  2. Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
    (Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore)
  3. Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
  4. Next, tap on Cerebral (subscription) you want to review.
  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Cerebral - Mental Health, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).



How to Cancel Cerebral - Mental Health Subscription on your Android device

To cancel Cerebral subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Cerebral app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the Cerebral - Mental Health subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your Cerebral subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.



How do I remove my Card from Cerebral?

Removing card details from Cerebral if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

Before Signing up or Subscribing:

  1. Create an account on Justuseapp. signup here →
  2. Create upto 4 Virtual Debit Cards - this will act as a VPN for you bank account and prevent apps like Cerebral from billing you to eternity.
  3. Fund your Justuseapp Cards using your real card.
  4. Signup on Cerebral - Mental Health or any other website using your Justuseapp card.
  5. Cancel the Cerebral subscription directly from your Justuseapp dashboard.

After Signing Up:

  1. If you didn't use a Justuseapp Card when you subscribed, your only option is to contact Cerebral directly. Get their Contact info →


How to Cancel Cerebral - Mental Health Subscription on a Mac computer.

To cancel Cerebral subscription on your Mac, do the following:


  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the Cerebral - Mental Health app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.


How to Cancel Cerebral - Mental Health Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your Cerebral subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Cerebral - Mental Health" or "Cerebral Inc." to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Cerebral - Mental Health.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.



What to do if you subscribed directly on Cerebral's website?

Here's how to cancel your Cerebral subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Cerebral's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all Cerebral's contact details here

  2. Visit the website of Cerebral. Click to visit .

  3. Login to your account.

  4. In the menu section, look for any of the following: "Billing", "Subscription", "Payment", "Manage account", "Settings".

  5. Click the link, then follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.

To delete Cerebral from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Cerebral - Mental Health until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Cerebral - Mental Health app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.

  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    How long does it takes for them to delete your account after you filled up the cancelation form. I don't want to keep seeing my credit card hold hostage anymore. It is so predatory that I cant delete my card information from the stupid app. They already charged me enough for a very poor service. i've had an account for less than a week, and have been trying to email and cancel for the last 6 days.

the only responses i've gotten have been

1- it'll take up to 24 hours to cancel your account (spoilers! it's been over 120 [one hundred and twenty hours] hours at this point, and they havent canceled anything

2- "thank you for updating your preferences."

that's it. particularly aggravating, since i havent updated anything on my end, and they just randomly send this email out.

How long does it takes for them to delete your account after you filled up the cancelation form. I don't want to keep seeing my credit card hold hostage anymore. It is so predatory that I cant delete my card information from the stupid app. They already charged me enough for a very poor service.     Best Therapy/Medication Experience I’ve Ever Had

    1.) I have been with Cerebral for 3 months and I cannot give them enough stars. I have been in therapy for 12 years and have had my medications adjusted multiple times over the last 3 years. This has been the first experience that I feel truly heard by my therapist (Sara W.) and my provider (Monica F.). Their ability to have direct communication with one another has expedited me getting proper help. They make it a priority to get in touch with one another right away when they feel changes need to be made. 2.) Being able to look through therapists’ profiles before committing to seeing one was also a great experience. I got lucky and LOVE working with my initial choice, but it’s great that you can switch from one therapist to another, without having to physically go to a new location. 3.) This app is so convenient and easy to use. I get help from the comfort and privacy of my own home, which has helped significantly to working through my struggles. 4.) I honestly see myself using this service for an extended amount of time! I have been feeling significantly better since starting with them in ways I haven’t felt in years.     i needed a therapist fast

    and they got me one. i downloaded the app yesterday after i came across it on a tiktok ad. i felt like it was a sign. even though i ignore all the other ads on tiktok i figured i’d give this a chance since i’ve been going THROUGH. SOME. ISH. i over slept through my alarms (go figure , i am sleep deprived and depressed) and show up and it says my therapist was available but no one was there so i join the room , and wait . go back into the app and try to reschedule being all sad cause i really wanted this appointment. I just made it yesterday , i haven’t even had the app 24 hours yet but i KNEW i NEEDED this appontment and i really didn’t want have to call the suicidal hotline cause i didn’t feel suicidal but i just don’t have any motivation to live (if that makes any sense) anyway my therapist is AMAZING. tomorrow i have an appointment with a care coordinator. i’ll update after that one.

    Just for in between doctors

    So i started cerebral for actual help with medications. My primary doctor was managing them all, and bless her heart she tried. She would just add more medications each time I addressed a new issue. At one point I was on 7. 6 mental health related. So I joined cerebral for management of medications. They did help me decrease medications. The support staff responds promptly. But for the price of the service plus the price of all the medications it is expensive for the service I'm getting. I see a doctor MAYBE once a month if I'm lucky and they’ve changed doctors on me too. With changing doctors came changing medications. I haven’t felt regulated at all since being on this service and am searching for a physical psychiatrist. I want someone who listens to what I have to say and can properly diagnose and prescribe based on history. Unfortunately my doctors on cerebral doesn’t really listen to me or ask any questions. And when I say the medications feel like they aren’t working, they just brush it off. Cerebral could do better and do regular check ins with clients on how they’re liking the service. I was also double billed once for medications and they fixed that issue by delaying my next delivery. They did this quickly so that was nice.

    Disappointed

    I was really excited to try this method of therapy out. I don’t really have a lot of time to do in person therapy and the thought of just being able to message my therapist sounded awesome. It also sounded convenient to be able to have meds available if needed. However, as I was setting up my account, my therapist that was “customized and personally selected based off of my needs” was not. And I get it, can’t always get what you want, but my biggest request was that I did not feel comfortable having a male therapist. Unfortunately that was the only choice they gave me. Customer support was actually quite helpful when I reached out to them asking if I could change therapists, but apparently there was only one therapist for my entire state and it was a male, so I didn’t have any other choices for therapists. This unfortunately was a major deal breaker for me. I completely understand the shortage in mental health workers, however, it was frustrating to put my money into a subscription before finding this out, and ultimately a waste of my money. I feel like this kind of information should be disclosed before people invest their time and money in this program.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    Update 2: I never received any services for my 2nd month, cancelled and asked for a refund, but Cerebral support’s Angelo D. rejected it. This is a subscription model, so even if they don’t give you any services, you will still be charged. Biggest waste of money ever! Update 1: This is my update after about a month. I was excited to find an online service to get my medication. And I enjoyed talking with my care providers for the initial sessions, but it’s been downhill from there. My providers don’t seem to listen to my needs as they’ve sent out way more medication than I said I needed. At least I got it in a timely fashion. I just don’t feel listened to and my care provider even canceled my second session last minute. Which is fine, stuff happens. However, the next available appointment is more than a month from now. With the prescriber, 2 months. Talking with your health professionals this infrequently with a monthly subscription service isn’t right. The app is almost unusable as well. Can’t book appointments or complete your tasks. Not worth the 85 a month in my opinion. I’m ending my subscription.
