their Cablebox.
